This dress was one of my favorite rentals ever. The sculptural details are a show stopper. Was it hard to breathe in? Sure, but worth it.

Beautiful dress, no back zipper
The color and material of this dress are wonderful. You stand out in a sea of LBDs. Getting into and out of it is murder. I practically had to dislocate a shoulder! Why oh why wouldn't they have a back zipper on this thing?

Bad darts ruined it
I love Shoshanna. I was so looking forward to this dress. And then I tried it on. Why, oh why would you put two darts right at the chest area? It looks like exaggerated nipples, you guys. Maybe if you have less of a bust or more of one, it works better. It was so comical I couldn't wear it once.

This dress was amazing and fun to dance in, but that SLIT! it wasn't so scandalous on the 6, but the 4 I wore it was at my naval! I had to fashion tape it closed so I didn't flash everyone when I walked. But the dress was beautiful and such a stunner.

UK sizing so choose wisely
I should have realized that these were UK sizes listed, not US. I got an 8 after reading that the dress fit small, and couldn't zip it past my ribs. After looking at other Solace dresses on RTR, realized that a 8 UK is actually a 2-4! Got the 10 and it fit like a dream.

Showstopper for work event
I wore this for our "Back to the Future" themed annual meeting at a fun new kid's museum (that's why I'm standing next to a DeLorean), and it was the perfect mix of whimsical and stylish. The event was also streamed virtually and the dress really popped on camera. The only drawback was the lack of slit in the back, which made getting up and down on stage a bit of a challenge. But other than that it was a smash hit.

Ho-hum-hounds tooth pattern not stand-out enough
I loved this dress in theory, but on it just looked okay. The blue side panels don't focus the waist in like you think they will, and the houndstooth pattern make it a bit stodgy. Couldn't find a way to style this to make it work for me. Ended up not wearing it.

The make and material of this navy dress makes it really stand out. Great over jeans and a tee
The open front and longer back make this jacket a little harder to pair with sheath dresses and work wear, but it's more relaxed material and structure make it a fantastic staple to pair with jeans, statement tee, and booties. Beautiful, curve-hugging sweater dress
The fit, shine, and pattern detail made this sweater dress a great choice for an awards event. Loved the weight and the feel of the material. Definitely good for colder weather. I think the metallic material and form-fit of this one makes it a little too much for the office, but it's a great work party/event dress. Would rent again.

Cool take on the LBD
This was the perfect choice for an arts event; really beautiful structure to the sleeve and the slits at the ankles added a fun focal point. No one else had anything like it. It does run snug, and no give. I should have probably either gotten a 2L or 4R but didn't have the option; the 2R worked but was hard sitting for long periods of time. Totally worth it for all the compliments!

I LOVE this dress. The material, draping, and side/back details are stunning. I ended up going with a more conservative pick for a work event, but will definitely find a place to wear this dress in the future; it highlights curves in the best way. Fit really well, and had good stretch.

Fresh and innovative take on the LBD
I wore this for a big work event and it did not disappoint. In the sea of LBDs, this pantsuit with peplum detail and great material/fit stood way out. The diamond collar necklace was the perfect accent for my event, but I can also see some great colorful jewelry/shoes working as well.

Slit makes this style un-workable
I did read all the reviews, but thought maybe black opaque leggings or leather leggings would make this work, but nope. It's not just that the slit is high-the slit is open to the top of the thigh, so even standing still it calls a LOT of attention to your upper leg. Ended up not wearing it.
