Ugh
Cute print and nice fabric, but it's just VERY clingy and that is not my vibe. It technically fit, but just fit like a second skin at the belly area in a way that made it seem too small. Can something both fit and not fit at the same time? I *could* have worn this and maybe with the right type of pants it would've looked okay, but it wasn't special enough to go through all that effort. Did not wear.

I really wanted to like this - the colors are vibrant and the fabric is so soft - but what others say helps to hide a belly only seemed to emphasize that area for me. Not very forgiving on my frame. Did not wear.

Wore to a gala and got SO MANY compliments on it. The straps were a little long, so I ended up pinning things and it fit much better then. If you like to show off your back and figure without showing a lot of skin, this is the piece for you.

Rented these with a gown for a gala. Wore my hair in a french twist with these and they were amazing. They look large when you see them but I thought they balanced out perfectly when wearing them.

LOVE
I LOVED this dress and would've purchased if not for the price. The back of it sat a little weird on me (bunching around the zipper) but it was not so bad that it wasn't wearable. The slit is a little high, but I found that for the most part it wasn't an issue for work.

This ran pretty large for me. I added a belt but the sleeves were very weird, so I threw a jean jacket on to cover it up and it was super cute.

I wore this so I would be visible in a crowded event. The colors are much brighter and the print is much more intense than it appears online. Material is very light and soft. If I didn't have this specific event need, I don't think I would wear this - just too intense for me for a regular daily wear.

This dress is so cute! I love the front zipper - I left it down by about 3 inches and I think it looks much better that way. Wore it with black tights and heeled boots. The sleeve cuffs are elastic, so I was able to push them all the way up above my elbows and have the rest of the sleeve poof over, so it looked like a 3/4 sleeve dress. I was nervous about getting a 10 (usually I am a 12 or 14) but my experience of other kate spade clothes running large held true here as well.

Flattering!
Surprised by the fabric but that made it all the more comfortable and flattering. Hides your belly and the fold is a cute detail. I wore this to work and out to dinner and got so many compliments from others.

Great fit and fabulous look
Wore this to a work gala and LOVED IT. Fit was great - got both the 8R and 10R and wore the 10R because it had a little more room in the rib cage for me. Found that it was slightly shorter in the front than the 8, but it worked out because I was able to wear more comfortable shoes. Got many compliments on the dress and felt amazing all night.

VERY tight
I rented the Large after reading other reviews about how tightly it fit, and wow, they aren't kidding. This left nothing to the imagination. It emphasized my tummy but probably would've been fine with spanx, but I rented this for work and wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something like this to the office. To be clear, it's not that the dress is so tight it doesn't fit - the fabric is stretchy and technically the dress fit - it's just that it's so clingy in fit and that needs to be okay for you. Bummed, because otherwise it was cute and would've been great with tights and boots.

Very cute and roomy
This purse was really cute and definitely large enough to hold anything I would have needed. I didn't end up using it because the gold color did not match my dress (this is more of a light gold, the dress had more of a yellow gold) and I was bummed because it otherwise would've been great.

Pretty color, but fit was weird
I was considering this dress for an upcoming gala, but ended up returning it. I got the 8R, which fit but wasn't really my style. It looked almost childish on me instead of sophisticated and it did nothing for my breasts - I couldn't wear a bra and there's no built-in support so I looked really saggy despite my very small size. I also didn't realize there was a slit in the middle to help you walk, but I didn't care for how it looked.

Comfortable with pockets!
Like other reviewers say, the arms are a little tight, but not so much that it was bothersome for me. The lining of the arms came down slightly past the lace, so I spent some time fiddling with it. It's incredibly flattering and lays nicely - I only wore some control-top pantyhose with it and felt fine. Color is really great - more more purple and rich than what it appeared online.

Very forgiving and comfortable!
I usually will wear a 12 in dresses that I rent, but I went off of previous reviews that indicated this dress ran a little large and only got the 10. I was pleasantly surprised that the dress fit well and wasn't tight at all. The skirt wasn't too flouncy or bulky and has a sheen to it that I wasn't expecting and made it a little fancier than I anticipated. The top does have a little stretch to it and the skirt has pockets! The top is cut slightly towards a racerback-style, so my regular bra straps were visible. The only drawback was that the zipper was incredibly stubborn at the waist where the two fabric types meet. It took a lot of tugging and maneuvering for it to go, even though there was plenty of slack in the fabric.
