Fits small, didn't wear

Perfect versatile jacket
Casual or dressy, this jacket has you covered and it will match a million things. It's on the warmer side, so unless your office is freezing in the summer (that happens!), you may want to reserve it for winter/spring/fall. I'd rent this one again.

Too long on a tall girl!
I have literally never met pants that were too long without the "long" label. I am 5'8" and constantly frustrated that pants aren't long enough, but these were too long for me to wear! I'd say if you're 5'10" and prepared to wear them with heels, go for it. The pants themselves are really nice and they looked super cute otherwise. I really wanted to wear them. :(

Versatile denim blazer
I wore this a couple of times because it's easy to dress up or down, and it's a great way to look instantly more put-together. It does tend to get a little wrinkly, but nothing I was too concerned about. Would be a great piece to have in your closet.

Gorgeous blazer, bold pattern
This is a beautiful, well-fitting blazer. I didn't get a chance to wear it because it didn't look right with the pants I have, and the ones I ordered didn't fit. That said, I'd consider renting again. I sent it back with the tags still on it!

Fantastic dress, casual or dressy, quality
I almost bought this dress, I loved it so much. I kept it two months and wore it several times. It can be dressed up or down, with dressy shoes and tights or some chunky white sneakers. It hugs your curves without highlighting anything you don't want to because the material is high quality. I loved the button detail along the side of the skirt, too. I'm sorry my photo wouldn't upload, just trust me, it's really cute and fun to wear!

This is a great classic, looks dressy and put together for the office without putting in much effort. I love a short skirt, but as I'm mid-40s and work in a relatively conservative corporate office, I wish most of the dresses on this site had 1-2 more inches of fabric. :-)

Versatile, quality layering piece
I love this jacket! I almost kept it, but ultimately decided to pass. It's dressy but more comfortable than a traditional blazer; it's structured yet soft; and it matches a wide variety of clothing. I'd love to see more Madewell pieces for the workplace.

These are old-school, big, heavy jeans without much forgiveness in the waist. I probably should have gone up one inch. I didn't wear them.

Gorgeous dress!
I loved this dress and very strongly considered buying it. It looked fantastic for a presentation at work, and I received several compliments. It's high quality material and looks luxe. I loved how cozy it felt, super comfortable and stylish winter workwear. 10/10!

Fun style, cropped quarter-zip
This is a fun sweater and renting it through RTR meant I tried something I wouldn't normally wear. Is it something I'd wear long-term? Probably not. But my husband liked it and I enjoyed how colorful it was.

Sleeves and skirt too short
This fit me, but the sleeves were quite short and the skirt was too short to feel comfortable wearing it to work. Otherwise it's really cute with black tights and boots.

Fun, cozy sweater dress
I loved the green color of this dress (I have red hair), the long sleeves, and the longer length for winter. I wore it belted with boots. The end of the sleeves has an interesting feature that sort of gets in the way of typing, but it wasn't a big deal. The buttons are a cute detail.

Enormous coat
This coat is cozy and stylish, but WOW is it large. Maybe I'm not used to the oversized style? I did wear it once, and it looked nice with a knit dress, but the long, rolled sleeves are cumbersome. I have long arms and they felt ginormous.

This was too big for me, and when I paired it with the jacket, it looked like I was drowning in the heavy fabric. I like the idea of it, and it could just be a sizing issue for me.

Voluminous but on trend
These are lovely dress pants, just know they are very wide leg and the pleats add a lot of volume. I didn't end up wearing them because I didn't have the right pieces to style them and the matching blazer made the outfit look huge on me. I felt like I was in a costume.

Strange fit
I really wanted this dress to work—the pattern is so fun! No matter how I wrapped it, it fit me really funny. The way it buttons inside is strange and I couldn't get the chest area to lay normally. Maybe it was my body, who knows! Might work better if you have a smaller chest.

Torso was too long
I have long legs and relatively short torso, I guess, because the torso could have been several inches shorter on this dress and it would have fit me much better. It might just be the style of the dress. That said, it’s comfy and I did wear it once on vacation.

Funky fit, lining didn't lay flat
I really liked this vest. However, I ran into two issues: 1) I'm a little too busty for it to drape nicely like it does on the model; and 2) the lining inside the vest was bunched in one part and could not be straightened. That made it look lumpy on me regardless. That said, it's a nice style overall—I really wanted to like it more than I did.
