fun yellow floral party dress
I rented this for my friends rehearsal dinner in June and it was perfect. This dress can easily be dressed up or down, I added nude heels and bright blue earrings to make it a little more formal. This dress runs true to size, I'd say size up in your backup in case you have a bigger chest just because that part may be a bit constricting. It was a very light fun dress and I'd rent this again for another event

cute print but wasn't crazy about the dress overall
I rented this for my sisters bridal shower in April that was at an old Victorian tea restaurant. I thought the print and style of dress was good for that occasion however I did not really love it overall. The sleeves are a lot puffier than they appear in the photo so just be mindful of that. I felt it ran big I ordered a L and XL as my backup because I am tall so I did not want it to be too sure, but I probably could have got a M. I wore it with knee high boots as it was a bit chilly out but it would look great with heels or flats too. I thought it was just an OK dress, not my favorite RTR.

perfect dress for any occassion!
I rented this for my sisters rehearsal dinner over fourth of july weekend. The print is so cute and even more vibrant in person and the wrap style of the dress is great because you can adjust it to be tighter or looser. I did have to use some safety pins because I felt my chest was too exposed normally but it was easy to do and you couldn't tell. It was very comfortable and great for a hot July day. I'd recommend ordering your normal size and maybe a size up for backup if you have a bigger chest. I'd definitely rent this again for any other occasion, formal or casual!

perfect dress for my bridal shower
I rented this for my bridal shower at a winery. The dress was very comfortable but I would say it does run a tad small, so I would rent a size up as a backup. I took 1 star off just because of the dreaded side zipper, I felt like it was digging into my side throughout the day but it wasn't anything noticeable. The pattern is fun for any occasion and this can definitely be dressed up or down. I felt it was a tad see through so I'd also recommend nude undergarments to be safe. I would definitely rent this again!

very pretty and loved the color
I rented this and another dress for an outdoor August wedding - I went with the other dress I rented but I did love this dress. The color was great for summer and was vibrant. The only thing I didn't like was that it rain really tight around my chest and arms but loose at the bottom, which is why I didn't wind up wearing it. This Lilly dress I'd say runs small, so I would size up.

loved the color for a summer wedding
i rented this dress and the lilly pulitzer pearl blue and gold shift for an outdoor august wedding and I wound up wearing and liking this dress better! the wedding was more casual and I felt that this dress was perfect for it because I can easily dress it up or down. it is definitely form fitting so it shows everything, I'd recommend spanx to smooth everything out. Also as other reviewers noted it is tricky to get on so definitely do your makeup/hair after the dress is on! I recommend going one size up for your backup also. the material was light enough for a hot day but still thick enough where I didn't feel too over exposed. overall great dress and I'd definitely rent again! one of the better Eliz. & James dresses

pretty floral dress for summer
the dress fit true to size and has an elastic band around the waist which was comfortable and very flattering. i gave it 4 stars only because I was not a huge fan of the sleeves, i felt they were a little too long on the sides. i wound up not wearing this dress to the wedding and wore another, only because it was a very hot day and the other dress was lighter, but overall i would recommend this dress, perfect for any occasion, casual or you can dress it up!

odd fit but pretty lace detail
this dress was very pretty and the lace detail gave it a more dressed up look. I rented in a size 10 and 12, the 10 fit, but I found the top of the dress to be very odd. the sleeves cut in more showing off more of your shoulders but I must not have filled out the chest area fully because the sides of the dress where the chest area was were very loose and almost popped out a bit. I had two other dresses for my event so I wound up wearing one of those. I would just beware of the chest area when renting and if your a fuller bust you should be OK but if you are not I'd either get some safety pins or fashion tape or a good padded bra! overall the dress was pretty but not my favorite rental

fun dress that can be dressed up or dressed down
this was a backup dress for me and I got the size 12 based on other reviewers saying to go up a size or two. it was definitely VERY tight but form fitting and I didn't need to wear a bra or spanx, however it was a little too tight for my event as I was going to be in a dress for hours at a wedding, so I went with another more looser fitting dress. the color is great and it is very flattering on, just a little too tight for my event so I did not wind up wearing

classy red dress
I rented this last minute for a November wedding and am glad I did! The dress is elegant and can be dressed up or dressed down. I wore it with a gold statement necklace and nude heels. I am 5'10 and the dress was a perfect length, but beware if you are short as it will probably be long on you. The dress fit pretty true to size, they only had a size 12 available for when i needed it and it worked, it was a little loose at the bottom and in the chest area, but I made it work. I could have done with a size 10 if they had it. Overall I would recommend and the color is great it's more of a deep red then a cherry red which I liked for a fall wedding

