I seriously wanted to purchase this dress, but couldn't justify that much $$. The photo I have doesn't do it justice-- the pattern is beautiful, the drape super flattering, and the aesthetic like an updated 60s/70s style. I had to wear with a belt so that the hem didn't drag, but it was very flattering without one, too. Will definitely rent again. 

This dress is so perfect! Soft and bright and easy to wear. Looks great on a zoom call too :) and I wore it to our tiny Thanksgiving celebration. Also, not too long - I was able to wear flats (slippers) with no issues. LOVE!! 

I love this brand, and this is my favorite piece by far from La Double J. I did wear a cami underneath for work because the back has a large slit. I have rented in small and xsmall. I like both- the main difference is that the xsmall shoulders are a little tight.

I'm 5'5" and the length was perfect with an inch and a half heel. The sleeves were not tight and the overall fit is great-loved the flowy skirt so I could eat and drink as much as I wanted! Fabric is soft and not see through, bright and beautiful colors. Loved wearing this dress. 

Wore this dress while vacationing in India. It blended in well with the local culture and I didn't have to cover up to go explore various religious locations. Felt very chic while also respectful/comfortable.

I loved this weird tent dress. The sleeves are fitted and the pleats in the front make it visually interesting. The pattern and fabric are high end awesomeness. 

This dress is incredible. Gorgeous fabric and print and moves beautifully. I had compliments all day. I wore it to work and out for drinks, but this is super versatile and could be worn almost anywhere. The arms were a little tight when I first put it on, but they got more comfortable throughout the day - otherwise fit is TTS. It's roomy and meant to be so. There's an opening in the back so for work I had to wear a cami; I took that off for drinks for a dramatic look. 10/10 would rent again!

So many compliments. Very flowy and loose fitting. Note that back is rather open so must either go braless or have a backless bra ready. 

So comfortable, long sleeved, warm and special. Wore for a holiday party. Lots of compliments.  One of the best ever, unless you require something form fitting.  This dress hangs beautifully. 

I was surprised at the number of compliments I got on this dress from men. I wore it with a belt because it was a bit to much maternity looking for me otherwise, but I am sure someone else could have rocked it without. I could have sized down and that may have made it better. 

This is a spectacular dress though without a belt, it's kind of shapeless.  I painted it with a black vintage belt and black boots.  It was a stunner!  I wore it to a luncheon and got an amazing amount of compliments!  The colors are so vivid!  I love it.

Very Roomy and comfortable, yet classic and flattering!

Rented this for a party and loved it so much I kept it in my closet for a few weeks because it's so gorgeous. It's tent like and runs large but that's to be expected. The slit in the back runs low so you can't wear a real bra. I had people on the street complimenting me. Absolutely love!!!

Definitely a funky choice for my relatively conservative DC-area job, but boy did I love wearing this! So comfortable and cute.  All day I've felt like I belong in a magazine.  Walking around at lunchtime I definitely got many looks-- though it was potentially people just thinking I was a weirdo! I paired with black mules.  This is a well made dress, feels good to wear, and I'd definitely rent it again.

I felt like a gazillion dollars in this striking dress I wish I could give it six stars. My eyes followed it in the Rtr in a team members hand and I took it from him (with permission) brand new with tags. I was so excited to wear it and it did not disappoint! This may well be my favorite rental of all time and that's a Big statement because I've had Many 

BEST DRESS EVER. The print is to die for and can be worn with black or nude, I did nude as still summer. The material is a slinky and cool viscose that is light weight but not sheer at all. POCKETS. The fit is perfectly tight at the top so it doesn't feel maternity. The slit in the back def shows you bra but doesn't gape open so not too breezy or revealing but still gives a pop of sexiness. The length was a bit too long for flats (I wore wedges). You could also knot it for more casual look. I want to only wear this brand - rtr get more la doublej!!! 

I've rented this for work, I rented it this time for working from home, and I will be renting it in a few months for a wedding. This dress does EVERYTHING! The fabric is so nice, but not shiny, so you can get away with wearing it during the day. It's a trapeze silhouette, but somehow is still extremely flattering, I think because the fit in the shoulders is so good and flattering. Rent this dress!!

I want this dress to buy me. I want to live in it. I've never felt lovelier or more comfortably classy on my zoom calls. 

I am 5'1" and unfortunately could not wear this dress. It was several inches too long on me even with heeled boots. The material was luxurious though and I loved the bold colors. Wish I could have worn.

Wrinkles VERY easily but overall a beautiful dress.

I ordered the XL, because I thought that's what I got last time, but because it's so flowy it needs to fit correctly in the shoulders to be very flattering.

Amazing dress, beautiful red color. Fits true to size. I wore with a skinny belt which helped it not feel so trapeze-y.
Would buy this dress and will rent again! 

What a fun dress for the holidays. Long sleeve is nice for cooler weather, back slit gives it a touch of fun, color/pattern is great twist on a holiday look. At 5'9" I wore flats and it hit lower ankle on me. Pockets are awesome. Loved this dress. 

Super easy to wear and comfortable. Wore to thanksgiving in Chicago. I could wear a warm layer underneath without anyone knowing. Lots of compliments. Would love an excuse to wear again. 

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner and literally every person commented on my dress. I've rented it before in an XL, my normal size. It was ok. I decided to go smaller and actually got it in a M and it was perfect. 

Looooove this dress! Stretchy and comfy yet flattering. The pockets are the best! 

I typically wear between a M and a L, so I went with the L on this dress.

The sizing is super weird with this style. I understand how it is supposed to fit (trapeze, flowy style), but I felt as if I needed to be about 6 inches taller (I'm 5'4") and my shoulders/back 6 inches wider. The seams at the shoulders fell far down my arms, yet the actual arm fit just fine (wasn't too tight or loose). I feel like it was made for a somewhat slender, athletic giantess. 

I was so excited for La DoubleJ, but their sizing is so inconsistent and just weird for any body type aside from a very tall, slender person. 

I will be trying the Medium, but I fear the issues will just be in different areas of the dress.
