Fun green vest
This is a favorite rental of mine. I love the color and the nice gold button detailing. Only flag is that you should wear high waisted pants or have a safety pin to close the bottom of the vest if you don’t want to show skin.

Fun blouse!
This was a nice option for work because it’s a little more interesting than a typical blouse. I will say it took a few tries to figure out how to tie the shirt correctly but overall it was a good rental!

Fairy-like dress
The shape and flow of this dress is gorgeous. I love the sleeves and the way the pattern ripples. I had to pin the neckline since it was a bit low and I wore a strapless bra because the open back showed the straps. One thing I’ll flag is that the shoulders have some structure to it (which was fine) but the material was kind of sharp/uncomfortable. It bothered me a bit for the first bit wearing it but then I got used to it. Overall, would definitely wear this one again!

Ethereal but a bit see-through
As other reviewers said, the material is a bit see-through so I wore shapewear underneath. I tried wearing the dress with the ties in the back as the model wears it but it shows *everything* and felt a bit unflattering. Tying it in the front solves that issue. Besides those two things, I got many compliments from people and it was a very classic look with a summer/spring twist.

Fun summer dress
Loved this dress! It’s super voluminous and the patterns are so fun. I got many compliments on this one. The only thing I’d flag is that the neckline puckers out a bit so you have to be careful not to flash - might be remedied by using fashion tape or a safety pin.

Very flattering fit
Loved the fit of this - super flattering especially for an hourglass shape. The material is spandex-y and light so perfect for summer. One thing I’d flag is that the neckline is a little low (for work) but nothing a safety pin couldn’t fix!

Bold and fun dress!
Wore this to work - it’s a super fun color and I love how the top is kind of like a suit. It definitely is fitted so I’d say it’s true to size or size up if you are in between sizes. The only complaint I have is that the collar around the neck is a bit “floppy” and it got kind of annoying. But overall I really liked this one!

Silky and unique
Ok I loved this dress and am close to buying it! It’s such a unique pattern and is a very luxurious feeling fabric. I also like how the sleeves are a little bell-like and give the dress some more dimension. I highly recommend this one! I feel like it’d be a good fall dress because of the terracotta color.

Super flattering cut
Love the cut of this dress. The way it gathers at the waist is very flattering for an hourglass shape. Compared to other dresses from RTR, however, the quality of the fabric isn’t as good. It’s a very thin, almost cotton t-shirt like fabric. But it was super comfortable to wear!

I looovvveeee this color. It’s a beautiful bright blue and super flattering. The material of the dress is quite heavy - definitely a dress for colder weather. I will agree that the dress is super unforgiving so be prepared to wear spanx underneath if that worries you.

Felt like a million bucks
This was stunning! I got so many compliments when I wore this - people saying I looked so fashionable! I will agree with the comments saying it traps heat so definitely don’t wear this on a warm day. I would also recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes. I think if you order a size too big it would run the risk of looking like a giant, shapeless dress. But the size I got was perfect and felt great all day!

I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I did - I thought that a skirt wouldn’t be anything super exciting. But this one is great because it’s just a little bit more unique than your typical skirt. I also got a ton of compliments even from strangers!

Nice material but nothing special
I liked that the material of this dress was thicker - I agree with some of the comments that the bottom hem flips up so you have to aggressively iron or steam it out. However, it also has the tendency to ride up if you are wearing anything under. I was going to wear tights with it but when I walked the dress clung to it. Overall, it’s a nice dress but nothing special and not something I would purchase.

Pretty but weird fit
I really like the flow of wrap dresses but the one problem I had with this was that the wrap was cut weirdly. I’m not sure if it was the hemming or the angle of the wrap part of the dress but I just found it a little weird compared to other wrap dresses I’ve worn. That said, I loved the pattern and it was super flowy, which made me feel dressed up for work!

