A Rabanne 6 usually fits me like a glove but this skirt was strange--a very high almost loose waist, paired with the hip size I expect. I made it work, but you can't do something form fitting or tucked in on top

Unusual Rabanne Sizing
Size up. This dress fit smaller than others in Rabanne's same range. I've worn the side ruched skirt and the other dress--5 lbs heavier!--and they were fab and flattering. This dress hugged in the wrong way.

Gorgeous skirt
Gorgeous skirt--my husband, who's used to my champagne taste said, as we were walking into dinner, You can tell that's a big deal designer. It looks expensive and well made. Definitely a winter garmet--very heavy lined velvet--and it runs small. Rabanne usually fits me perfectly but I think the thickness of the fabric may have bulked up the waistband. I could get it on but would have been more comfortable one size up.

Sexy Elegance
This is a gorgeous (revealing) dress. I wore it to a late night party, where it was just right, but it would have been too revealing in other settings. Big busted ladies, beware! Like most ALC dresses I've tried, the cups on this dress are WEE. I wore a bra with interesting halter straps underneath to provide more support--otherwise my Ds would have been spilling forth.

Small in the Chest
Don't believe the *great fit* hype. This is an adorable dress but my poor 34Ds overflowed the small recommended. I'm a true 6 and should have sized for my chest not my waist. The straps are also quite short, while the dress is otherwise a balloon. Wish I could have worn it.

Beautiful Dress. If you're over a C-cup it's TRUE TO SIZE
The other reviews misled me into ordering a 4 instead of my ordinary 6. The smaller size was fine in the waist (though I suspect the 6 would have been fine as well), but the 4 was hard to zip up over my 34 Ds and committed the egregious sin of "boob squoosh" according to my hubby... lol. Anyway, don't size down if your girls are bigger than Cs--your boobs will thank you.

Sexy Little Number
This dress made me feel like I was twenty six again in the best way (but also in the... are they going to think I think I'm twenty six?... way). The cut of the neck and ruffle sleeves was super flattering to my wider shoulders and the lightly quilted fabric created a structure that forgave any issues in my tummy and hips. Not too short--even though it gives the impression of too-shortness. A really well-made dress!

This dress was... odd. I ended up not wearing it out of the house, as it made me look like molten Christmas. I would not recommend it if you have boobs. Possibly the volume and the neck (which really must be buttoned all the way I think? It doesn't fall well unbuttoned) would look chic if you have a thin, straight build or carry ALL your weight below your waist.

This dress is *very*. Very yellow, very sexy--if you want to stand out... you will! Like most wrap dresses, it's busty--the girls will be on display if you're more than a C cup, but not in a bad way. I turned more heads in this dress than I have since I was in my 20s.

A beautiful modest dress for a formal(ish) evening
I wore the dress to the opera, and it was perfect for the occassion--demure but with some drama, thanks to the full (and long) skirt. I'm 5'7" and needed tall heels to wear the regular. The structure of the top gives up at the lower rib cage--which would have been wonderful if I were in a more flowy mood. Cinching it up with a soft black belt better suited the occassion though. It's also a bit tricky to accessorize--the neckline isn't friendly to necklaces--so be sure to have a big bracelet and statement earrings to get the dress out of dowager territory (unless that's what you're going for!).

This dress does run a touch small... it's very form-fitting--which I don't mind--but it was tight across my shoulders as well as my tummy. It's impossible to zip up by yourself, FYI. I didn't want to send this dress back. It's gorgeous and super flattering on my hourglass frame. I'd say it runs very slightly small--so if you're between sizes I'd go up. The fabric is heavy-ish; I wouldn't wear it on a humid summer day.

A beautiful bobo look
This is a fabulously comfortable maxi-dress for summer with a gorgeous, luxe bohemian vibe (p.s. definitely a maxi, not a midi as it appears in the photo--I'm 5'7" and it hit the floor, even when I wore heels). There's nothing there through the cleavage area, however, so be prepared with undergarments! A slip does ship with it, but I found it overly opaque, with a too-frumpy neckline that clashed with the dress itself. A low cut sheer black slip was just the ticket.

This is a gorgeous and unusual dress! I sized up because of other reviews that said it ran small through the bust, and I'm a 34D--it's true that it's hard to zip, but once it's on, you need the extra snugness to keep the dress up without resorting to the un-chic straps. Next time I rent it--and there will be a next time--I'll go with my true size and hope I don't have to do quite so much tugging.
