Hi RTR, do you think this dress will look good on a 42 years young for a formal wedding? 

It looks like the smallest size in this dress is a 2.  I usually wear a 0 in normal clothes.  I'm 5'5", 105 lbs, and a 32B.  Do you think a 2 in this dress will fit me?  I know sometimes you need to size up for a formal dress anyway, so it might be fine, but I'm not sure...

The dress fits beautifully in the back - you can adjust the drape so that it hangs low and reveals a lot, or you can draw it up so that there is almost no skin showing.  Either way the fabric flows over your figure and doesn't make you look bigger or anything.

Hi Monica, we recommend that your date wear silver or all black to coordinate with this style. 

I saw this dress and thought it was gorgeous, the only problem is i have nowhere to wear it. Do you think it would be dressy enough for prom?

do you think that this would be appropriate for a summer wedding at night near the beach (but not black tie)?

Hi Aurora, this style is more beach/prom appropriate than black tie. We recommend dressing it up with crystal accessories if you go it! 

Would you consider this to be a semi-formal dress? 

if you had a date, what would he or did he wear for a vest color?

Hi Hunter, this dress is 58'' from shoulder to hem so you should wear at least a 2" heel!

Vera Wang dresses are dreamy, and the fit and fabric quality of this dress in particular are testament to that.  Loved the pockets, and the fact that you could adjust the drape in the back to be conservative or very provocative.  I go to a Christian school and they had to approve the dress so the back and the slit in front made me wonder if it would pass inspection, but the dress is so classy and elegant it was never an issue.

I rented this dress as a backup for a wedding I was attending. The dress color is gorgeous! The top fit my 34D chest very well. However, I am short and the open back dress went down too far. I would not recommend this dress for anyone shorter than 5'3 as the back is just too open. The dress did show a little wear on it. Material is flowy and beautiful. If I was taller I would have definitively worn it. 

This dress looks amazing on the model, on me however I looked frumpy. The back ties together in the butt area making your asset look bigger and not in a good way. Also, my chest was popping out of this. Color was beautiful but I didn't like the shape of the dress one bit. I had rented it for a wedding but thought that aside from the cut, it was not appropriate to show that much skin.

Didn't like it because pf the pockets but it made me look like i had wings on my hips.
