80s prom meets work dress
I'm all about poofy sleeves but when paired with a drop waist skirt this comes off super 80s... and not in a cute way. Plus the top was huge and gapped. Did not wear.

Versatile and flattering style
These were great for all manner of events. I wore them on vacation, to walk on the beach, to a nice lunch, to work. Great all around. Wish they were softer inside (a bit stiff and bordering on scratchy) but comfy enough. Flattering and worked for a pear shape.

Great fabric, fun winter dress
The fabric was nicer, thicker and silkier than I expected. The cut was a little clunkier unfortunately - tight in the waist and flared out in the hips in a way that wasn't super flattering, but I paired it with an oversize sweater and it worked. Length was a bit awkward on me too but cute with boots. I'm usually a small for dresses that are fitted in the waist and loose in the hips but this medium fit snugly in the waist. So I'd say it runs just a TAD small, but close to true to size.

I wore this for a New Year's party. It was a roaring 20s theme but this jacket definitely has more of a 70s vibe... but I wore it anyway. Really fun bohemian luxury. Soft and warm!

ACID WASH JEAN DRESS
People freaked out over this dress - women, men, coworkers, friends, strangers. It's just so fun and unique. It runs large but was flattering and I was able to wear it without a bra thanks to thick fabric. I rented to wear to a concert but the concert got cancelled and I ended up wearing it multiple times and got tons of compliments. It's a lot of fun.

I had this shipped to my hotel for an out of town event, so it was nice to know that the high neckline allows for a normal bra (just pin the straps into a racerback), and the thick fabric means no need for special undergarments of any kind. The high/low skirt all means it works with a variety of heel heights without worrying it will be too long or short. The color was gorgeous, the fabric was thicker and forgiving, the pockets were a great touch, and the mesh panel in the skirt gave it just a bit of edge. Overall, it was a safe choice / sure thing for renting that still felt interesting. I tried both the 4 and the 6 and the 4 probably fit more perfectly, but the 6 was loose enough to allow for sitting comfortably for long periods, and some eating/drinking :)

Wore it on the red carpet at a work event and felt like a star
I was hoping to wear a long dress but after some misfires with my first choice dress, RTR helpfully send this one in at the last second and it worked out beautifully, even for my black tie event. The dress is somehow stretchy but the lace still doesn't look cheap. Its very flattering and body skimming - not too tight. It's quite short, but I felt okay with tights. I got so many compliments and even got interviewed on the red carpet for a fashion segment, where the host told me I won the "style award" for the night!
