Great length for work event or family dinner for me: just above knee. Lots of room for enjoying dinner and dessert while staying comfortable!

Perfect for Music Recitals (work event)
Being short, this dress was long enough to for "work appropriate" and great sheath fit. The material was lighter for summer too. Had compliments from both parents and students at my music school.

Bridal Shower Fun!
Love the "ring" and "diamond" pattern for a close friends bridal shower. Very fun colors but the darker shade and a dark jacket made this work for a wintertime shower. The brighter purple almost looks more pink/magenta in some light .

Difficult Top for Petites
Love the fabric and cut except for the top of the dress. I am a typical 2-4 petite but the collar of the dress was above my collar bones and would not lay flat. I tried with fashion tape, jacket and scarf but it just looked unfitted on my frame. So sad as I have had great luck with other RTR!

Comfortable lace detail and pockets!
The lace sleeves were very comfortable- I enjoyed not carrying a purse as my iPhone, lip gloss, and small ID wallet fit in pockets without changing the skirt shape.

Cocktail hour work and play!
I found this dress to be a good fit for attending a cocktail hour at a work event in Vegas. I was comfortable in the small, but would have liked to try medium as this was very fitted in the hip and bottom for a work function. My belief is that it is a dark navy, not black fabric. I wore red shoes so I'm still not positive!

I wore my normal size with a padded push-up and did not find the straps to be an issue like other users mentioned. The material is unique, a little textured making it a little more playful but less formal, in my opinion. Likely too casual for black tie but was perfect for the less formal wedding we attended.

Fun statement earrings without too much weight! I am more conservative with jewelry, but felt comfortable with the larger size for evening! It was nice to not be concerned with them falling out while dancing- the backing were very secure!

Comfortable and Fun to Dance in!
I am always chilly and did not want to carry around a jacket/sweater for my friends bachelorette dinner and dancing. This dress kept me very comfortable and fun to dance in with the flared skirt.

Unique twist on a "classic" black gown
This dress is figure flattering- I did not have any issues with straps other reviewers mentioned. It does hug the belly closely and is not super structured so A+ for comfort- but a little revealing if you plan on eating a big meal! Perfect petite length option for 5'1 with 3" heels.

Petite was still too long- wish it fit!
I am normally a 4P and ordered a 2P but this was about 4" too long for my 5'1 height and 3" heels. The fabric and shape looked great- disappointing it could not work for me. Luckily I also ordered the Nicole Miller "Such a Knockout" which was perfect for my height & heels.

I rented these for a friend to try at her shower- we both felt they look better with hair down or no necklace. Certainly attention grabbing. I didn't notice the "pink" tint that another reviewer described.

This dress has a great shape - very playful; "cocktail" rather than traditional party.
The scalloped top is gorgeous and overall fit was very flattering for my shape. Probably not best for women with broad shoulders but great for petite. This was too fancy for the couples shower I was attending but I look forward to renting again for another occasion. I am normally a 2 or 4 and was happy I read other reviews which recommended a "0". This fit me well.

Wore this for a couples shower - fun print and flattering cut.
A "2" probably would have fit better in the waist but unfortunately the zipper seemed to stick at the seam. The "4" fit me more comfortably up top and left room for snacking! This was my first rental and I felt the dresses arrived in great condition, clean, with no wrinkles.
