I generally prefer natural fabrics but rented this dress "just to try on." The second I put it on, I knew it was perfect for our Zoom courthouse wedding. Wore with black combat boots and got married in the forest, just the two of us. Super comfortable, lace is structured but soft. I can't wait to see photos all the other pandemic brides I know will rent this dress!

I typically wear between a M and a L, so I went with the L on this dress. The sizing is super weird with this style. I understand how it is supposed to fit (trapeze, flowy style), but I felt as if I needed to be about 6 inches taller (I'm 5'4") and my shoulders/back 6 inches wider. The seams at the shoulders fell far down my arms, yet the actual arm fit just fine (wasn't too tight or loose). I feel like it was made for a somewhat slender, athletic giantess. I was so excited for La DoubleJ, but their sizing is so inconsistent and just weird for any body type aside from a very tall, slender person. I will be trying the Medium, but I fear the issues will just be in different areas of the dress.
