Too short
Normally I like this designer / type of dress have rented similar in longer versions before. But this one was just too short. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it anywhere. Went back unworn. 2 more inches could have made it!

It was a tiny bit baggy but otherwise was a great layer for cooler trip to London. I was also able to put a jean jacket over it. Wore with white jeans mostly.

Fringe friendly
I rented a different sweater once where the fringe went all the way down the arm and the fringe kept dragging thru thru things like kitchen work. So I like this one because the fringe is limited to the upper part of the sweater.

I know commenters talked about an itch, but I thought of it more similar to dry skin, vs a tag that you just can't not feel. I actually didn't really notice. I wore with tights and able boots. Comfortable and polished.

I wore this while traveling on flights, with tights, very comfortable. The fabric is thin (also not hot) so if tight can see tights at waist but I wore a waist coat so it didn't bother me.

I think I could have gone with a Large and been fine. I wore it with a cream turtleneck and jeans, worked for cold day in a drafty space, and still fit under my winter coat. The wrists are cinched.

It crept up at the waistline, so felt like i was pulling it down a lot. Otherwise fabric was nice, forgiving, and great way to add some color. Wore with a black blazer and jeans.

Better than I thought
I was ready to send this back but had nothing else to wear to Easter brunch and much to my surprise my friends liked it more than me. It felt massive on bottom but I guess the defined waist made it seem not too baggy. It was a tad tight in the waist but other wise fit.

For a nice event
I got compliments on this at a reception our company hosted. I was a bit self conscious about the low depth in front, but wore a neutral bra and hoped for the best. The gold buttons are an elegant touch. It traveled well in my suitcase and still looked crisp after sitting for a fair bit.

This rental was bold for me, wearing big pants like this, and high waist, but when one of my design colleagues gave me props, I knew I had to get past my hesitation and embrace. I wore with a sleeveless knit black top, tucked in, and colorful flat slingbacks.

Wore to a play and industry member event. I had a hard time with shoes, but I think that was b/c of the transitional spring/winter weather, not the dress. It was a bit tight in the abdomen due to my perimenopausal belly weight shift, but fit my bust and hips just fine.

I like this and the red one, may purchase one. The dress is snug but forgiving, bc the material is thick enough, but not too stiff. I pair it simply with black tights and black booties or colorful Oxfords.

Surprises most people...

I've rented this before, got it for another event. The back is open but not too open, one might not notice a nude bra in back. The Upper snaps at neck pop open easily, my only multi readjustment. Otherwise comfortable for event wear. Wore with black opaque tights and black velvet wedge ankle booties.
