So low cut
I couldn't wear this. I read others' reviews but foolishly thought I could make the low cut bust work but no amount of safety pins and tape could even come close. Fun, pretty print but just not proportioned well for most people, especially those with smaller chests compared to the rest of them.

Thicker material than I realized
From the color and cut of this, I was expecting it to be more like a lightweight sundress, but it's thicker and a bit less casual than I was looking for. As others have noted, the color is a very pale, grey-ish purple and while I do like the color as a color, I think it would look better on deeper skintones than mine (for reference, I'm usually the second-palest group of foundation shades). It does look white from a distance so I'm not sure most people would want to wear it to a wedding or any event where you're trying to avoid white. It's comfortable and generously cut from the waist down, but runs comparatively tight in the bust, so be aware of that. I'm a B cup and would definitely not need (and probably couldn't even use) a bra with it. Petals would be completely sufficient, if anything is needed at all. I didn't end up wearing this (I got it on Unlimited) for my intended purpose but could see trying it for the right event in the future.

Easy & attractive
This is a really perfect guest-of-wedding dress. It didn't wrinkle, so it traveled well in my suitcase. You can wear a regular bra with it (and it has the clips to hold the bra strap in place) and I didn't need any spanx or shapewear. Long enough (and comfortable enough) to move/dance in. It does run a little large so size down if you're on the cusp of sizes to avoid it being too shapeless. Would definitely recommend and will likely rent again.

Comfortable
As others have said, this does wrinkle rather easily, but that didn't matter to me on a casual summer vacation day. Very soft and comfortable, the pattern is bold and unique, and the straps are wide enough that you can wear a regular bra with no issues at all. Runs true to size and is probably long enough for taller people. Could dress it up or down. I'd rent this again.

Too short
This is soft and pretty, and in terms of width and things like breathability it is comfortable, but I think it's better for shorter folks. I'm only 5'7 and was CONSTANTLY holding it down to keep from flashing people, particularly from behind. Any taller and it wouldn't have worked at all. You can wear the ruffle on your shoulder but it looks cute under the arm as well.

As others have noted, this is more of a cobalt or royal blue than a navy, which was fine with me and I received lots of compliments on the color. However, it's also SHINIER than I was expecting. I thought it would be like a cotton/modal sort of matte, brushed look, but it's sort of silky and rather shiny. It doesn't suit me as much and is a little less casual than I pictured. A very pretty dress and very comfortable. I'm small chested, at least compared to my tummy/hips/butt, and found that I couldn't really fill out the top that well. I should have sized down for a better fit. If you're on the cusp between two sizes (as I am), go with the smaller one. Also, it's rather long, so it's probably a great choice for tall people.

Eh...
First of all, this is more green than it appears on my screen - it's very springy and feminine and lovely without being too floral or fussy or looking like an elderly person's sofa. This wasn't available in my preferred size (L) so I tried XL hoping it would work since wrap dresses can be so flexible. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the bust work; I'm small chested to begin with so stepping up a size was too much. That said, despite it being too big overall, it was also quite short and the fluttery part of the sleeves hung strangely - almost abrupt rather than flowy. I'm not sure there are many people for whom this will be a good fit.

Different
Firstly, I was expecting this to be black and it's actually a dark navy, which is lovely but just be aware. Secondly, there is an awful lot of fabric, so while it's nice to conceal trouble spots, it's also easy to look like you're drowning in the dress. I paired it with a denim jacket which helped define the waste a bit. I think a belt would also look nice. Looks great with gladiator sandals. Fabric is a little scratchy (but not awful), more of a crepe than I realized it would be. Does blow in the wind, and it's short at the sides, but there's so much fabric all around that I still felt covered. I loved that the straps were adjustable so that the top lay just right.

