The 8 was barely too small, the 10 was barely too big. Definitely order a size down for back up.

very forgiving, but size up for backup if you are self conscious about your tummy.
beautiful dress, the rouching is very flattering. However, if you have a tummy, size up because it definitely clings to your skin and your spanx .... No getting around it.

This dress is perfect for a work event that isn't quite business or cocktail attire. The dress is incredibly flattering. I have a bit of a tummy, and a lot of hips, and you couldn't even tell while wearing this dress. It's very fitted at the chest and waist, but very comfortable as well. Because the fabric is so thick and sturdy, you don't have to wear spanx either. Highly recommend this dress. Wish I could keep it.
