Loved this dress!
Fun and flirty and the high-low is a great option for us shorter gals who worry about length on rentals. The fabric print/pattern is fun and it fit well except the straps in the back were quite loose. The only complaint is that another gala attendee was wearing the same dress and two others were wearing the same dress in a slightly different print/pattern. It would be nice to be able to track rentals for events!

Amazing fabric and POCKETS!!
Loved this dress - the fabric is beautiful and much lighter weight than I expected! And, POCKETS!! Also the cut allowed me to wear a regular bra - which for an all-night event was truly appreciated!

Beautiful color and very full skirt!!
I didn't end up wearing this dress, but tried it on. The fabric and cut are fantastic. I wasn't a huge fan of the cutout in the back, but a cami took care of that and added additional coverage in the front. It was a close runner-up to the winner and would recommend this dress for a formal ball.

Beautiful blue colors, and amazing lightweight silk!
The dress was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. The colors are great and the cut is interesting and new. I loved the lightweight silk and the ruffles! The only drawback is that there is a slit under one of the ruffles, to allow easy movement and sitting, but it flaps up when walking at a brisk pace and is a little high. Would have preferred the kick pleat in the back or on the true sides to avoid this.

It is beautiful, but the fabric is a bit sheer and light weight - shows every bump and bulge!
I really wanted to love this dress, but I just couldn't get it to fit right. I ended up wearing it, but was not 100% comfortable. The fabric is a very lightweight crepe - if it is sunny out, definitely wear a slip! And, it shows every bump and bulge. The color is amazing! Also, the cut is a little wonky. The wrap cuts Super low so I ended up wearing a tank underneath and using a safety pin.

Beautiful - sad I couldn't wear it!
It ran very small and I was unable to wear this dress. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer embroidered sleeves - I don't know why I didn't notice this before renting. They were beautiful!! Unfortunately, the dress runs small and I was unable to wear it. If I could have sized up, I would have. It really is quite a pretty dress!

Great color and just the right amount of shimmer.
Loved this look. The fabric is fantastic, and the jacket is quite lightweight which made it perfect for wearing in Houston where the weather is completely unpredictable and the air conditioners are running nearly year-round. This is a fantastic piece and I would not hesitate to rent this again! Loved it!

GREAT color and pockets!!
This dress is light and airy and has POCKETS!! The color is fantastic - lots of positive remarks. It is one of my favorite everyday rentals. It did come without the belt, but they warned me of that at the time of shipping. Worked well even without the belt. I would buy this dress.

I LOVE this gown. The fabric is stunning, and the floral is AMAZING!
It is quite snug in the corset area, but that made it feel extra secure and I was not concerned about it falling down or slipping at all. The skirt is full and flowy and was extra comfy for a 3 course meal and a 3 hour long opera following. The fabric is silky but substantial. The floral pattern is unique and interesting with a lot of depth to the design. I highly recommend this gown and look forward to renting it again.

I bought this dress from the clearance event (and am thinking about the full-length gown now, too!). It is a beautiful dress, great fabric, fun cut! I love that it is a bit of a high/low and the pictures don't do the gold lace justice - it is thick and intricate, and very pretty!! I am short, so will need a minor bit of tailoring on the top bit to make it perfect on me, but have already worn it without edits. Love this dress!!

The dress is quite pretty; lightweight and fun and flirty silhouette!
Loved the color and the cut. Unfortunately, the plastic zipper didn't hold and opened on the back of the dress right after I zipped it up. I was really disappointed not to get to wear this dress and really wish that designers would use more substantial metal zippers on formal gowns that are intended to offer enough support to not wear a bra. The plastic zippers just don't cut it when you are 'gifted' in that area! It is quite pretty. The color is great and the cut is super fun. On my 5'2'' frame the back *almost* went to the ground, but the hi-low makes it super easy to walk. And, it has pockets!! The fabric is lightweight, perhaps a little too lightweight for my taste. On me, the pockets were noticeable when I had my phone and lipstick and small compact in them. Having rented other dresses with pockets, they seem to work better when the dress is constructed with more substantial fabric. Overall, I liked the dress and wish I had had a chance to wear it!

Super cure - Navy/Black is one of my fave combos and this dress made it fun with stripes!
The cut and fit were very comfortable -great dat-to-night dress. The flounce/ruffle on the sleeve and skirt are fun and flirty. My only complaint is that the backing of the fabric on both the flounce on the skirt and ruffle on the sleeve is white! It would be a perfect dress if this were lined in black or navy like the rest of the dress. Because of this, I won't likely rent this dress again. It is jarring to see the bright flash of white every time you walk or move your arms. Without this problem, it would be perfect!! Perhaps in the spring when black tights, etc. are no longer a thing... maybe.

