Wore for a fancy dinner
Loved the awesome back! Great that the front is modest in juxtaposition with the open back. Wore glue on bra and thong to keep everything smooth. Very business in the front party in the back. Very flattering LBD+.

Loved this rental! Lots of compliments- was told I looked very "stately" and "senatorial," lol. Material is thick and has lines in the texture. Had to fashion tape the front down to keep everything in place. Was warm for a brisk morning- would be too thick for a hot day. No issues with this dress- all pros.

I loved it, but the bf was not onboard
I loved this rental- very unique and well fitted. The boyfriend was not a fan though. I really loved the fit in the back- very flattering. But he said it made me look like I didn't have a flat stomach. He also couldn't get onboard with "the whole thing is just one piece- that's so weird!" It was a bit unforgiving in the middle; I distracted from the area by belting. Overall, I really liked it, even if he didn't.

Went up a size for better fit
The dress is a flattering cut. The bodice is a thick material that provides good hold. It's really a "what you see is what you get" dress. I think that the fit is true to the sizes RTR suggests to match the company's sizing. I tried a 0, which is generally too small on me but sometimes works, and it was too small for me in this dress. The size RTR suggested as a 2- which is my true size- fit much more comfortably.

And then they sent it to me without the belt, which made it a huge disappointment because the belt is a major feature of this romper. Other than that, the fit was fine except the cuffs were a bit constricting and I had to use fashion tape to keep the neckline in place.

Shows entire bra side
This dress is basically a very large loin cloth with a hole for your head and a tie front. As a result, the arm holes are huge and go from the shoulder to where the dress ties. So the entire side of my bra was showing, including some skin under my bra strap. I shouldn't have worn it, especially because I was traveling in a very conservative country. I most definitely would not rent it again, and I don't really recommend it.

Heavy enough to wear in the fall
I wore this for a day of vineyard hopping. It was extremely comfortable and fit very well. It's heavy weight so I made it work for the transitional weather. The knit fabric is form flattering. I would rent it again

Not going to wear this-too long
Nice dress, but way too long. Even with heels, there were a few inches of this dress on the ground. The material is kind of noisy so the dragging is very distracting. Considered fashion taping but the slit is very open so the folded in piece would be very visible. Also overall fit isn't that flattering on me. The dress has a very 90's Barbie/pageant queen look to it. Glad I ordered this with enough advance time to send it back and pick something else (unlimited member).

An entire roll of fashion tape couldn't make this decent
I wanted to wear this for my boyfriend's birthday dinner, but it was a complete failure. There is no amount of fashion tape that could get this dress to cover my bra. So I tried without the bra. But if I'm not wearing a bra, I definitely need to rely on the straps to stay up. The straps were so long, they were nowhere near useful. I tried tying knots in them to shorten them, but the material wouldn't hold the knot. There was just no way. Mind you- I'm an A cup and this dress couldn't decently cover my A cups in a bra. I also strongly feel that all dresses on RTR that have thin straps like these should have the straps be adjustable. And if a designer makes a dress with non-adjustable straps, RTR should just alter them to be adjustable. These dresses are intended to fit every kind of woman- adjustable straps are a must.

Wrinkly; ironed poorly
Echoing other reviews, this arrived a wrinkly mess. I tried to iron it and the iron left visible marks on the bottom layer. I couldn't stop staring at them all day. I would not rent this again- way too difficult to keep neat.

Last minute grab from the RTR store
While in Chicago visiting friends, my boyfriend snagged a last minute reservation to Alinea. I didn't have anything cute to wear so I stopped by RTR and tried on half the store. This was the front runner. If I had the entire app's worth of choices, I would have picked something else for this occasion, but I had 3 slots open in my unlimited order and used them to make a cute outfit. With regard to this dress, the hanger had definitely stretched the shoulders out and it fit a little funny as a result. Otherwise, I liked the fit. The sweetheart neck was flattering and did not require fashion tape to cover my bra- which is very rare for me. The dress is fully lined with a very soft almost fleece material that feels very nice. It was a good last minute find for dinner.

Not as warm as it looks
Rented this for a trip to Chicago, where it was colder than where I was coming from. Very open neck, not as thick as it looks- layered with hoodie as a result. Echoing other reviews, it is narrow on the hips and wide up top, but that's the menswear style. It looked best worn unbuttoned. I'm glad I had it, but I wouldn't buy it.