Comfy
I rented this on a whim and really enjoyed it. The shape of the skirt adds some pizzazz to what would otherwise be a standard black dress. The material is a good quality and lays well on the body all day with no stretching or wrinkling. Not too short or too long, and very comfortable. Easy to just wear and go. Racerback bra worked best for me. It could be dressed up or down and would go well with almost any jewelry, accent colors, etc. My only complaint is that the skirt can billow in a weird way every so often and make you look like a flying squirrel or a bat. Update: I liked this so much I've rented it again and am thinking about buying it.

Nice and springy. This isn't really my style (ruffles and flowers just don't suit me) but it was a lot of fun to try something different for a change, and if this is your style you'll adore it. Runs ever so slightly large but isn't long and has no give, so I wouldn't suggest sizing down. Looks nice with or without the bow that comes with it. Forgiving for people with a belly.

As others have said, this runs large (if you're normally between sizes choose the smaller one, and everyone should definitely size down for their backup) and is relatively shapeless. In combination with the way the shoulder straps are spaced, it seems even boxier than it would otherwise. I felt like it made me look like a linebacker. Loose and low cut, so bras are tricky. For as loose as it is, it is also a bit short. Overall just not a great fit and I'm not sure who it would fit well. The fabric is good quality - thicker than I expected for warm weather, but nice because it's lined and substantial.

Comfortable and versatile!
IRL this was more green and less aqua than it appears on my screen. A cheerful green, with much less of blue undertone and not pastel or minty at all. Not exactly what I imagined, but a perfect choice for a spring event. This was comfortable and nice for an outdoor event; it was heavy enough and lined sufficiently that the wind was not a problem for me like it was for many of the other ladies. I think you could dress this up or down quite a bit depending on the accessories and I think it could really be good for day or night, in or outdoor. I could have worn the 12 or the 14 but went with the 14 for a bit of additional length. I like that the lining was the same color as the dress rather than a "nude" shade that sometimes looks a little awkward on my skintone, and I also appreciated that I was able to easily zip and fasten this without anyone's help. Both sizes were in good repair with no zipper problems or noticeable wear on the lace. My only complaints were that 1)it made me look a little wider than usual and 2)the cut of the bodice draws a lot of attention to the armpit, which is just a pet peeve of mine for reasons I can't put my finger on - like there's more armpit "cleavage" than normal. Also doesn't have pockets, which I don't mind but I'm just pointing out as I know a lot of people prefer them (and based on the cut I suspect it could have had them). Not my all-time favorite but I would definitely rent again if the right occasion presented itself.

Beautiful color and fabric
As others have said, this is incredibly difficult to zip. The fabric is thick and high quality, so between that and the thorough boning, the zipper just doesn't want to budge, even when you're just trying to unzip it on the hanger. Making matters more complicated, the zipper pull itself is small and quite smooth, which really works against any efforts to zip the thing up. Absolutely plan to have someone help you with that. Other than that, the color and pattern are gorgeous - the pattern makes it a bit different and the color looks even more beautiful in pictures. Very regal. The sizing is a little unusual in that it is quite tight at the ribcage (for that reason I would size up) but more generous in the chest; the lower half is very forgiving indeed and would probably work for anyone regardless of hip, tummy, butt, thigh, etc. shape and while it won't make you look thin (it is a bit poofy), it is very comfortable and easy to move in. There is plenty of built in support and I did not need a bra (I'm a 36b) and in fact think it might have looked lumpy if I'd tried. Owing to the thick fabric and thorough skirt, the dress is pretty warm for something that is strapless and not full length, so bear that in mind. I found it perfect for a December party, but would probably have been too warm in the summer months. Because it is so unique and memorable, I probably won't rent it again (just for variety's sake) but I'm definitely glad I did and would enthusiastically recommend it.

Not as good as other colors in the same style
This was my third time renting this style of ML dress; the other times I have ordered the magenta shade and had an excellent experience. This time, however, the two sizes I ordered were rather dramatically different colors - one was true to the photo and looked nice, but the one I ended up wearing (12) was faded, more purple than cobalt, and the lace had quite a bit of wear. The interior had a lot of snags (not that anyone else knew, but I did) and the dress was simply not in the same condition as the other size or as RTR dresses typically are. I was disappointed. However, if you are able to get this dress in the color and quality you're expecting (again, my experience with the magenta one was perfect), it is a wonderful style - elegant but fun, very forgiving in the lower half of the body, and thick/warm enough for cooler weather. The arms are quite tight relative to the rest of it, so consider sizing up if you want to have mobility.

