Laidback with a hint of sexiness
I loved, loved, loved this dress. It was a little too chilly where I live to wear it with bare legs, so I wore it with brown tights and gold boots, and it looked incredible. It was definitely a standout look. The dress is lightweight and comfortable, and the shape of the bodice and neckline make it quite flattering. Ten out of ten.

Spring garden wedding perfection
The invitation said to dress for a "spring garden wedding," and I could not have picked a better dress. It was so soft yet striking, and even though it was demure, it was quite alluring. You may notice that I tied the sash differently than some of the other wearers; when I tied it in the back, it looked very matronly on me. I had to bring it back to tie it in the front to give it a sexier, more flattering shape. The dress was super comfortable, too. Note that it has a high slit.

An exciting but super comfortable dress
Oh my! I have never enjoyed wearing a dress so much! It could work for so many occasions; I wore it to a work party, to the theater, and on a date. And it was so comfortable that I looked forward to putting it on each time. Even with the tiered skirt, it draped so beautifully and didn't feel bulky at all. A fierce and fabulous dress! Be sure to have a low-cut bra!

Flirty and fun
People couldn't help but comment on how much they loved this dress. Men, women, young, old -- it seemed people in every category enjoyed its sweet yet vivacious energy. The first one I ordered had an issue -- the elastic on the edge of the shoulders were gone, so the sleeves would just flop down, like an off-shoulder dress. Fortunately they were able to send me a new one overnight. The new dress was perfect, though the sleeves did come down every so often. Otherwise a great dress. It felt both light and substantial at the same time.

High-fashion sparkle
This is the EASIEST glamorous dress I have ever worn. It is very comfortable, the shape is forgiving, and it takes little to no effort to accessorize. One of my favorite rentals to date. Also, even though there were a lot of sequined dresses at this wedding, this one stood out because it draped so beautifully and was elegant instead of overtly sexy. The satin collar and bow and the ombre pattern made it extra special.

Fit for a fashionista
This dress has all the right characteristics for a high-fashion girl. Unique color, unique print, unique tailoring. I love how it was structured, but the fabric and cut gave it an element of softness. This is probably in my top three rentals to date. I wore it with the Kendra Scott Black Granite Collins Statement Earrings, which were a PERFECT match.

Demure with a touch of cool
This is a great dress. It's modest, so for some it may feel a bit mumsy, but the button/ruffle details in the front and the flowing ribbons in the back elevated it to a cooler level. The fabric is insanely gorgeous, breezy, and comfortable -- I was able to wear it all day and didn't feel the slightest trace of discomfort. Just note that the size 4 felt more like a 6.

Casual, comfortable, and chic
I could not have picked a better dress for my travel day. I wore it with leggings on the plane, then pulled off the leggings once I arrived at my destination. It has a chic, lab-coat vibe -- like an aesthetician, but in the best possible way. If I owned this dress, it would get constant use. I can't think of one bad thing to say about it.

Bold but elegant
These earrings were GORGEOUS and not too heavy, either. They didn't stand out against my black hair but looked great once I pulled my hair back. They have a modern-art-deco look and will look great with a structured outfit. I wore them with J. Mendel's Blue Hibiscus V-Neck Dress and it was a perfect match.

Sporty and flattering
I'm somewhere between S and M, but I wore the S because it was so lovely. It definitely doesn't have the roomy, oversized look in the model photo -- the model must have been wearing larger than her usual size. On me, the size S was cropped, so even with high-waisted jeans I was tugging at it a bit. The neckline is so flattering. Great sweater. Itchy tag on the inside waist. But such a great sweater.

So classic and pretty
One of my favorite dress rentals! The fit was great, and I loved such sexy details on a classic dress, like the high slit and open back. I was a little dressier than most of the women at the party, but it's a very versatile style, so I didn't feel out of place. By the end of the night I had my cardigan on and it still looked super cute and chic. Now I want to try more dresses by Reformation!

Sumptuous in every way
Holy moly, this dress is amazing. The gorgeous color and flocked fabric floored everyone; even I couldn't stop looking down at it. It photographed so beautifully, too. Some details: I am usually between an S and M, depending on how tight the shoulders and ribcage are. In this case, I was able to wear the S, but there was no wiggle room in the bodice. I couldn't wear a bra because the neckline plunged too low. Also, notice the high slit up to the top of the thigh. The whole thing was to die for! And it was brand new so I got to remove the tags myself. Love!