Very cute top!
Cropped but not too cropped. Great colors. Stretchy, flattering, and forgiving. Off-shoulder and stays put. Good quality. Really liked it. That said, this item was not my first choice for my unlimited shipment. I got it because there was extremely little available in stock and because I learned that my first choice item did not actually exist- RTR advertises a lot of items in their inventory that they don't actually have, and not because they are rented, but because they just literally do not have those items anymore; they used to, but they don't anymore. This is false advertising and it's very frustrating. And this is not the only issue that RTR has- missed shipments, wrong items sent, extremely slow customer service response, etc. So while I gave this item 5 stars, I would give RTR's operations 2 stars.

This top is Target quality. The original price for this top is completely outlandish for what it is. Shoulders don't stay down. It's like a light linen smock. Colors are drab. Fabric is cheap. This is not worth renting.

Definitely a little short for work. Loose around the waist. Nice color. Had to be ironed prior to wearing. Zipper pockets are not functional. Dress was fine, but nothing to get excited about. I only rented it bc there was such limited stock of work appropriate dresses. And the only reason I would rent it again is if again there was a limited stock of work appropriate dresses.

Wore this for a large company interviewing day
Not a fan of the fit on this. It was too big in the waist and the extra fabric just sat there in wrinkles and the shoulders kind of felt like they were hovering above my body. Meanwhile, it was too small around my butt and kept riding up. The ruffle was often what was covering my butt from being exposed. It fit a mess, and I don't know whether to say it runs small or big- small below the waist and big above the waist, which altogether was a recipe for disaster for my pear shape. And fit aside, it's a very basic, boring dress. It looks like something you could get at your local Banana Republic. RTR should have more special items.

Loved the ruffled sleeves
This was hard to get into. Like all RTR items with zippers it was very difficult to zip. But once you manage to get it on, it's well tailored and the ruffled edges add nice detail. It stayed in place off the shoulders. It's a bit cropped and I paired with high waist jeans. If it was cheaper I would have bought it. Though it was quite worn out and the colors were fading and it had some pulling.

Great color, great fit
Wore this to a show. Loved the fit. Appropriate length. But now we have to talk about RTR as a whole. Over the past three months, the decline has been extremely palpable. I have received wrong items numerous times. Outside the New York area, my packages miss their delivery dates 100% of the time. The wait time for customer service has been well over 30 minutes- or even better- a recorded message saying their phone lines are tied up, instructing the caller to email, and hanging up. Unlimited items go quickly so when I am choosing a replacement item for RTR's screw up, I am choosing from what is available at that moment and it needs to be processed quickly. Instead, email responses take 24 hours, items I chose are no longer available, and I have to spend more time choosing items. This really defeats the purpose of a RTR subscription. I was told the reason for the poor customer support is they are over stretched for the holidays. It's early October and this has been going on for at least two weeks- if they are overstretched in September and October, can you imagine what it will be like in November and December- when the holidays are actually relevant? Recently I have also noticed that many of the items RTR advertises- that I wait and wait to come available on the app (you guys ever thought of adding a notification bell feature?), don't actually exist. If you go to the 4day rental calendar, it is greyed out through as far as you can go- and that's not bc the item is that popular- no one decided in October to rent a romper for a Tuesday through Friday in February. And finally customer service did confirm that they don't actually have the item in my size anymore. A quick search (10 min long) of some other items I was excited to wear showed me 4 more items that don't exist. This is false advertising- your customers want to know what the actual size of your stock is. It's a consumer protection issue- you are advertising a much larger stock than you actually have and misleading customers about the value of your service. I feel the value delivered has only decreased over the past few months and that the price of unlimited should drop at least $40 to represent that until RTR gets their customer service and supply chain in order. I'm strongly considering leaving the RTR family after the sharp decline in service I have experienced since July - in August, I received a whopping four items on time the entire month that were not damaged or the wrong item. I ordered a Tanya Taylor dress and received - I kid you not - dirty sweatpants. Cmon. It's such a good idea- stop messing it up!

Wore this for my birthday drinks and dinner. Based on the reviews, I sized up from my regular size 2 up to a 4- definitely the right move. This fit well. It's a bit long, as other reviewers wrote, but I wouldn't have even mentioned it if I hadn't read that in other reviews. Well made- but definitely wouldn't pay anywhere near $500 for it. I enjoyed wearing it. The peplum was flattering. It wasn't uncomfortable to manage in. It was hard to zip- in fact, I've never had a rental from RTR that wasn't hard to zip- no matter what size, how loose, etc.; not sure why that is.

