If you're looking for a great black dress that is unique, fitted, but classic... this is your dress. I have rented this 3 times prior but always went with another dress. I'm so glad I listened to my gut and finally wore it. I'm very pear shaped and the top fit perfect. I can't imagine someone larger than a B/C making this work. The material is more or a crepe than a cotton but super lightweight to wear for an outdoor bridal shower - it was probably 95°! The sleeves don't budge which always make me worries with off the shoulder dresses. The eyelet trim is so subtle but beautiful. It ran true to size, no spank needed, and long enough for my 5'6" frame. The only complaint would be to watch the slit - it puts Angelina to shame! It goes all the way up to the waist line. I'd suggest double stick tape so you don't have a peep show!

I had eyes up this dress for months and loved the way it fit. I was between the 8 and 10 and ended up going with the 10 since it's more fitted in the hips. I have a very small bust so I wasn't worried about showing too much up to. You'll definitely need fashion tape. If you're taller than 5'6" I'd suggest going a size up for length -I could only get regular. The material is stretchy, heavier > lighter (but still able to wear spanx), and able to dance all night. This was such a fun rental! I ordered both the medium & large because I know Free People runs more loose. I'm extremely pear shaped and the medium was perfect.