Insanely flattering
My figure isn't anything to write home about, but this dress could have fooled you. Everything on my body looked lifted and toned. The fabric was high-quality with great structure that held everything in, plus it was barely wrinkled by the end of the night. The color was absolutely luscious and a stand-out from every other dress in the room. One of my favorite rentals to date. A note about sizing: I'm sometimes a 4 and sometimes a 6, but in this dress I needed a 6 because the bodice was so tight and I have a big ribcage.

Cute
I had mixed feelings about these drop earrings. They were cute and not too heavy, and I loved the way they looked with my yellow sheath dress, but I wasn't a big fan of how they didn't drop straight down. The leaning made them look like they were heavy and about to fall out. Be aware that I don't think they're nickel-free, because my ear lobes started to get irritated a couple of hours into the evening.

Exquisite in every way
This blouse felt too good to be true. It was stunning from every angle, the quality was exceptional, and the compliments were endless. A note about sizing: I am normally between a Small and Medium. I managed to get the Medium on and it looked great, but it was certainly tight. I had the Large as a backup but went with the Medium anyway. DO size up for your backup. (Another tiny piece of advice: I wore the blouse with the Precious Poppies Earrings from Kate Spade, and they were a PERFECT match!)

My favorite accessory rental to date! These earrings are fun and festive without being overwhelming; they are completely fabulous yet totally tasteful. They weren't heavy on the ear lobes at all, and they kicked my blouse up a notch. (Note: I wore them with the "Black Better Days Top" by Keepsake.)

A little demure, and very chic
I usually fall somewhere between a 4 and 6, but I had to wear the 6 in this dress; my ribcage was too wide to zip up the 4. Because the dress is see-through on the bottom half, it looks awkward when it doesn't go all the way to the floor, so be sure to order the long length if you are tall; I wore the 6R and had to wear flats for it to look right. Get help with the zipper -- it's a stiff one! It really is a gorgeous dress. Thick lace, great quality, very flattering. It is on the demure side and the opposite of flashy. Fans of Audrey Hepburn's style will love this one.

Supremely chic but not too buttoned-up
I wore this to a low-key event where I was the MC. It was chic and professional, but the looser top made it feel not too buttoned-up or severe. The fabric is very forgiving and comfortable. I loved it so much that I wore it again the next day, with a long-sleeve tee, tights, and ankle boots for a more casual winter look (see photo). Great dress; one of my favorites.

This is one of my favorite dress rentals to date. The rust color is so pretty, the fabric is high-quality and has an elegant sheen, the silhouette is forgiving, and it is quite cute without trying too hard. I wore it to an informal, rustic, winter wedding and thought it was a great choice. I loved it so much that I wore it casually the next day, with a cardigan and ballet flats.

Chic, Classic Dress with Bare-Shouldered Oomph
This dress isn't super sexy, and it isn't a showstopper, either. However, about 50% of the women at that wedding came over to ask me what designer I was wearing. It may not be a showstopper, but it did stand out, in its own way, with its classic elegance. It was flattering and not overly formal. The fabric was also thick and didn't wrinkle easily. An allover great dress. I was very pleased.

Light, easy, and packable
This dress is wrinkle-free and folds up as small as a t-shirt, so if you're looking for a dress you can throw in your purse and then wear after work or something you can pack in your suitcase, this is a great option! It's light, comfortable, and so easy to wear. It's jersey, so it's not suitable for a formal occasion. Personally I thought it looked better in person than it did in photos, but it was still a great value and I was happy with this rental.

Timeless ballerina style
This isn't the kind of dress that gets you noticed in a crowd, but it is very, very pretty. The cut is very flattering, the open back and short hemline are super sexy, and the neckline and sweet silhouette are timeless and very "ballerina." At the last minute I ditched the strapless bra and went braless, because it emphasized the ballerina look. This is the kind of dress you just want in your closet. It is comfortable and versatile. I loved it so much I even wore it the next day, with boots and a sweater.

Sleek and chic
This was one of my favorite rentals to date. A friend of mine put it best when she said, "Oh my gosh! You look like Taylor Swift!" Haha. I felt really fantastic in this dress all night. Other reviewers weren't kidding when they said it runs small. I managed to put on the Small Regular (my usual size), but the bandeau part of the dress, which has buttons in the back, was almost impossible to button up, even with two people helping. So I went for the Medium Regular, which was STILL almost impossible to button, but we did it, though I had to remove my bra otherwise there were stretched holes in the button panel showing what was underneath. Without a bra on, it worked great. What a fantastic dress. I would wear it again and again.

