Slimming and ethereally beautiful
I loved this dress but the larger size was still too small. I am about a size 10 these days but it didn't completely close in the back. But I did love the dress and maybe next time I have a formal event I'll try again!

Longed to wear this dress forever and finally got my chance
Last year I was heavier (14-16) and couldn't find a large enough size in this dress, as it does run small. But this year I'm slimmer (10-12) and was so excited to rent this beautiful dress for my husband's formal holiday gala. I think I had the most beautiful dress at the event. So, it definitely runs small; don't kid yourself, but get your backup in the larger size. It was snug, but I was able to dance, sit, etc. I got a million compliments. I didn't wear a bra and that was not a problem (the pattern obscures any "headlights" I might ordinarily worry about, hehe). I was super happy and I wasn't even dying to change out of my formalwear by the end of the night!

Great for comfortable glamour as a wedding guest!
I wore my backup size because it fit me better. I usually wear a 14, but I think right now I'm a bit heavier than I normally am, so my guess is the fit is pretty true to size. The dress is very fancy and I got a lot of compliments all evening long. But it's also very comfortable, and I was able to dance all night long with no pulling, riding up, or discomfort. I had read you could go braless in this dress but I wanted to wear my bra (for the dancing!); it is a True&Co nude bra which was basically invisible through the embroidery. Also doesn't reveal your underwear lines. I'm all about comfort!

A sleek and sexy head turner, yet incredibly comfortable!
I received so many compliments on this dress and I felt gorgeous in it! It is lined with jersey, i.e., t-shirt material, so it's very very comfortable. It has a really nice drape, not too heavy, but the perfect amount. I felt like Ginger on Gilligan's Island. My spanx type undergarment was sticking into me in places, so I recommend making sure you have that figured out, but if you are good on that score you will love this dress. My only wish was that the spaghetti straps were a tiny bit shorter as they kept slipping off my shoulders.

Very pretty paisley pattern, I wish my waist were a little smaller!
It was very well-fitted except for the waist which felt like a size smaller. Rather than be uncomfortable I decided to send it back. But the garment is gorgeous! If you have a tiny waist for your size, I recommend it!

I wore this to my husband's holiday party. I got a lot of thumbs up from his coworkers for my dress!
My picture makes it look more cerise than it is in person - it's definitely fire engine red. The fabric has a lot of give and the dress is very comfortable despite being fancy. The cape is a bit silly but that's what I was going for. I was coming from work with my shoulder-strap bag, and it was hard to wear it with the dress, so you'd best bring a clutch instead. The front center of the neckline kept flipping outward, so I used some fashion tape to keep it inside (and removed before sending back).

Comfortable yet slightly snazzy
Very comfortable, and it has pockets, always a plus. I didn't wear Spanx (almost never do because they are unpleasant). I am definitely a 14 so this clearly runs large. I could have worn a size down easily (but I only ordered the 14). I received compliments on the dress throughout the evening. I liked the sparkly and sequiny bits quite a lot. Also goes well with cowboy boots!

Not too shapely on me
Really lovely fabric and beautifully made. I got this as my backup dress just in case the others didn't fit. While this did fit, it looked like a sack - on me anyway: I have a definite apple silhouette, and the dress did not do well with my shape. I wore the other style, which did a better job of obscuring the ol' belly.

The dress was perfect.
Both sizes sent were in perfect condition. The 14 was just a little too tight and I thought I might want breathing room at the event so I wore the 16W. I was able to wear a normal bra without it showing. I did wear spanx to smooth things out. I really liked the dress! I don't think I would have felt it was worth the full purchase price, but I definitely felt it was worth the rental price.
