Hangs weird, couldn't wear
Beautiful color of gold with lovely tiny sequin pattern, but odd fit for me. I'm a size 10 hourglass borderline pear; and the XL dress was the right size up top, but too big in the bottom (never happens to me). There was a weird amount of extra fabric bunched up over my booty in the back, and the dress was hanging right onto my front tummy pooch in an extremely unflattering way. I would never have been able ro pull off wearing hose. I'm 5'9.5" and the dress fell below my knees--almost tea length. It seems like i ordered the dress too big, but I doubt I would have been happy with the next size down. Will not try renting again.

I love this dress. High-quality, thick, flattering fabric and amazing, dramatic cut as others mentioned. It is true to size as long as you follow RTR's guidance; I'm an exact US10, and the UK14 fit perfectly. I needed to style it casual, and I was self-conscious about my winter tummy pooch; so I wore a draped sweater vest with Spanx tights and sweater booties. Unfortunately after styling the perfect outfit, I noticed an oil stain right in the middle of the chest; so I couldn't wear it out. I'm on unlimited and will definitely try again.

Fun for Christmas elves!
Runs small--which I knew because I tried it on in the store. My measurements are 37-29-40 (exactly size 10), and I needed every bit of the XL--usually wear L in dresses. Nice, thick winter fabric with fun puffy sleeves. A little short for me at 5'9.5" with a bubble booty; but that was fine for social wear with opaque tights and leg warmers. Wore this to decorate my Christmas tree and renting again to wear on Christmas day!

Different!
Super modern and comfy. Wore to work with black turtleneck and tights underneath. It was just barely long enough for my conservative office with the tights; I'm 5'9.75, and the skirt fell about 4 inches above the top of my knee. Runs very large and baggy and felt kind of like wearing a barrel or a costume of some kind--in a fun, good way! Fabric wrinkles very severely. I steamed the dress twice before wearing, and it was completely wrinkled all over again after my 15-minute train ride. Despite all of that, I would definitely rent this again on unlimited. The unique shape, texture, and colors are very fun to wear.

The wristlet style chain on this is amazing--as are the blue color and yellow gold shine. The leopard print is great too; be warned it is just a tan and brown pattern--no black at all on the purse. Fabulous and fun!

Delicate, modern, and easy
These were great earrings. Not heavy at all and easy to wear with lots of things. They have yellow gold, silver, and kind of a black metal mixed in; so you don't have to stress about clashing with your other hardware. I love the little stars! Not something others will notice, but definitely a great choice if you're trying to put some more daring pieces together.

Tight in the booty
Too tight in the butt for me to wear. I'm an 8/10 and rented the 10. The waist fit loose, and there was plenty of room in the thighs; but the butt part was too tight. I could have gotten away with wearing it but decided against it. Beautiful fabric and texture could go with a lot of other items for many different occasions. Sad that my butt is too big for it. I'm pretty sure the 12 would be way to big in the waist.

Frumpy
This dress is very well constructed, but I thought the bust was too high-necked and tight for me. All together was too old-ladyish for my taste. Definitely beautiful fabric and details though. Maybe would look more edgy/current on a thinner, straight-up-and-down body type.

Fun for work!
Very comfy with Great details in the ruffle and sleeves. Sleeves and shoulders are slightly transparent, so I felt like I needed to wear a cami underneath for my conservative office. Cut of shirt is not very flattering from the side; so it might make you look like you have a belly pooch in the front. That didn't matter to me, so I enjoyed it.

Great for work!
Thick material, flattering flare cut. Wore with a black blazer, tights, and booties in January. Perfect! Even though the dress has short sleeves, the fabric is probably too warm to wear in anything but winter.

Not for big hips
Awesome print, but fabric bunched up around my waist, clung to my lower hips, and sort of loosely elbowed out at my thighs in a very unflattering way. You might be thinking: "she probably ordered too big because the stretch would have solved those issues." Not so--there wasn't much stretch to the dress which surprised me based on the fabric and designer. Also the high neckline and chest were super-tight, creating kind of a chest-flattening effect. Not good on me. I think this might only work on very thin, straight-and-narrow types.

