holy shit, I loved this dress
I really did feel like the best-dressed guest in this gown! Yes, the fit is SNUG, and restricting on the arms. It was difficult to do the clasp on my necklace!! Lifting one arm at a time was okay, so I felt like I could move enough on the dancefloor, haha. But like others have noted, it does wonders for an hourglass figure, and the color is stunning. I'm 5'2" and even wearing quite tall platform heels, I needed to use fashion tape to shorten the hem an inch, but this was a great fabric and cut for hem taping, so don't hesitate if you're worried about it being too long! VERY DIFFICULT TO ZIP. Pulling the zipper over the bottom edge of the bodice seam was hard. I think maybe because it runs small, people have been yanking on the zipper a lot and it is starting to warp? I had my husband to help me, but almost went out into the hallway to find a random person to provide another set of hands.

huge on top for petites
I'm petite with a small chest, but I was not expecting quite how poorly this would fit me. It fit okay, maybe a little snug at the waist and hips, but the top was just ridiculous. You need to be tall *and* have boobs for this to fit as intended. If you have one or the other, maybe it could work with some safety pins and/or fashion tape.

BEAUTIFUL necklace
I would love to buy this if it goes down in price. Such a beautiful necklace. I liked that it was adjustable, and that the adjustable chain was prettier than average. Looked very luxurious and was the perfect thing to wear to a black tie wedding with my off-the-shoulder gown.

You need big boobs and small hips
I'm 5'2" with a small chest, small waist, and bigger hips. This fit fine at the hips, almost too tight, but the top was huge. I think if you were tall, you would still need some bigger boobs to fill this out. I did not wear this.

Seems like this would be a great dress, if you are 5'4" or taller. I'm 5'2" and the material wrinkled in the chest from the dress being too tall.

I think it's hard to tell in pictures how much the bottom section of the skirt flares/ruffles out. I rented it to wear to work, but it ended up looking a little too flouncy to be professional for my tastes. Not the most flattering dress of all time, either.

For tall, waif-ish French girls
Okay, so the thing you need to know about this dress is that it is NOT supposed to be super flattering. It is for an impossibly cool, Alexa-Chung-type lady. The waist hangs loose and low, it is supposed to give a cool, gamine attitude. However, I am 5'2", so even the XS just makes me look like an actual child whose mom bought her too big of a dress. If you're tall enough, you could probably belt it and it would look nice enough. (Or maybe I'm wrong about all of that and the sizing is just insanely off.)

Cute dress but not the most flattering.
The waistband is cut kind of high...not very flattering in the waist. The dress itself is suuuuper cute, though. So that redeemed the dumpy proportions. You might want to wear a slip -- the eyelet ribbon running down the bodice and around the skirt has actual holes with no backing.

Nice material, but it bunched around the hips -- didn't end up wearing it.
