True to size but not flattering
Im a 32F and athletic build (145lbs). This was a cute dress but it tends to wiggle down with time and the sash was very unflattering.

I do not have an apple shape, but this dress made me look like i did! Sizing is off, too.
I was too big for the small and too small for the medium. It could have been uber flattering, but instead made me look wide and fluffy. Awful fit. And note that there is gold threads throughout so this is not appropriate for day time.

Beautiful details, day to evening dress
this runs small in the hips and large in the waist but it stretches so I would size down. It is not a cocktail dress- this is more for work or a work related event. Beautiful details and super thick material.

Unexpectedly gorgeous
This fit beautifully and was figure hugging but somehow looked great. It's lined and very very nice material. Very elegant and simple.

Favorite dress I've ever rented. Wish I could buy.
Lovely fit and forgiving fabric. Great for winter and fall- good with tights or without. The color si great for brunettes- surprisingly. I am very fair with blue eyes and brown hair and I got so many compliments. Love this dress!

Awkward fit
I am a 32F and this dress was so awkwardly fit on top that it barely covered me. It wasn't too small it just didn't fit and made me look chubby.

Great fit, nice details but be careful about undergarments
I am 5'8" 140 lbs and a very athletic build. I wear a 32F bra and have big thighs. I was surprised to wear a small in this dress but it fit great. I loved the look of this and it was great for a wedding where a high neck and long sleeves were more appropriate. Luckily the material and fit kept it from being boring. Keep in mind a couple of things- you cannot wear spanx underneath this because of the material on the thighs- they will show right through. So do not get this dress assuming you can wear spanx, you absolutely cannot. And a bra is tricky, but the right shade of nude will work.

Beautiful dress but it was two sizes too big. I followed the advice of other renters- wrong. I'll have to re-order a 42 to see if this will work.

Perfect Bat Mitzvah/dressy couples dinner dress
I think this dress has unfairly gotten a bad rap. First- I am 5'8" and I weigh between 135-140. I usually wear a 6 or an 8 in dresses. I have muscular thighs and I wear at 32F. I routinely wear a 4 or the euro equivalent in Narciso Rodriguez. Always go down at least one size and for this dress. Otherwise the armholes would look very odd. Another thing, the tag goes in the back, the center hole is for your head (even though it's tiny) and the two holes on either side are for your arms. Don't worry about how they look, just do this and THEN once your head and arms are through, pull the LEFT shoulder seam to the midpoint of your upper left arm. Then, pull the bottom hem down just past your knees. The dress will look AMAZING- it's just a tube- but if it's fitted enough it will stay in place and look very sheik. But if you don't get the first part right and the size is too big, forget it, it will be a mess.

Fabulous style and not too risqué
This is the ideal garment for something sexy but appropriate. The hem goes to the knee and it covers the bust area completely (I am 32F). Unfortunately my dress arrived with a damaged hem and I had to repair it. Other than that- great dress with beautiful thick fabric.

Gorgeous, just not on me:(
I am 5'8" 140lbs. I wear a 32E or 32F bra. I couldn't zip the 4 closed and the 6 was too big in the waist. Beautifully made and elegant but does not show your figure if you are busty with a small waist- makes you look straight down. I felt chunky in this dress and I am anything but that.