I wore this one to work and loved it - felt professional with a sweater and black suede boots. The only thing I will flag is that the slit in the back runs a bit too high for my personal preference - but it’s not super noticeable so it was my only minor complaint.

Comfy winter dress

Top way too big
I’m not sure if it was just the model I had but the straps were HUGE on the medium. The busy area was also really large even though I don’t have *that* small of a chest. Really bummed because it’s a beautiful dress! I would recommend sizing down at least one size:

The best thing I’ve ever worn
I’m so tempted to buy this!! The second I put it on I knew it would be a favorite. The material is silky and I honestly felt like I was wearing pajamas. I dressed it up with heels and Pearl earrings and felt very put together for work! The one thing is that the top part was a bit big/a little low cut so I got a safety pin and pinned it so the neck went higher up. Seriously - love love love this one!

High quality blazer but runs small
The second I took this out of the garment bag I could tell how much nicer the fabric was compared to any blazer I own. It’s a super beautiful and fun print and pretty thick fabric. However, it does run a bit small, especially in the arms and shoulder area. I’d definitely size up on this one.

Loved the way this dress flows - it is incredibly flattering. I wore it at work and felt very put together. Only flag is that there is a slip built in and it’s quite a bit shorter than the flowy fabric. That said, the flowy fabric is pretty long and relatively opaque so it still felt work-appropriate.

Stunning fabric
Love the pattern of this dress. I could really feel the quality of the fabric too. It was super comfortable and stretchy so I felt good wearing it at work all day. My only issue was that for *my* body type I think I would have liked if the bottom of the dress was a bit more fitted than A-line. Overall, this is what I’d consider the perfect rental dress because it’s something I wouldn’t necessarily buy myself but I had fun wearing it and got several compliments as well!

Not what I expected...
First of all, this dress is really cute and I loved the lace. However, Neither of the sizes worked for me. I do have to say I have large hips so I'm not sure the cut of the dress was great for my body type. I didn't end up wearing either dress (size 42/44) because the 42 was too small and the 44 just fit really awkwardly (the material bunched at the bottom and the top was too big). Also, the slip was very tight (tighter than the dress) so I think that made it hard to put on. The color in the picture is pretty white but in person the dress was more of a cream colored with yellowish detailing.

Beautiful dress!
I wore this dress for senior honors night at my school. It fit great! The length was perfect and it wasn't restricting at all in terms of tightness. The fabric on the top of the dress was a little loose, but overall the dress worked wonderfully! However, I could see how people could have issues since the SIZING IS BY UK SIZES!!!!! I tend to wear either a 4 or 6 and the size 10 worked great!

Disappointed.
I have to say I was kind of disappointed with the dress. I ordered two sizes (38R and 40R) but only the 40R arrived. It looked really unflattering on me (though that might be because I wore the larger size). I did not end up wearing this dress. I didn't like the material or the pleating on the front of the dress.

Like other reviews have said, the straps are a little long, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a few safety pins! I'm 5'8" so the dress also was a little shorter than I was expecting. SO pretty and unique for prom!!
I rented this dress for prom and it was perfect! I also rented a red strapless dress but I decided to wear this one partly because it has straps and also it is really unique. The fabric was really light and silky and perfect for a spring day. I ordered a 4R and a 4L but ended up wearing the 4R so that I wouldn't risk tearing the bottom. It was a little short (I'm 5'8") but I'd rather it be too short than dragging on the ground. Overall, the experience was great and I really recommend this dress for any formal spring/summer event!!!

I didn't think I was going to be able to wear this dress. I had ordered it to come on the 23rd of November, but FedEx messed up so it didn't get to my house until the 24th. However, it all worked out so I got to wear it to the dance at a local club (not like a dance club but a country club). I got a medium and a small, but ended up wearing the small because it seemed to fit better. I wore a normal bra with it but pinned the back so that it wouldn't show. It worked well. The best thing about the dress was that no one else had it! I also loved the material (it was very soft). This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway, and definitely won't be my last!
