I absolutely adore this dress. It was perfect for my black tie optional wedding in Palm Springs. Someone actually stopped me to tell me that they (and their friends) all thought I had the best dress at the wedding. (Aside from the bride, of course.) The top was a little tight, so if you have a large chest, you way want to size up. Otherwise,e an absolutely perfect dress.

Just Enough Sparkle
I wore these earrings with the Monique Lhuillier Tena Gown. The dress was dramatic enough, so I didn't want my earrings to overpower the look. I couldn't be more pleased. It just added enough sparkle and I felt so glamorous.

"You Look Like a Princess"
Wore this to a black tie optional wedding and could not have been more pleased. I got compliments the whole night! At one point, a friend came up to me and said "I'm not going to lie, you look like a princess." Loved this dress and would absolutely rent it again.

Perfect for black tie optional.
I got this dress as a back up in case my other dress didn't fit, but ended up wearing it to the wedding instead. I would definitely recommend this for a black tie optional wedding. It was long enough to respect the dress code, but not so fancy that you felt over dressed. Loved the cutouts and small details, and felt very glamorous all night. I only had two complaints. 1) The dress was quite form fitting, so you would probably need some spanx to make it bump friendly. But the fact that it was black made it more forgiving than other dresses. 2) It was tight around my hips and knees. Which was fine when I was standing around, but made it much harder to dance. But otherwise, it was a prefect dress.

Bottom half was beautiful. Top half not so much.
I'm generally between a 4 and 6 for most dresses here. I rented this with only a 4R available, and saw all the reviews, so I knew I was taking a risk. Luckily, I had rented another dress as a backup, and wore that one instead. The bottom half fit and flowed beautifully. The design felt very glamorous, and was perfect for a black tie optional wedding. But the top was far too tight, and far too low cut to be that tight. It both pancaked and exposed my chest in an exceptionally unflattering way - and caused some unintentional exposure once I bent down. Perhaps a larger size, and some fashion tape would have helped, but I didn't have the time or patience to try it out for the whole night.

Glamorous and Comfortable
Wanted something that would look elegant for a Fall evening wedding, but also have enough room to dance - this dress was a perfect fit for Got this dress as a back up, but decided to wear it when my main dress was a little too constricting. The fit was extremely flattering, and very very comfortable, without losing any of the glamour I was originally going for.

Great dress for a night out in the city!
I got this dress as a back up for my bachelorette, but decided to wear it out once I saw it on. The dress could not have been more flattering. Cut in all the right place, both sophisticated and sexy, and perfect with a pair of black heels. . My only compliant was that the dress tended to pull up a little high if I wasn't watching. But that may have been more about my dance moves than the dress.
