Got compliments all night. Wore on one of the coldest nights of the year. Fit great with room to move my arms and also not rise up. Would purchase for my closet.

I don't think I can name any cons at all in this dress. Perhaps I would've argued that it's not my favorite color but it looked great on my tone and literally the detail in this dress was too good. The sleeve is actually fitted, it's lace but you can't tell because of the chiffon bishop sleeve over it. It's amazing. I wish I owned this dress tbh. 

I really loved the color and fit of this dress. It was easy to wear, and while it wasn't my first choice (or second or even fifth!) it ended up working out well given RTR's embarrassingly low inventory on more exciting dresses. My only complaint is the too big collar, which was flimsy and gave a "bacon-neck" effect. Other than that, I got tons of compliments and enjoyed wearing this.

I rented this for a winter work party.  Great fit and very comfortable for dinner and dancing, yet work appropriate.  I rented both the size 0 and size 2.  Tried them both on and could have went with either.  Went with size 2 for the extra room in the shoulders.  5'0, 105 lbs., and 30 DD bust.  Sleeves fit perfectly.  Length was great.  If you are tall, it could end up a little short, but if you are petite and on the shorter side, it was great.  

I loved the details and it was very easy to wear. I could fit in the 2 and 4 easily. I wore the 4 to church just bc it was a teeny bit longer.  It was a different style then I usually wear but I was very glad I tried it!! I would get it again.  

I rented this for a country-ish fall wedding and got a lot of compliments on it. It's pretty structured, so I was able to eat/drink and not worry about looking bloated. I'd wear it again! 

I fell in LOVE with this dress! It's totally not what I would reach for in the closet, but I loved it more for that! So unique and flattering, this dress was a perfect fit and made me feel amazing! Honestly, I'll probably rent it again, I loved it so much! 

Would recommend this dress... high quality lace details and very well made.  I normally wear a size 4 and this size 4 was snug, but did not look or feel too tight.  There were multiple layers of fabric below the lace dress to hide my mid section (which made me feel confident because I have a 5 month old and it hit my mid section and arms while still looking fitted).  I also could wear a normal nude bra with it with thin straps and they did not show (so did not have to wear a strapless bra).   I also ordered the size 2 , which was very tight ... I'm curious how the size 6 would have fit so in hindsight would have ordered the 4 and the 6.   Received many compliments at a winter wine party.  Fun wine burgundy color ... not normally a color I would have purchased,  but fun for the night to break out of the little black dress routine.  It was chilly that night,  so I wore with black tights and booties...glad I had tights on when I sat down because it was pretty short.  This dress would also look great in the Fall with nude booties!   I'm 5'6" and 125 pounds, small chested (34 A/B) and size 4 worked. 

Rented for a 50th birthday party.  Beautiful burgundy (maroon) colored dress.  The lace and see through top adds just enough to keep this dress simple and sexy!! I'm usually a size 10 (5'2, 155lbs, 36C) decided to go with the 12 so I would have some wiggle room after dinner 😊!  My hubby said buy this dress!! 

Dress runs a little small. I have a large bust and had to smoosh it in the dress but other than that it looked great! It was flattering and comfortable and I received tons of compliments all night!

This dress fit well, not extremely tight (actually the material is pretty giving) which was great for my post partum body (belly).  I ordered the size 10 and 12, and while the 10 fit perfectly, it was extremely short so I wore the larger size. I am 5'8 and wore regularly tall heels - if I would've gone for the smaller size I probably would not have been able to sit without flashing someone!  Zipper is slightly difficult. Otherwise great dress for a January wedding - the sleeves are gorgeous in person!

I absolutely loved this dress! I just had a baby and was still bouncing back and this dress was a beautiful shift dress with the right amount of ornate features (the lace and sleeves), while also hiding some problem areas for me. It's a little bit heavier material, so perfect for a spring/fall wedding. I would rent again! 

I went 1 size larger after reading comments about the length. I found this dress fit perfectly and was comfortable all night.

I really like this dress and so did everyone else. The pictures don't do it justice. The sleeves are lace as well with chiffon over them. I rented the 8 because 10 was not in stock other than that I'd rent it again.

I rent a lot of dresses from RTR but this one received a ton of compliments! The detail is just gorgeous and it was perfect for a winter wedding. It's a little on the shorter side so be cautious of that. I am only 5'5 and felt like it could be a hazard when I bent down to put on my shoes. It was comfy and kept me warm in January. 