Amazing and modern
I ordered this probably two sizes too big--otherwise would have loved to have worn it. (I ended up wearing the pink cold shoulder dress by the same designer which was awesome!!) made me feel like a sexy person who came here from the future! As others noted, there's a risk of showing too much under-boob when you raise your arms, but otherwise flattering and classy. Sheer netting is darker in real life than it looks on the model. Between that and the high waist, this dress is a relatively conservative way to do a midriff-showing dress. Could work on a lot of girls.

Cozy & sphisticated
Nice, warm, mid-length blazer that can be dressed up for work or down for jeans. Colors in the sophisticated, distressed tweed are winter white, black, and taupe (more rosy nude than brown); so very versatile for matching in cold weather. Zippers are shiny silver. (I'm trying to give details about colors in my reviews because those are the notes that help me!) If you're borderline sizes or want to wear this over something bulky, size up. I'm a tall 8/10: The 10 is slightly snug on me when zipped up (not too snug though), and the sleeves are on the short side. Fun fact: the interior lining is made of grey sweatshirt material! I'm looking forward to wearing this to work! Not sure if I'm going to neutrals or black underneath since both will work.

Too big for me, too low-cut for the office
Sleeves are cool, but the large was way too big for me in the waist. (I'm a big 8/small 10). The medium would probably fit, but it wasn't available on unlimited when I rented this. I won't be trying this in another size because the stitching seems kind of cheap (triple exterior stitching is frayed/coming out in several places on this one even though the dress looks brand-new), and the neckline is too low-cut for my job and my taste. That could be fixed with fabric tape though. The sleeves and skirt are nice and drape-y, just not enough to love about this dress to try again.

Cool for someone else's body type
I really love the color, unusual fabric, print, and warmth of this winter dress. Trendy and could be great for the office on someone shorter and apple-shaped or someone straight and narrow. I'm a tall, hourglass type who usually wears 10s and 8s. I typically pick 10s for work for a more conservative fit but picked the 8 based on the other reviews. The 8 was HUGE in the hips and midsection, almost too tight in the neck and bust, and the arms were too short (granted I have fairly long arms). I could definitely still wear it to the office with a jacket to cover the arms, but I'm going to return without wearing since I don't love it. If you're on unlimited, go ahead and try it. Would be perfect on the right person!

Perfect for a party
Big, sturdy party purse. Plenty of room for all of your stuff and none of the difficulty keeping it closed that you get with a lot of party clutches. Great with and without the strap. The strap on the purse I received was silver metal and black leather. (I saw some other photos with a strap made of the same white material as the purse, but that's not what I got--which was just fine by me.) The main color of the purse is off-white in case you're having trouble seeing it in the picture.

Sexy, classy, and unique
This is my third Chiara Boni rental, and--like all of the others--this dress fit perfectly and was super sexy and classy at the same time. This one is great because you step into it and pull it up; so--unlike with the other dresses--you can do your hair and makeup before getting dressed. I wore a strapless bra, but you could probably wear a regular one if you taped the straps down. Since it's very cold, I also wore pantyhose--which put a flaw in the silhouette. If you can skip the hose, I recommend it. The dress is stretchy and firm like spanx, so you don't need additional shapewear. I wore black and silver accessories with a black manicure for edge. I felt modern and sophisticated in a sea of black dresses. Don't rent this if you have any upper arm flab. I don't really have flab on my arms, but the top of the dress accentuates the fleshy skin on the back of your armpits. Did tons of tricep exercises and self-tanned the week leading up to my event and felt great!

This dress fit well, and the pockets and hemline are cute. However, the high neckline and very plain torso area need something that I didn't have. Wore to work with a black, corded sweater and mother-of-pearl jewelry. I would have liked to have worn a belt, but the hemline and pockets make that impossible.

Love the fabric and sleeves. 4 stars because it's a little short for work since I'm 5'9.5"; however high neckline, pearls, and black tights made it ok. Fabric and neckline aren't something I'd wear casually. Could be good for church or a concert. Good for fall and spring only. Flattering silhouette. Shoulders fit well too.

