I normally wear a size 14 or 16. I got these originally in an XL and they were super big. The XL is comparable to a size 2X or 3X. I returned it and should've gotten a medium but instead got a large which was also too big. I did wear them but they hung off of me and we're not very flattering. If you're 14 or 16, I recommend getting these in a medium.

This is a snug body-con dress. I got into the dress but it was tight for me so I was not able to wear it. I will definitely rent it again after dropping a few pounds.