Totally fun and unique dress
My sister was struggling to find something to wear for a wedding, so I did her a favor and gifted her this dress. It's absolutely perfect. It stood out from all the other dresses and gave her the cutest shape. The top is tight like a corset, but all the better because the bottom poufs out like a cupcake. She felt amazing all night and didn't want to give it back. She's 5'3" (I think) and has an hourglass figure. Five stars, absolutely.

Cute dress, more for everyday than for an event
Rent the Runway sent me this dress as a replacement, because the dress I wanted wasn't available at the last minute. It wasn't an appropriate replacement for the formal mini I had rented, but I made the best of it and wore it that morning. Though it wasn't my style and I wouldn't have picked it for myself, it was actually pretty cute. It was very light and breezy (but it's lined), and the short length kept it from looking matronly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it felt only slightly matronly. So, cute dress for the art museum? Check.

Business in the front, party in the back
I was frustrated with this jumpsuit. The front was blah; the back was fun. I couldn't zip up the size 4 because the zipper was sticking, so I had to wear the 6 and it was much too big in the shoulders. It didn't sit right from the bust up. Also, the crepe fabric was pretty unforgiving. Fortunately it was a beautiful, vibrant color -- a bright orange-red -- and it was so easy to wear and still looked polished. If I had a chance to try it on beforehand, I wouldn't have chosen it, but it was fun to wear for a day.

Thick fabric, flattering silhouette
Gorgeous dress. Jaws dropped when I tried it on. The silhouette was so flattering, the cutout details unique, and the thick, scuba fabric kept me warm on a very cold night. But the reason I couldn't give it five stars is because it had two problems for me: 1) every flash photo taken showed every single bump and bulge on my body, and 2) the cutouts came so low on the chest that you could see the cups of my bra. I didn't even bother wearing a strapless bra because it was still so obvious. All that said, it was beautiful and I'm glad I rented it, despite the issues.

Good choice for winter
This was not the best dress for my body type. I have a straight figure and broad shoulders, so the horizontal line at the shoulders and vertical lines down the front just made me look MORE straight and MORE broad. This is a dress for curvy women with narrower shoulders! But I liked the idea of it. It's good quality. Since it's a thick knit, it was both comfortable and warm for a chilly night. The fabric has no shine at all, so it would be a good option for work, too. I liked the length and silhouette, but the design just wasn't the best for my body.

Fun and flattering!
I could not have picked a better dress for the winter wedding I attended. This was fun yet elegant, and I loved how unpredictable it was in a crowd of long and lace dresses. The cinched waist plus pouf skirt was insanely flattering, and the sheen of the fabric elevated it to formal attire. The skirt is pretty short and unlined, so, hello breeze! Also, the model photo makes the dress look like it has a white background, but it's gray/silver. Note that you can wear this dress with a regular bra. Such a fantastic dress. Fantastic.

Structured dress that works for summertime.
I liked this dress, and so did everyone else. Raves from men and women alike. The length and shape made it feel like a new version of a mod '60s dress. The fabric is soft and structured, almost like a thick cotton sateen. It worked really well for an evening, summertime party (my high school reunion) where I wanted to have a look that was more edgy than sweet. Unfortunately I never tried on the size 42, but I wish I had, because by the end of the night the size 44 was stretched out a bit whereas I wanted it to be more snug. Overall I liked this dress, but the shape didn't make it as edgy as I was hoping for.

Great choice for a 1920's wedding reception!
Because other reviewers mentioned that the green slip ran small, I ordered the Size 4 and the Size 6 so that I could wear the larger slip. I actually didn't think the slips were different -- they fit exactly the same to me (and in fact, both said size "P"). BUT the Size 4 slip had a crooked hemline and sat too high in the front, so I'm very glad I had the Size 6 slip to wear instead, which had an even hemline. Really great dress, and worked great for the 1920's wedding reception I attended!

Pretty winter floral in a thick, scuba fabric.
I rented this for a daytime winter wedding, and I'm so glad I did. The fabric was a thick, scuba material and kept me warm, and the print stood out in a sea of solids. I probably could have worn a size smaller, but it worked just fine -- it was slightly roomy but not oversized. It was perfect, actually.

Perfect for a company holiday party
For a company holiday party I wanted something structured and sophisticated but not without personality; the lace back was the perfect touch of "fun" for a professional, company-appropriate look. Strikes the perfect balance between conservative and sexy.
I liked this dress way better in person. In the model photo it looks stiff and conservative, but in person it is much more relaxed and effortless-looking. The long length and covered shoulders made it appropriate for the Mormon wedding I attended, but it didn't make me feel at all matronly. It was the dress of the night for sure; compliments from everyone. Plus, the fabric is a more casual ponte-knit, which made it comfortable for the whole 14-hour event.