Snagged on everything
Due to the nature of this top, it's just not a good RTR item. The material snagged on everything. I had to wear a jacket over it. The bodice was partially lined with a nude underlayer but other parts were just the open knit fabric. Arms were very narrow. A bit cropped, but in a manner that just made it look a little too small rather than intentional. I would not rent this again.

Comfortable cocktail dress
This dress had a nice stretch to it that made it comfortable all night and all through an all you can eat dinner. I wore it to formal night on a cruise. The color was a little dull and wintery. I don't think I would rent it again because it just didn't have any pop. But my boyfriend loved it and thought it was very flattering.

Unique, eye-catching dress
I wore this to a formal night on a cruise ship, which is probably one of the only places in my life I could ever wear this adorable but very bold dress. I had a short internal debate about cultural appropriation before renting this dress, but came to no conclusion other than I really wanted to wear this one time. The dress is very form fitting on the bodice, with a bit of a flare in the skirt. It fit as it should, true to size. I enjoyed wearing it to formal dinner and the casino afterward.

Funky button placket is somewhat impractical
I liked the print and style of this top and thought it was a great way to mix up my outfits for work. However, the button placket just didn't work for me. It's designed so that there are 3 buttons closely spaced, then a gap, then three buttons again. The gaps caused modesty issues when sitting down- they would open up and I had to be careful to tug the top every so often to close the gaps. If I had fashion tape on me, that could have solved for this. It wasn't so bad that I had to close up my cardigan for the day, but I would have preferred a regular button placket. Also the waist a bit tight when sitting down and there was a tag on the waistline that was itchy. That said, the print is great for work- not too bold, but still fun, and the material was good quality and tailoring was well done. I liked the peplum style and I appreciated the modest neckline for work. I don't think I would rent it again, just because there is so much more to choose from, but I would still recommend it as a work top.

Fun romper for a fun day
Wore this for a weekend getaway. Loved the colors. Wore this for a very active day of activities and was comfortable the entire time. Appreciate the pockets. The cute double ruffle off shoulder detail blew in the wind as we rid around on motor bikes- very iconic moments ensued. My only complaint is the unnecessary, never flattering front pleats. In many photos, where I hadn't purposely adjusted the front prior to the snap, the pleats furled the front of the short forward, creating unnecessary dimension around my lower tummy. Front pleats never work positively and should be banned from all clothing. I look quite chunky in the photos taken before I realized what the shorts would do when left to their own devices. Chunky / dorky.

Good for a Saturday outfit
I love the llama print on this cute top. I wore it for a very full Saturday, including a BBQ, a soccer game, walking through the farmer's market, boating, dinner, and drinks. The quality was a lot nicer than what I expected; it's a fancy material with a satin liner underneath. Per other reviewers, the neck is very tight- I have a very thin neck and it was a little tight for me. It's very a-line so it doesn't give you a waist; it made me look a bit thicker, but I forgave it that because I just loved the print so much. The white of the background was a lot brighter than I expected. I would recommend it for a casual day of activities and I think it can be dressed a little bit up for night time and a little bit down for daytime.

My favorite dress of all time
I have an unlimited subscription, which is really the only way I could see myself renting since many of the items I am interested in are close in price of a monthly membership. But this also means I don't always get my first choice picks for particular dates, which was a risk I was running up against with a wedding I had mid-summer. I made a short list of dresses I was interested in but there was one dress that was my ultimate first choice above all others- this one. The dress was unavailable for the week leading up the event, but on Tuesday morning prior to the Saturday of the wedding it appeared and RTR customer service was very accommodating, allowing me to take out more than 4 items at once in order to have my first pick choice for this event - and ship it expedited to make sure I had it by the date I needed it. Five thumbs up for the customer service I received around this order. Regarding the dress- it is by far my favorite dress I have ever rented or ever worn. I love the style, the color, and the fit. The top is flattering and comfortable. I would wear this over and over. The only thing is that if I were to rent this again, I would go up a size. Based on the reviews, it was hard to tell whether it was true to size or not. And I haven't tried the 4 so I don't know for sure if that would fit- I might just be between sizes. But I would generally recommend sizing up.

A flattering casual dress
This fit me very well. There is a side zipper, and the button placket is solely for decoration. It got a little matted in the back from sitting. It's a bit low cut so I couldn't wear to work, as I originally planned. The fabric is thick and feels like good quality. Would recommend and rent again.
