The fit was great and I felt comfortable ... didn't need Spanx, could wear a strapless bra easily, etc. I wore it for NYE and dancing. I was able to dance fine and although it has the arm straps, I could even play darts. Loved this dress. It is a dark navy but much more on the black side than navy. My husband wore his black suit to complement my dress, because his navy suit didn't look as good with it. Highly recommend this dress! I rented the 6 and 8 and ended up wearing the 6. It fit perfectly!

The dress was lightweight and airy and was perfect for a night of dancing! I wish I'd listened to the comments about the dress running large, though. I wore the 6R and wish I'd rented the 4R as my backup. Also, I'm 5'11" without heels and the length was perfect! If I'd rented the long version, it would've been too long.

There's nothing bad I can say about this dress! It fit so well and was great for dancing to an 80s cover band and having a nice dinner out for NYE. It's made of sequins so the only con I can muster up is it may scratch your arms a bit but that's a stretch ... only for the first moments when you put it on. Received so many compliments! I wish I owned this dress!
