I absolutely fell in love with this dress. With delicate shimmering lace, a sweetheart bodice, and open back, it is sexy yet elegant -- perfect for a black tie affair. Complete strangers approached me to tell me how beautiful I looked. It made an already-lovely night that much lovelier. Now for the fit of the dress itself. I ordered two sizes: a Size 0L and backup Size 2L. Thank goodness I got the backup!! While the Size 0L surprisingly fit around my birthing hips, it did not fit my already-tiny 32" bust -- a problem I never have. I had to size up to the 2L just to fit my itty bitty 32Bs. So if you're a bustier gal, this dress might pose some problems for you. As other reviewers mentioned, the dress has a built-in bodice, though I still wore a strapless bra nonetheless.. As for length, the dress has a modest train in the back, which made climbing stairs difficult. I'm 5'7", and even in my tallest 5" heels, the length was tripping me up. The fabric doesn't give much, and the cap sleeves can limit your hands-over-the-head motion, but unless you plan on doing the limbo in this dress, you'll be fine. I was still able to shake it and break it on the dance floor, no problem.

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding, and it was a knockout. Knowing that Vera Wang gowns usually run small and are designed for stick-straight girls, I was nervous my butt would be too big. But to my surprise, my usual dress size (size 2L) fit just perfectly! In fact, the waist on my 26" waistline was even a touch too big. As for length, I am 5'7", and in 4" heels, it was perfect. One word of caution: the description describes the fabric as "stretch faille." I warn you it DOES NOT STRETCH whatsoever. So be extra careful when ordering your size.