Great color/not so great fit
I loved the color on this, but I found the high neckline and other details too matronly. I'm a taller hourglass-type, and I thought this made me look like a shorter pear-type. Didn't wear. Could be good for someone older and more conservative. Would look better on a petite, straight-and-narrow type.

Just peachy!
As others have noted, color is very peach and corner sides (which look awesome) are open enough for lipstick and change to fall out; so you'll want to keep your stuff safe inside in a little baggie. This is made to convert into a little backpack, so there are buckles on the back side which look kind of odd--but that didn't bother me. Definitely made my outfit and my day!

Sexy & classy
Structured details but stretchy and extremely fitted. The fabric is thick and hugs you just like spanx. I'm a size 10 and 36/38 C; I didn't wear any undergarments except a thong, and I felt totally comfortable. You'll look super classy and understated while still sexy and daring. I wore this with burgundy suede ankle-strap heels, a trapezoid purse, and a leather artisan cuff. I felt awesome and received compliments all day and night. This is my second chiara boni rental, and I think I'm falling in love. Both dresses have been perfect for curvy, tall women with a little "junk in the trunk." I don't think this would look as good on a short-waisted or straight-and-narrow type.

Print is really interesting, but fabric has more of a slick sheen than you can see in the photo--makes it look retro/cheap depending on your point of view. Runs very large. I'm right on the border of sizes 8 and 10. The 10 was huge. Since it was too big, I just sort of looked like a big rectangle (and I'm very curvy). Maybe a smaller size would have been wearable.

Nice if a bit frumpy
High-end fabric and well constructed. Too matronly for me--maybe exacerbated by the fact that I ordered too large. I'm right on the border of an 8 and 10 because I'm big hipped. I was swimming in the 10; definitely should have ordered an 8 and might have been able to make the 6 work since the skirt is so roomy.

Beautiful print on shiny, light silk
I'm a tall, hourglass shape; and this dress was very slimming and flattering. I felt beautiful and received a lot of compliments. The fabric and print are amazing. The dress is so thin that it feels like a nightgown, but somehow still covers up lumps and bumps; so it's perfect for summer. The print is just beautiful (much better than in the pictures). You could wear this dress to a lot of different types of events and still be comfortable and appropriate. My only complaint is the length: I'm 5'9.5". I tried the 10L on in the store, and it was way too long--even with 4/5" heels; so I ordered the 10R. Even in flats, the 10R was too short--fell just atop my feet. I went ahead and wore low, strappy heels anyways since I was going to a formal event. Floor length gowns are supposed to just hit the floor; so neither length in this would have done that for me. I'm fairly sure taping the hem of the 10L wouldn't have looked right due to the thinness of the fabric. Regardless--this is the most beautiful thing I've ever worn!!

Too conservative to wear to a party
Great quality! Neckline was too high and shape too conservative to wear for the fun event I was going to. This would be a great dress for a work-related affair. I'm a curvy size 12; so this dress was tight in the chest, very tight on my butt and thighs, and too loose in the stomach. If I had just planned to stand all night, I would have considered wearing it. The butt/hip area was soooo tight sitting down, but the fabric looked great and hid my imperfections. I loved my backup dress and wore that. If I had to wear this one, I'd wear a belt. I would consider renting again for a work event if I lost 10 pounds in my lower body.

Beautiful! (And short)
Very comfortable! I had a lot of fun wearing, but would not rent again because it was so short. The demure neckline and detailing prevented the shortness from making me feel trashy. The flattering fabric and liner hide all of your imperfections really well. When the dress arrived, the taffeta was all tangled; so the already very puffy skirt was super puffy. I spent a lot of time steaming and untangling to make the dress look like the picture. I wore sparkly, blush-colored accessories. I saw that a lot of people wore it with nude shoes, but I really didn't think nude or navy blue looked right. This worked great for a fancy Christmas party; but you could wear it in any season.