Gorgeous, delicate, unique, trendy, subtly sexy... This dress has it all except for length! I was only able to wear this a gorgeous dress because it was a date night (not a holiday party) and I had a fresh pair of black opaque thighs! 
If your 5'6" or SHORTER rent and enjoy this one of a kind dress!!

Gorgeous deep dark red, maroon. Beautiful lace. Shelli Segal knows how to hang a dress. They all fit the same. They are sheath and flattering!!  Good quality. I wore for family Christmas. Easy to wear. Normal bra is ok. Comfortable. 

Wore this for Christmas Eve and got so many compliments. I would definitely order 1 size up. 

I rented this as a backup for a formal event but instead wore it to work on Halloween - and it was great! I loved all the lace layers, the beautiful color, and the amazing construction. I truly thought about keeping this one it was so lovely. 

The dress did run a bit small in some areas - I suggest going a size up, with this dress a little bigger is better. Loved the sleeves -flows but high enough that they didn't get in your way. 

I am 5 ft 2, 125 lbs, and I ordered the 2 and 4. A lot of my weight is in my butt and thighs.  The 2 fit and wasn't too tight anywhere, so I went with it. I am very happy that I chose this dress. It was flattering, relatively comfortable yet elegant, and it was nice to have long sleeves on this chilly December day in New York. All of my pictures look great. This was actually my first time using Rent the Runway, but I suspect it wont be my last. 

This was my backup dress and I decided to wear it to a Christmas gathering with my family. It was very comfortable and fit very well. I felt really good in it. It is very short though and I wouldn’t wear it without something underneath. It was cold so I went with cream leggings and boots. I would rent it again. 

I wore this to a birthday party at a private club in the city and was complimented on it.  It was true to size and was very comfortable.  It is well lined and even lined inside the sheer fabric on the sleeves.  It kept me warm despite temperatures in the low 30's - which might be a problem if you're going somewhere that you'll be dancing a lot.  The only negative thing I can note is that the dress rides up pretty high when you sit down and there is no adjusting the dress to overcome this.  I had to keep my completely opened dinner napkin over my lap to feel less exposed.  I would definitely rent this dress again given the right event. 

Perfect dress for family pictures!  It ran short so I wore the bigger size and it was a little looser but didn't look bad!  Gorgeous color! 

I thought the dress ran small and thankful that I sized up. Loved the lace detailing and the arms weren’t crazy puffy. It is a short dress and I had to wear tights as I was at a work event. Loved how the dress gave me full coverage but still looked amazing at the same time. 

Loved wearing this dress! I received so many compliments. I like that it's not a tight fitting dress and it was pretty comfortable. It has so many little details. Only con is it was a bit short.

It perfectly fit the look I was going for and had beautiful lace details. I didn't find the fit and shape of this dress to be very flattering though. It was pretty boxy and baggy in the tummy area, which (I thought) made me appear larger than I really am. 

Overall, beautiful dress for a certain venue/occasion and a particular body-type other than mine. 

This dress was perfect! Beautiful color, lovely fit, understatedly sexy- I got compliments all night. I normally wear an 8 or 10, and I needed the 10  in this dress. 

Dress was flowy and comfortable for photos. The color is gorgeous! It was a little short when sitting but appropriate length when standing. 

Snug thriugh bust area but thatnis just my shape. It fit great in the waist and hips. Definitely mini! I’m 5’4 and it hit me at mid thigh or just a little above. Looked great with boots

I wore this dress to my brother's wedding. The fit was dead on! I felt amazing, light, and comfortable in this dress. It's just the right amount of revealing while still being classy. I absolutely loved it and received tons of compliments on it.

Wore for a fall vineyard wedding and loved the color. It was certainly warm -- there is a lot of fabric in the sleeves. I think it was the slightest bit big, but it was comfy so I didn't mind. I wore a normal bra of a similar color, and while the straps showed, I don't think people really noticed. There was a bit of weirdness with the zipper in the butt area though -- the zipper bunches and creates a weird bump.

Good fit, and such fun sleeves! Felt very dramatic, 70’s, like Stevie Nicks. The lining was very nice and the details are all great. Would love to own this!
