Perfect dress for the black tie event I rented it for. I'd say this runs true to size or slightly small, so I would recommend renting your normal size and sizing up for the backup. I wore the 4, which was just slightly snug around the hips, but the 6 had too much extra fabric in the middle for me. Other than that this dress was comfortable, flattering, and photographed well. Definitely would recommend.

The photos made this dress look nicer than it did in person. I expected cocktail dress material, and it felt like a sweater dress. While it was definitely comfortable, it honestly looked cheap and I could never have worn it to a wedding or formal event...maybe a dinner party or something. I was very relieved that I rented a backup. Just keep this in mind depending on the event you are renting for!

Great dress and amazing color! I read the reviews and knew my right arm wouldn't be able to do much but it wasn't a huge deal. Fairly true to size, but I would size up for your backup and decide from there. Overall a huge fan of this dress and would wear it again
