Fabulously formal little back dress
After trying on countless RTR styles, returning them, and reordering more, I finally settled on this beautiful design. I was dead-set on a one-shoulder gown for a recent beach wedding. I was torn between this Slate & Willow or the Aidan Mattox Black Bow Gown. The Aidan Mattox and I didn't see eye-to-eye as the slit was inappropriately too high for a formal affair, and it just seemed cheap in person. This simple black gown makes quite the statement which is exactly what I was going for. I received compliments all night long. The dress's fabric is a semi-thick classic matte black, semi-stretchy, and flows in all the right places. The stretch in the fabric showed off my curves, and the supplemental fabric on the shoulder formed a flower-like pattern. The majority of the dress is simple clean lines like the back, top, and bottom, but the front abdomen is slightly ruched. I wore the dress with 4" heels, and the back of the dress gathered and followed behind me just-slightly on the ground similar to a small train. Even though the fabric is semi-thick, which helps prevent it from wrinkling and helps the dress hold its shape, I was never too hot thanks to the breezy one shoulder design. It was easy to wear with a well supporting strapless bra, and there were no special undergarments required. I went full Audrey Hepburn with a messy bun and kept the accessories simple with a small pop of color (magenta) in my heels, lipstick, and earrings. Although I originally wanted to wear my hair down, I decided on an up-do since I wanted to show off the beautiful one-shoulder detailing of the dress. I would absolutely recommend you rent this dress. It is beyond beautiful, and I know I will continue renting Slate & Willow Designs again in the future.

Walking on Sunshine
I had been searching for a casual yellow maxi that could transition from day to night while on vacation, and this Kate Spade was everything i had hoped for. This dress fit perfectly, and it wasnt too overwhelming on my 5'3" frame as some maxis are. The detailled design and true yellow makes this dress a stand out. I wore it on vacation in the humid floridian temps, and i was fine with it because i LOVE the heat, and im freezing below 80 degrees. However, because there is a thick linen liner (which i love and find so rare in dresses today), many might find this dress too heavy for summer wear depending on the climate. I love that it wasnt see-thru in the sun, and that it transitioned so well from day to night. For me, it was the perfect vacation dress and i want one in every color.

Modern LBD
This dress was fabulous! It is a perfect LBD shift with a modern twist. The sequins and beadwork on the sleeves is what really made this dress stand out! I received so many compliments on this dress at a Christmas party, and it was the perfect festive alternative to another red or green holiday dress. I was the first person to rent this beautiful dress, and I was very lucky. The only reason I gave this dress four instead of five stars was because although it was immaculate upon first receipt, after only twenty minutes of wear, the sequin sleeves had begun to pull significantly at the fabric of the dress. I've attached a photo of the end result for your review. I would absolutely rent this dress again, but I'd be afraid of the condition it would arrive in due to the severe pulling I witnessed after only one evening of wear.

These fabulous futuristic earnings were sent as a surprise along with my rental. They were the perfect way to dress up a simple LBD, and I would absolutely rent these beauties again!

Beautiful pattern, soft fabric, and fit like a glove!
This Lilly has been sold out at my local store for a while, so I've been unable to add this gorgeous Gabby shift dress to my personal collection. Thank you rent the runway for allowing me the opportunity to rent this fabulous gabby shift dress. It's vibrant colorful pattern is one of my favorite Lilly patterns and it will definitely make you stand out in a crowd. The slit at the chest is just low enough not to reveal too much. The fabric has some stretch, but not as much as the Lilly cotton T-shirt dresses. If you are bigger in the hips or chest, I'd recommend sizing up one size for your backup. I wore this beautiful dress to a local music festival, and I received compliments all night from everyone in the crowd. I was able to stand, sit, and dance in this dress all night long without worrying that I was revealing too much. I'm 5'3 and the length was perfectly appropriate on me. I will definitely be renting this dress again! RTR please offer more Lilly!!!

Beautiful but runs small
I really wanted this dress to work because it is so beautiful and really fit the theme of the wedding I attended. However this dress is unfortunately not for those who are large in the chest area. My 32 C Bust was not able to zip closed in the size zero regular and barely fit in the size two regular. The length of the zero regular was absolutely perfect for my 5' 3" frame and it fit everywhere else perfectly, except for in the bust. I tried to make the zero work because the length and where the waist hit were perfect. The length of the two regular was entirely too long, even with three inch heels and it positioned the waist far below where my natural waist falls. I wore the size two regular anyway because I did not select a backup dress for the first time with this rental. Aside from the ill fitting of the bust area on this dress, my only other major complaint was the zipper. It seems that the zipper is constantly getting stuck in the lace overlay or the fabric lining the dress near the zipper. This happened with both my size zero and size two dresses so I had to be very careful not to rip this dress prior to my event. Even though this dress is beautiful, I would not rent it again nor would I recommend it to anyone who has a similar body type due to the fact that it runs so small in the bust.

I wanted a pink dress for Valentine's Day and I new I could count on RTR! This dress was absolutely fabulous! I was complimented several times during the evening and it was all about the dress.
The color and detail of this dress was beautiful. The dress is well made and shows. I could not have found a more perfect Valentine's Day Dress for our night out! My only complaint about this dress is that it is not fitted in the stomach/waist. Since I'm short, dresses of this style tend to look like a bag on my small frame. However, this was a small drawback and I felt the lace and detailing of this dress took everyone's eyes away from the looseness of the dress. I also paired the dress with Nude heels to make my legs look longer than they are :) Since the original RTR suggestion was to wear the colorful Kate Spade Necklace with this dress, I chose to wear my own personal earrings that were of similar style. They really made the dress pop.

The bag was the perfect color gold to match my favorite Lilly Pulitzer wedges.
This clutch was perfect for my graduation ceremony. I was very impressed with the size and craftsmanship. The bag fit my iPhone, digital camera, sunglasses with their case, lip gloss and there was still room for more! The bag is very well made and can be worn with the shoulder chain (as a shoulder bag) or carried as a clutch by tucking the chain inside. I would definitely rent this bag again!

I'm 5'3" 105lbs with a 32DD chest. These measurements make dress shopping impossible without the help of tailoring. However, I ordered this dress in a 0 and a 4 (because a 2 was unavailable). The 4 was way to big all around! The 0 fit perfectly! I could not wear a bra but the dress has a built in corset that worked well. I wore this to a wedding and had no problem dancing the night away. It's a very classy dress and I received a lot of compliments. Again, the dress is silver not blue as it appears in the photo. This was my first experience with RTR and after this experience I will definitely become a repeat renter!
