Beautiful, vibrant dress
This was a last minute replacement for one of my options on a television shoot. I think if I had ordered one size up, this might have made the cut, but the 6 that I ordered didn't fit. It is very beautiful and I'll try again another time.

Modest and glamorous elegance
Renting this for "work" is because I'm fundraising talent for PBS. So I have particular requirements: dress needs to be modest enough that it can be on PBS, I need a place to hide a microphone, and it needs to be a solid color. This dress was all of the above, and I would also wear this for a real life event! I sized up a little to give myself extra room for the microphone pack, and it was really comfortable. Some girlfriends also said that it gave my "girls" a little more oomph than in day to day life, which is not a bad thing!

Demure elegance with a little sparkle
I rented this dress to tape the national pledge breaks for Downton Abbey on PBS, so I had very specific needs--I couldn't have anything low cut, white or black or patterned. I needed a way that a microphone could be clipped on, so nothing backless, and I wanted sleeves because of personal preference. To say that this was limiting would be an understatement! This dress fit the bill--I sized up because I had a 1-inch thick microphone pack on my back, but otherwise, the 4R would probably have worked. The only thing that I would have changed was that the ruching across the tummy, while flattering when standing around, looked wrinkled on camera. I, and more importantly, my producer, was happy with this dress!

Unique style, comfortable dress
I rented this for an awards event related to work. This was my back up, and I ended up not wearing it, only because I didn't have someone to help me zip it up at my hotel! Otherwise, it fit very well and was elegant. It was a little long for me, even with the heels I had with me (about 3-inch), so shorter renters might want to plan for tall heels!

Comfortable, elegant dress for PBS!
I wore this dress to host the Downton Abbey Season six post-premiere recap show for Masterpiece. I know that's not a typical event, and I had some pretty specific needs: couldn't be low cut, had to be a solid color for the camera, needed a place to clip a microphone. This dress met all of those needs, and was incredibly comfortable (forgiving!) and fit beautifully. I will post additional pics I hope when I get the production pics back!

Beautiful fabric and interesting silhouette make for a unique dress!
Loved this dress! I rented it for a professional cocktail/dinner party, so I was looking for something modest yet unique. The brocade on the dress isn't as heavy as you might think, and the hemline is very interesting to stand out among the usual cocktail dresses. I normally would wear a 4 or 6, so I was concerned about the size, but this was the only one in stock. The size 12 was a little large, but not noticeably so. I would rent this again, probably in a size 10.

Good balance of bold and elegant
I was happy that this necklace didn't feel as heavy as it looked--it added a nice boldness to my neckline, but because they're pearls, it still felt very elegant. I'd rent this one again.

Lace is SO stiff!
Rented this dress for a professional cocktail/dinner party and was surprised how very stiff the lace was on the dress. It stood out from my body with no drape at all. Edges of the lace got caught in the underlining. While the dress fit fine, I just couldn't wear it because it added at least 5 pounds to my appearance because of the lace.

Draping is too complicated
I agree with a couple other reviewers that the draping on the neckline was just impossible to get to look right. The fabric is a little too stiff for the drapes to fall gracefully. After messing with it for at least 20 minutes, I gave up.

Appropriate for formal-ish event for work
One of the conferences I attend usually has a semi-formal event (black tie optional). It's always a struggle to find something that's work acceptable but still dressed up. Plus, because there are photos, people always remember what you wore last year! This dress was a little tight in the sleeves, but otherwise fit well. It has a little stretch to it, which makes it a little more comfortable than it looks. I don't have much of a defined waist, so I would have liked a little more detailing at the waist, but otherwise, I think it was fine. Not an "OMG fantastic" dress, but classy.

Comfortable dress for awards program
This dress is very comfortable, but runs a little long--with 3 inch heels, I was hitching this dress up all night. I think it made me look a little "hippier" than I am, but the other dress I rented didn't work at all, so I went with this one. The color is beautiful.

Stunning gown, easy to wear
I rented this gown for a formal gala at a conference. I love that I can have my rentals shipped direct to my hotel! This was a very comfortable gown with a little bit of stretch, which makes it pretty forgiving too. It was not too revealing, very elegant, and I got a ton of compliments. It was also great for a quick change--I was in meetings until 30 minutes before I had to be at this event, and literally changed in the restroom next to the ballroom! Would rent this one again.

Short waist but still pretty
I was pleasantly surprised by the drape of this heavy lace. Even though it's kind of thick, it flows very nicely over the body. My issue with the fit was that the waist seemed a little high--not high enough that I thought it was intentional, but about 1 inch above my natural waist. This was my back up dress, so I wore the other, but I would rent this again.

Very comfortable dress for an outdoor wedding
Loved this dress and would rent it again. Fabric is medium weight, but not too heavy for an outdoor wedding in LA. It got up to the low 90's, but thankfully was down to the 80's by the time of the ceremony! Liked that you can use a regular bra with it, as it has the little thread stays to hold the straps in place. Contrasting gold zipper is also a nice touch.

A couple of the nominees asked me, "What designer are you wearing?" :-)
Rented this for the 2nd Annual Buckey Awards for Excellence in the Arts. I was the "red carpet" reporter interviewing nominees as they arrived and winners as they left the stage. I got a ton of compliments on this dress and felt appropriately "award worthy!" I was a little wrinkled by the end of the night, but otherwise still looking good!

Elegant and comfortable
I got a lot of compliments on this dress, which I wore to host a PBS concert. (Detail that not a lot of people need, but I could wear a wireless microphone with this style.) The deep navy is a nice alternative to black, even though some might think it's black. The zipper was a little sticky at the ruching, so it's probably helpful to have a helper to zip up. (I had to stretch a lot to get the zipper to go on my own!) I wore this with 4-inch heels, so the length was perfect. Would rent this one again.