The cut is amazing, the crepe fabric is forgiving, and while I was worried it would be too short, the length ended up perfect on my 5'2" frame. Excellent Day-to-Night dress that can be dressed up or down. Would rend this again or buy it once it is available. Super dress!

The color and fabric are amazing, the fit was great, and the ruffle was a fantastic detail!
I would rent this dress again or buy it when it comes up for sale. The fabric was stiff so it held its shape really well and the ruffle also held its shape - not floppy or sad looking at all. I was worried that it would be too short, but it hit right above my 5'2" knee. The sleeves were a little long, so I cuffed them up and it was fine. If I owned it I would have them altered shorter. The neckline is perfect - I was worried that the nearly raw edge would be scratchy but it wasn't . A great dress - Highly recommend.

The dress is perfect - I ordered a size XL because I wanted it to be extra comfy and as long as possible (it looked super short in the pictures). The fabric was super light - not what I was expecting - but it has been unseasonably warm in Houston so it was perfect. The sleeves are super fun and I loved the neckline. But, the color is what is really special. The inky blue is PERFECT!! I highly recommend this dress if you are looking for something easy and comfy, but that has some real visual interest (sleeves) and that is cut well and doesn't wear like a sack or a mumu.

Runs small - if there was a size-up, I would reorder it!
Unfortunately, this runs super small and getting the zipper up over the seam is difficult. We got it zipped, but as soon as I bent over to buckle the ankle straps on my heels, the zipper pulled apart and I couldn't wear it. For such a structured and fitted dress, the zipper was flimsy and plastic. The cut of the dress and the red color were beautiful, though. If they had a size up, I would re-order it!

Dress is beautiful! While orange not red, it is well made, fits perfectly, & the hi low is fun!
I did not end up not being able to wear this dress though loved trying it on. The skirt fabric arrived *very* wrinkled. But, I had ordered it well in advance of the event so figured that by hanging it up, the wrinkles would fall out over time. It did get a little better, but by the time the event came around, it was still too wrinkled to wear. Perhaps if I had had a steamer, it would have worked. I was afraid to iron it. If there were instructions on how best to get the wrinkles out, I may have loved wearing it! It was a fun try-on and fit perfectly.

I liked the dress, but wish I had ordered a size up.
It was really form fitting and rode up a little when walking - I was constantly pulling it down, back in place. I would order a size up if I rent it next time. I also didn't realize that it had see-through mesh panels. I wore a cami under to cover these. Overall, great color, great fabric. Loved the flirty hemline. Would be great for a party!

I wore this to HGO's La traviata; it was perfect!! Comfortable to eat dinner & sit for a 3hr opera.
The fit was perfect, true to size. The pockets are a real bonus! I will be looking for this dress in final sale - I loved it!! And, I am not sold on the high/low style now. All the glamour of a full gown, with none of the hassle, weight, and tripping hazard. Loved this dress!!!

Wore this to a work dinner. LOVED the lace. Would rent this again!!
The lace is beautiful as is the fit. My only difficulty is that the slip underneath is *very* short and it rides up if you are wearing hose/tights. I was really glad that I was wearing opaque tights because after walking from dinner to the theater, the slip was almost up around my hips! If I rented this again, I would definitely use a different slip. Also important to note, the lace is not stretchy. I was sitting a lot s did the sit test a few ties before committing to wearing it.

The length and the lace were amazing. I would consider buying this dress and keeping it. It was classic and comfortable. It was a little warm, good for winter or cooler weather. The bodice is strong enough to not require a bra. I loved this dress and will rent again!

I wore this for opening night of Julius Caesar at Houston Grand Opera. It was perfect!
It was the first night it turned a little cold in Houston, and this dress worked perfectly without a coverup. Warm, but not too warm. The dress was heavy, but I was mostly sitting, so that was A-OK. The sleeves were a little long for me, but it looked ok - I just opened the wrist zippers so it fell flat over my hands. It was the perfect length for lower heels, to fall to the floor, but not hitting the ground. The lace does not stretch, but the measurements fit well and the bodice was tight enough that I didn't need a bra. Ended up wearing some nude shapewear to smooth out curves, and it went higher in the back, but still looked ok since it was near-skin tone. The purple liner was a nice touch, making it more special than a plain black dress. Would definitely rent this again.

The fit was perfect. Just enough weight to feel substantial. Loved the pockets. The hem grazed the floor and was a perfect fit with 3" heels on my 5'2" frame. The size was true. The only flaw was that the hem was really worn and fraying. I found myself tucking it under a few times during the night so others wouldn't see when we were standing and talking. Overall, I loved this dress and would rent it again!
