Not for short torsos
Like others said, the buttons gape even though the dress is not too tight. I think this would be better for someone with a long torso so the cut of the dress sits right.

See through neck area
Very pretty! I got many compliments! The v neck part of the dress is just lace with no slip. It was questionable for work - I didn't wear a bra with this because there was no way to avoid seeing the cups in this dress. I also found it to be a little too fancy and lacy for work. I only wore it once.

Belt is weirdly placed
I wore this a few times but the belt is sewn to the back so I couldn't move it. It hit right near my tailbone so it was weird to tie around my side hips.

I didn’t read the reviews so my bad if someone already said this. This is a beautiful dress and I received many compliments. However, I suggest sizing up unless you want to stand all night. Hard to sit down when it’s too tight.

Great in all seasons
I’ve rented this over the summer and now winter and found it to be great all around! I layered this time with a fitted long sleeved top underneath. It was perfect for Thanksgiving - very relaxed on the stomach area lol.

Nice dress that I wore a sweater over because the button right behind the tie kept popping open. Another time I safety pinned it so you couldn't see my skin. It wouldn't stay closed for anything!!

Weird sizing
I thought this felt like it fit well, but looking at myself in the mirror I could see how the buttons didn’t lay flat. I realized I probably should have sized up. Also, the pattern wasn’t that great in person. I wore this while WFH only.

Totally fine but not WOW
Nice thick lining kept me warm in December and prevented sequins from scratching me. I had to pin the neckline so my bra wouldn’t show, which surprised me given that I’m nursing and my boobs are extra big right now. Wish the length was a little longer, but it was fine. The sleeves have elastic at the bottom and they kept riding up, I was adjusting all night. I felt comfortable in this, but wasn’t blown away. I did get several compliments!

Very flattering on postpartum body
I loved the style and vibrant colors of this dress. It was very flattering on my 4th trimester body where my boobs are at least 2 cup sizes larger than normal and I have a flabby belly. I am normally a small but the medium fit me best. The buttons covered my top half very well - just right. There are 2 hidden buttons under the tie strap right at the waist and I had to safety pin that area because the buttons weren’t strong enough. Would rent again.

"Best dress of the night!"
This dress fit well in all the right places! I am 9 months postpartum, 135lbs, 5'3", and E cup chest right now. The medium fit really well. I didn't even need to wear a bra! I literally have never not worn a bra. The dress was flattering and moved well; it did not feel constricting in any way. The lace layer of the dress hit an inch or two above my ankles and the mini skirt part did ride up after sitting but it wasn't an annoyance.

Interesting take on a striped dress
The small fit well enough but was tight, and at 21 weeks I wanted a little more room. I wore a medium with a denim jacket and black booties. The dress was thick enough to not need a slip, and it has a little stretch but doesn't stretch out.

Cute, light summer dress
Fits large, and even still the buttons in the front don't sit together well. They pull apart and look stretched out even though there is slack in the bust of the dress. The straps are thick enough to hide bra straps, except in the back they join the back of the dress with a clear ring rather than being sewed directly to the dress so there is a small part where you would see the bra straps. For bustier ladies, the dress did a good job of keeping cleavage concealed. This dress hit just past my knees (I'm 5'3"). Nice lining, nice fabric, nice design.

I normally wear a 4 but that size was not available so I had to go with 6. It was not too big, still pretty flattering and there was room to breathe. The pockets held my essentials. The material feels a little cheap; the lining not soft. There was a little rubbing on my collarbones from the lace. Overall good rental and I received many compliments.

Super flattering silhouette and beautiful dress color. I felt gorgeous!
I rented 4R and sized down to 2R as my backup. 4R felt a little big so I ended up wearing 2R. 4R had snaps on the straps to keep your bra in place, but 2R didn't have this feature so I ended up wearing it without a bra. The bodice is tight enough to provide support for a larger chest. The straps were a tad too big but that was the only issue I had with the dress. As a short person, the dress length was to my mid-calf, maybe a little lower. The material is very thick, and there are pockets! I would rent this again.

Not for short people
The dress fit well, it's beautiful, and I received many compliments. However, I felt like the dress was too long for me at 5'3". The dress hit exactly at the widest part of my (athletic) calves, which made it look like I have wide legs and no definition. Fun to wear once, but I wouldn't rent again and wouldn't recommend it to short, athletic builds.

Very warm, flattering cut
Yes this dress runs small; I tried S and M and the S was feeling too much like a sardine can. The medium was comfortable and still mostly flattering, though the dress bunched up a little in the front of the armpits. The design on the front and back is gorgeous. It looked navy to me in the pictures on the listing but was black in person. The material is thick and good for cold weather.

Received many compliments about this necklace! I agree it's a beautiful piece. You'll have to keep readjusting the "beads" all night so they keep straight, and the hook closure doesn't 100% close, so be careful about dancing too hard with this one on!
