I got this for a bday party in Miami, it's Killer on - and by that I mean it looked fantastic hot however the shoulder straps were killer on my shoulders - it dug into the tops of my shoulders a bit but I am going to try to remedy this trying to cushion it underneath. I believe the reason why this occurred is because I wanted to order the S but it was not available so I got the XS... Pretty sure I would not have had this issue if the S was available. I had my friend help me zip it up because there is practically NO give when you get to the cross area of where the black line is in the circle. If you read this in other reviews those people were not exaggerating! Once on, it's SNUG but it did feel much better after wearing it for 20-30 mins and I can't tell you how much the pattern and the way this dress is cut will flatter your body, other solid color Herve's definitely show more of any body flaws you may have. All in all I think this is a great dress and would rent it again but only in a S with this particular design as I can wear an XS in most Herve designs. If you are thinking of renting this dress I would do a size up for backup if they have it available and if they dont and you have to get the next size down - watch that top rib area and have someone around who can assist you for getting past that one point. LOL For reference - I'm 108lbs 5'3, 34b, 25in waist and 34 hips.

I got this dress for a wedding in New Orleans - this was my backup choice too but I ended up loving this one so much I went with it. I'm 5'3 105lbs 34b 25 waist 33 hips and wore this is a size 0. It is extremely flattering on, the neckline is low but in a classy sexy way if you have a smaller bust - perfect for a size b. The back of the dress is equally stunning, wore my hair up to showcase it. Worn with a 3inch silver strappy heel the length in the front was perfect, however this does have a slight train so watch out for people stepping on the dress. I received compliment all night long in this dress - its very GLAM! It also photographs very well from any angle and is super comfortable! Love love love it!

I got this for a wedding in New Orleans and thought this dress would be the perfect choice due to the print and color and I love mermaid dresses! Sadly though - this dress runs large in the waist and hips. I read the reviews beforehand and figured Vera runs small so best to go up a size.. I should have stayed with the size 0R. I'm 5'3 105lbs 34b 25 waist and 33 hips - the length was perfect with a 4 inch heel. I wish this dress would have been more fitted in the waist and hip area but it was too baggy in a 2r - the bust however is VERY FITTED and im a 34b if that tells you anything. i was able to zip up both the inner zipper and the outer on my own with no problems but the bust was definitely SNUG...also note that the dress is supposed to be fitted down to your knees so the walking space is limited, overall though I thought it was a beautiful dress but needed it in a 0. I would recommended if you are similar to my build that you go with a 0 and a size up just in case. I went with another dress option I had picked out and that one fit like a glove! I would rent this again but in 0R for another event. lesson learned.

I got this in a size 0 for a friends wedding - weekend in New Orleans and it was fantastic! I'm 5'3 105lbs 34b 25 waist and 33 hips and felt like it was a touch loose but that was fine cause it made for a super comfortable dress! It is more fitted in the bust and hips and the waist area is loose, i think thats just the way the dress is supposed to fit though. It's the perfect combo of classy and sexy without being too over the top. I'd definitely would rent this again for a cocktail party. I styled this with gold pumps and a gold clutch and simple earrings - the dress itself is a total statement piece so I just let it shine on it's own. The color is a vibrant gorgeous blue - I must've had 15 people compliment me on the streets so it's a definite head turner if you're looking to be noticed and remembered!

I wore this to a holiday party and I don't think I've ever received so many compliments on any dress I've ever worn my entire life! This is definitely an eye catcher. I literally had people complimenting this dress from the time I got out of the car til the time I left! No joke!!! It was kinda like what... is this a keeper!??? I wish I could have kept this dress because it is seriously a stunning dress! I will definitely have to rent this number again for some other occasion down the road. I did not have a problem with the sequins scratching me at all. It is a very comfortable dress and very flattering as well because it shows off your curves. I will say initially I felt like this dress made me look wider than I am but I quickly got over that because it just lends to a womanly curvy look and I am not a curvy kinda girl! I think this runs true to size- stretchy material conforms to your body like a glove! It's a heavy thick well made dress but once its on it feels great. I'm 5'3 105lbs 25in waist, 33 hips, 34b bust. I ordered a 2 and a 0 but wore the 0 because the fit was much better so in this number I would say order your normal size and a size down if you're looking for a more fitted look. I did need help zipping up the size 0 though but that was due to the sequins which made it a little tough to self zipper. Anyways - if you're looking for a show stopper cocktail dress - this is definitely it!

I really liked this dress on and it looked gorgeous as it was very flattering with my skin tone but I ended up going with the Nicole Miller Living a Dream dress instead for a wedding I was attending. I would most definitely wear this dress for another occasion but out of the two dress I had to go with the other one as this was my backup choice. This dress does run small so I suggest getting your normal size but also a size up just in case. I got the 36R and it fit but it was very snug. Also this dress wrinkles so make sure you have a steamer ready as well.

Ok this dress hugs your curves and gives you such a beautiful shape it literally is like you've put on a dream! I wore this to a wedding and received a ton of compliments all night long, sooo wish I could have kept this number because it quite honestly has to be the most flattering dress I have ever put onto my body! This dress does have stretch to it but it also has boning in it too which poked me when I sat down but it was nothing I wasn't willing to deal with because the dress was so gorgeous on! First off let me just say that RTR came thru like heroes during Hurricane Sandy and I couldn't be more grateful! I originally ordered 2 dresses to be delivered however both became unavailable due to the storm, but RTR contacted me and allowed me to pick out dresses regardless of the price for replacement!!! I was beside myself when this offer was made and chose this beauty of a dress!!! I am 5'3, 34b, 115 lbs, normally a size 2 or 4 and wore the 4R to a beach wedding. I wore a 4inch heel with it and it was the perfect length. The color photographed more on the purple side but the dress is the color shown on the website. The detail of this dress was AMAZING... truly a stunner in person! I received so many compliments on the dress all night and even more so on the customer service with how RTR came thru in a pinch! It was painful to return this dress! Anyone looking for a stop you dead in your tracks dress - this is it! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! <3 Thank you RTR for an amazing dress and impeccable service!!
