Obsessed
Ordered this dress for a March wedding in Estes Park, CO. It was fabulous. So comfortable, perfect length, and loved the overall look. It was a little big under the arm but nothing a little double sided tape couldn’t fix. Would order again.

Showstopper, non-stop compliments
Absolutely love this dress. Wore it to a Mardi Gras themed fundraiser and got so many compliments. I ordered in a 10 and 12 based on other reviews on the fit. Ended up wearing the 12 because the 10 was too tight in the arms and hips. The 12 was a touch big in the shoulders but not overwhelming. And wow is it short. I definitely could not bend over or raise my hands above my head.

So many compliments
Truly obsessed with this dress. Wore it for a formal wedding in January (cold climate) and it was absolutely perfect. The material was soft and not heavy despite being velvet. The open back was a fun and sexy detail. I wore a sticky bra to keep the girls in place but if you’re small chested you could easily go without a bra. So comfortable and forgiving. 11/10 would rent again.

Stand out in a sea of black dresses
I wore this dress to a black-tie fundraiser, it was absolutely stunning and really stood out in a sea of mostly black dresses. I ordered a 10 and 12, and while both fit, I ended up wearing the 12. It was more comfortable in the chest and rib cage. I’m 5’6” and it was a great length with 3.5” heels. It’s marketed as an all season dress but there are multiple layers of fabric on the bottom which made it kind of heavy and less breathable below the waist. Regardless, I loved it and would rent it again.

Obsessed with this dress
This dress was not initially on my radar. One of my original dresses was no longer available and I selected this one as a replacement 4 days before my event. I AM SO GLAD I DID. It’s a little more revealing than I am typically comfortable with but it fit like a glove and I had no issues with it staying put while I danced the night away. My stomach is a problem area for me and the drapey fabric hid all my insecurities and I didn’t even feel the need to wear any shapewear. It’s a thick, stretchy material that I would not recommend for warm climates, but 11/10 would rent again or buy if it was an option.

So many compliments on this dress. Color stood out in a sea of black dresses.
Loved this dress, it definitely ran small so I had to go with the larger size. The only issue was that the top of the dress was stretched out some and I felt like I had to keep pulling it up. Overall, though, it was perfect for my event and really stood out. The turquoise Kendra Scott earrings were a perfect match.

Loved everything about this outfit!
Wore this to a young professionals event and absolutely loved it! Rented the bag and bought similar shoes to what the model is wearing and the whole outfit looked so pulled together and perfect. It was easy to move, dance, and eat in! The open back gave it a hint of sexiness, but it wasn't over-the-top. Would rent this again and again.

Gorgeous dress, but runs so small
Unfortunately I could not wear this dress. It was absolutely gorgeous, but ran SO very small. I have long legs, so dresses tend to be short, but this one did not cover anything. However, in true amazing RTR fashion, I called and they are sending me a replacement dress in time for my event. Fingers crossed it works!

Great dress, but ran small
I LOVED this dress. It was longer than I expected it to be, which was good, because I have pretty long legs. However, it ran really small in the chest and shoulders. I am a B cup and it was tight -- I probably could have gone with a 10. If you have a bigger chest, definitely size up. There's absolutely no stretch or give to the fabric at all.

Stunning dress -- did not want to send it back
I rented this for a Gatsby-inspired birthday party at a trendy prohibition era bar. It was PERFECT. I was a little nervous because my previous experience with Nanette Lepore is that the dresses run very small. I ordered a 6 and an 8 to be on the safe side. I probably could have worn the 6, but opted for the 8 because it was more comfortable. The dress was fabulous. It photographed well, was not heavy or itchy, and was so comfortable all night long. I would rent this again in a heartbeat. The Kate Spade chandelier earrings were a perfect addition to the outfit and didn't take away from the dress.

Not a fan of this dress. It had a lot more tulle under the skirt than I was anticipating and it ran small. I didn't end up wearing it for the event, had to run out and buy a different dress last minute. :(

gorgeous dress -- got so many compliments
I love this dress! The color was so vibrant and could easily be dressed up or down depending on accessories. I ordered it for an outdoor, rustic wedding. Paired it with the Kate Spade triple row swirl necklace and a pair of natural colored, suede ankle booties. It ran a little smaller than other DvF dresses I've rented and didn't really fit like a shift dress, but it still looked great.

Loved this dress so much, incredibly flattering, and I got so many compliments!
The dress is very fitted and there is no give to the fabric at all. I am typically a 6 but the 6 was too tight from the waist up. If you have a bigger chest, I would definitely recommend ordering a size up. Overall though, I love this dress, it was easy to dress up with black pumps or dress down with neutral wedges. I received so many compliments and felt so good in it that I ended up buying it off of the designers website.

I rented this for my annual Christmas Eve party. It was perfect and I received so many compliments!
I typically wear a size 6 but I ordered both a 6 and an 8 to be safe. I ended up going with the 6 and it fit perfectly. The only issue I had was the length. My legs are pretty long and it was a little too short when I sat down so I opted to pair it with tights. This was my first experience with RTR and I was so happy I ended up ordering another dress for NYE; though I would have loved to keep this one!