Static cling :(
Pretty dress, but this was the worst static-cling I have ever experienced. This was a little too snug in the shoulders for me (I'm on the edge of medium and large, but the large wasn't available) so I did not wear it, but even trying it on the static was an issue. As others have pointed out, this is a true wrap, so be prepared to tie it carefully and maybe use tape of some kind.

Odd fit
As others have noted, this is tight around the ribs. In my case, if I wore the appropriate size for the ribcage, the bust was too big; if I wore the right size for my bust (B cup), the rib area was too tight (uncomfortable for me and tacky to look at). If you have a bigger chest (or more svelte ribs), it might be fine. The color is beautiful, the material is a nice quality. The zipper was a bit difficult (even just unzipping it on the hanger), probably because of the thick material and the sequins, so you'll probably need someone to help put it on. I also noticed that because the skirt is so big and the top is relatively tight and small, it made my torso look a little shorter. Not a problem for everyone, but something to consider.

Beautiful color!
I loved this dress. I ordered the 8 and the 10 and opted for the 10 to get a little extra length and slightly looser sleeves (as others have noted, the sleeves are a bit tight), but otherwise the two sizes are quite similar. The dress was flattering and comfortable. The zipper on both the 8 and the 10 were stiff (made even more difficult by the tight sleeves), so you'll probably want to plan to have someone else around to zip it up. I absolutely loved the color - a little unique and I felt like it was bold without being obnoxious. Festive but elegant. Really a great dress.

Celebratory!
I loved this dress. I needed something fun for Vegas and this suited me perfectly - sparkles are far enough out of my comfort zone so I was thrilled to find something pretty much black. It was different and cute, perfect for the hot weather, and so easy to wear. Can dress up or down based on shoes/accessories. I described this as true to size but if I'm being more specific I'd say it's big overall but SHORT. I'm 150lbs and ordered 6 and 8; the 6 probably was more flattering but I just wasn't comfortable with the short length so I went with the 8.

I wore this for a night out in Vegas, and I sparkled more than the showgirls. It was perfect. It's comfortable except for the rubbing of sequins as your arms brush by. Flattering for those of us with a tummy. A safety pin might be helpful to keep the bust closed - I have small boobs and didn't quite fill this out, so was constantly checking to see if the fabric had draped down and exposed me, but it didn't. (for reference, I'm 5'6-5'7, 150lbs and ordered 8 and 10 but wore the 8). Biggest con: the zipper does NOT want to pass the ribcage part (even when it's just on the hanger - it's just very, very stiff). I had to put this on mostly fully zipped, so be prepared for that possibility. The 8 was difficult to unzip/zip and the 10 was completely impossible. Not a huge size difference from an 8 to a 10. Appearance-wise, my only complaint is that it somehow made me look shorter than usual. Overall, this was a festive, comfortable dress perfect for a night out. I got lots of compliments and would totally recommend it for that sort of occasion.

Flattering and unique
I usually wear an 8, but I needed this for a specific date and the 8 was unavailable, so I ordered the 6 and the 10. Honestly either probably would have worked - this dress is very flattering and forgiving. 8 would have been perfect, but this is really flexible. As some others have noted, the fit in the ribs is a bit tight, so for the sake of breathing/comfort, I opted for the 10. It was a bit long, but the skirt is so flowy that the precise length isn't noticeable. It is very low cut and I am very flat-chested, but I was able to simply tie the halter tighter. Took off one star because both the 6 and the 10 seemed to have some wear on them. Overall, this was comfortable and perfect for a beach wedding - a bit different, fun and bright but not so much that it took away from the bride/bridal party.
