I usually wear a large. Maybe an XL for something with less give. This XL was too small to even zip.

Definitely recommend making sure you have someone in your life to zip it for you. I was worried it didn't fit but it's just very difficult to zip alone. It actually fit perfectly for the most part. It was pretty short. I'm 5 ft 6 and it reached just a few inches below my bottom. It wasnt tight anywhere except the chest, where it kinda flattened everything out. But it was still cute.

I would say if you're going to wear this in a conservative area (west Texas for me) invest heavily in dress tape or better yet go with a different dress. It took a lot of work to get it to even sort of cover my chest. The day I wore it for happened to be the 2nd windiest day of the year in the 6th windiest city in America... being a wrap dress I'm fairly positive I may have accidentally flashed a few people my undies getting in and out of the car. Had to hold on to the bottom half of the dress any time I stepped outside. And last but not least the dress is apparently sheer. I didn't notice when getting ready to go, but someone else commented on it after the evening.

Maybe I just wore it wrong but it was very tight. I don't know that I have a particularly thick neck. Average I'd say? Probably wore it wrong. Ended up not using it for the event.
