I am a severe apple shape, so usually anything that fits my waist is huge in the bust and/or hips. This dress was perfect for me! There was even a little room to spare on the waist to make it super comfy (not too big, but just not skin-tight). Was assuming I'd have to hem tape the heck out of it, but everything was perfect. Length was great w/ 2" heels.

I took a gamble on this as the stylist notes are thin, but then again, I've found that they will often claim the same dress is good for hourglass and apple shapes which really makes no sense. Based on the comments by others (snug chest, loose waist), I decided to try it out and am so glad that I did!! A truly awesome option for apples - fits perfectly! And despite being a halter (which can sometimes be a little too revealing), it was modest enough that I'd feel comfortable wearing to a fancy work event. I loved it so much, I'm debating buying it. If I do, only change I'd make is hemming it just a tiny bit. I'm 5'5" and it went to just below my knees.

Wore for spring flowers themed auction. Cut has a bit of a 50s feel to it. Heavy fabric was great for night event and didn't wrinkle but could be too hot for a daytime or summer event. High-waist and then flared, which is great for apples; may also be bump friendly up to a point. No pockets but very comfy and worked great for my event.
