Pleating at the waist give you an imaginary pooch because the fabric flares up when you move. Could definitely have worn this while I was very pregnant so maybe a good maternity party dress!

Sweater is thick and well made but as other reviewers noted, VERY SPARKLY. I did not expect it to be so sparkly, but for the holidays it was a fun way to dress up an outfit. Drawback is it was a bit scratchy, but nothing a camisole underneath couldn't remedy.

The material was thick and stretchy and I was excited to try it on. But alas the material just bunched up around my waist creating unflattering ripples because it was loose and there was too much fabric. If you have a thinner waistline you might run into the same issue. Other than that, beautiful quality and design.

I'm not particularly tall- 5'4" and I felt like this "dress" fit more like an oversized sweater or a tunic. If you're on the petite side and have thinner arms the exaggerated sleeves likely won't be flattering and will just hang on your sides. Didn't think it was oversized enough to truly be that style or cut to look like a sweater dress. Just didn't flatter me at all.

The pattern is beautiful and the material is a beautiful draped silk. I was crossing my fingers that I would love it but after looking in the mirror I knew it wasn't for me. I have a smaller waist and hips and it was terribly unflattering. The placement of the pleating will accentuate the good and true pleats will flare out creating a strange and unflattering shape. I really didn't want to post this unflattering picture but thought I should to show what the dress looks like if you have hips!

Quality as can be expected of DVF is wonderful- lace is substantial and you can tell that it is well made and not cheap. Looks great with a crop top or a cropped leather jacket! I wish that the pants didn't have pleats in the front which make a pouf around the front pelvis area which on my figure is not flattering. I really don't need any extra bulk around my hip area! If you have a straight figure or are less curvy it would probably hang quite well. However if you have hips might not be the most flattering.

This dress is stunning in person, the pattern is subtle but makes the dress stand out and the lace at the neck is a show stopper. Unfortunately I did not wear because of the fit. If you are larger than a size B cup and have an hourglass figure it probably won't work well for you. In my case the waist was a bit loose and the zipper would not zip past my bust. If I could have zipped up the top I totally would have worn this dress as it is absolutely lovely. I liked it so much I would consider finding this dress and having it tailored just so I can have it in my closet!

Loved the dress but didn't end up wearing because it was way too tight on top. The bottom of the dress fit fine but I couldn't zip it over my bust. Would definitely recommend sizing up if you are a B cup or larger. On the plus size, it's hard for me to find a dress that fits around my waist (25") and this one was tight enough to do the trick. Very flattering and thick stretchy material to hide any flaws.

Initially on the website, I thought this dress was just okay and decided to try it with Unlimited but once I put it on, I did not want to take it off! The pattern and fabric look much better in person as there is some texture to the fabric. I would say that this runs true to size- I am a 25" waist and the 0 fit well with a little to give. Dress is more of a maxi dress on me as a petite person but I love the way it flows. I think generally speaking this style may look better on women with slimmer profiles because of the way the skirt skims the body.

I usually wear a size 0 in just about every designer but I was glad that I read through the reviews because I ended up ordering a size 6 and it just barely fit. I would definitely recommend sizing up at least one size, if not two or more. The color is striking in the picture and it is beautiful in person, but I couldn't help but notice that in certain lighting, the fabric looked a bit worn. I don't think it's because the dress is actually worn out but just because of the fabric itself. Overall, I decided not to wear because there really was no wow factor besides the color of the dress. Fit was snug but not spectacular.

The bracelets themselves look slightly cheap although the larger bangles look better. My wrists have about a four inch circumference and the bangles would almost slide right off my arm if I didn't tilt my arm up. Decided not to wear them as they would seriously restrict my movement. Very disappointed.

I wanted to love this dress but the dress ran too large. The material is basically a thin neoprene and would look amazing if it were on the snug side. For me, it was too loose in the waist and I had folds around my waist/stomach which was definitely not flattering. I think this dress is best if you have an hourglass figure and can fill it out. On the plus side the back cutout looks amazing!