Classy black dress for a formal event!
I rented the ML and LR for a formal wedding - I'm about 5'10 so I was nervous for the regular length to be too short, but that was all that was available for the dates I needed. The regular was definitely too short so I recommend anyone about 5'8 or above getting the long length, even if you are planning to wear flats. I wore the ML, which fit but was definitely tight at first. After wearing it throughout the night it loosened a bit but not to the point where anyone would be able to notice. The sleeves are a great feature they give the dress a very classy elegant look without being too over the top. As other reviewers have noted it is a low cut dress. I wound up wearing a backless strapless sticky bra and it worked out fine. If you are bigger busted I would just keep that in mind and maybe size up one. The dress is form fitting so I did not need to wear spanx which was great the dress pretty much sucked everything in! Overall it was a great dress and I felt great in it! I would definitely recommend renting

perfect dress for a winter party
I wore this to my company's holiday party in January and it was perfect for the occasion. the material is soft and breathable so even with the long sleeves it does not get too hot. I agree with other reviewers in that the bottom of the dress does not "give" too much so if you were going to be doing alot of walking or dancing, the bottom of the dress might be a little restrictive as there is no stretch to it. the dress fit pretty true to size - they only have a size 8 when I ordered it and it was a good fit. I would recommend!

Great color and fit!
Dress fits true to size. The color is even better in person. RTR sent this to me as a back up dress after the first one I ordered didn't work out and I couldn't have been happy. I wore to an outside wedding the material is a bit thick but was still comfortable. You can easily dress it up or down. The pockets are a great plus!

i rented this for an outdoor wedding that was more casual. the dress fit and looked great when i tried it on but it was a bit more formal than I had hoped. I am also about 5'10 and ordered the regular size and it was dragging on the ground. I wound up wearing another dress but i would definitely rent again for a more formal affair!

Perfect dress for a summer wedding
I rented this for a summer wedding and I loved it! The material is almost scuba like but it turned out to fit perfectly. It's not restricting at all and very easy to move around in. The colors are bold and I got compliments all night! This dress is true to size and since I am about 5'10 the length was perfect. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

super comfortable and looks great on!
i rented this for new years eve and i LOVED it. it was like scuba suit material so it was tight and form fitting which was great. the dark blue and black compliment each other really well- you could easily dress this outfit up for a more formal affair or dress down just for a dinner or party. i rented the small and medium. the medium was a little bigger and the arms were baggy, so i went with the small it was a more comfortable fit. i would definitely rent this dress again it was so pretty!

classy and comfortable!
i ordered this dress for a night out in AC with my friends. i ordered the small and medium, and medium was more comfortable. however this was a bit more formal looking than I had hoped for a night out in AC so my friend actually wound up wearing it and also loved it! It's great, definitley cannot wear a regular bra and the material is thicker than i thought- which i was happy about. the back gives it some edge and i loved the lace! overall it was a great dress, super comfortable and i would definitley rent again for a different occassion!

great color and fun dress!
i wore this to a formal party i had to go too. the color is a lot more vibrant in person which i loved. it's actually a bit longer than on the model as well, which for me was good since i am tall! it its form fitting and can be a little see through, so i would recommend wearing some shapewear underneath if possible. overall it was great and comfortable!

It runs true to size, but its not too tight. the length worked out well too i was nervous it would be too short but it was right above my knee. I usually wear a medium and the medium fit perfect. It's form fitting and it looked great, i got compliments all night! definitely would recommend this dress it can be perfect for any type of semi-formal occasion. I wore nude heels with it and gold jewelry. the material is great and i could still move around in it. loved it!
