Wore this on stage as a conference speaker. Also wore it to a Jan Polo Match.
This dress gave off Princess Kate vibes. The elegant drop waist, the contouring fit without being tight, the modest but flattering neckline. I almost pushed purchase. It traveled well and only needed a slight steaming. Wore well as I was a speaker on a conference stage, good for pictures. Then I wore it with a pillbox hat to a polo match that was a little cooler weather and windy. The hemline kept me from embarrassing myself in either circumstance. Love this dress .

Cute dress, traveled well, and wore nicely
Wore this for a conference in Jan. With boots it was easy to layer with a long jacket as I went in and out of the hotel. Most importantly it traveled really well, and hung nicely. It did not relax or stretch out as I wore it, which happens so often with cotton dresses.

Fun and festive summer cocktail party dress
This was way more fun on than on the hanger. I wore it to a south western themed event and the colors really popped!! It was super hot that night and the dress was flowy and didn’t add to the heat. Fantastic find. I did add a belt to better define the waist.

Too fun 🤩 Almost Kept for Summer
Perfect summer romper!!! Low cut. But hey… it’s summer…. Wrap around design allows you to cinch the waist as needed. Wore on a cruise but if wearing in a different venue would’ve added a tube top to cover some of the plunge. Fits true to size.

Perfect Vacation Dress!!! Loved it!! The first day of a family reunion cruise is often long and chaotic and this dress held up thru dinner. It’s slightly thicker so it doesn’t wrinkle like most summer dresses. Sized up due to reviews based on the chest area and I’m glad I did !! Slightly snug in the chest. Had to wear a smaller bra to ensure it didn’t gap. But totally worth it!! Loved!! 🥰

Perfect dress for a formal night on a cruise with my teenage son. Thin enough for the warm weather, covered everything while not being matronly. TONS of compliments. Without the belt it would be way too baggy. Jacket definitely ran large, belt made it wearable. The one pictured was missing, but threw on one of my own and made it work size down! The whole look is adorable! I loved it. Wish I had sized down. Will try again.

The top is perfection!! While the pants ran large (I left a different review) the top fit perfectly! I wore a size 6 which is TTS for me. Didn’t pull or gap with a thin under shirt. And didn’t relax as the day went on. Loved it.

Fashionable, but low cut and tight in the bust for work.
The waist, length, color, fabric; all was beautiful for Fall/Winter. The bust area was very snug and low cut if you have anything going on. I ended up putting on a top under it and a busy necklace to district from where the dress would've actually started deep down in my cleavage. It worked and received several compliments. I would rent it again

Love the dress but has a unique drawback
I really enjoy Black Halo. Fit is always great. This dress however is lacking any stretch and also doesn't have a slit in the skirt. So when I put it on it looked great. A few hours later at work however I discovered going to the restroom was difficult as it barely went over my hips!! The skirt tailors well around the knees and unless you have zero curve getting it over your hips is a dance.

Easy choice for a long day at the office
The cut on top adds a little variety to an otherwise basic cut professional dress. I could've sized this down and likely been fine. There was plenty of room. But based on the cut and fit it didn't look big. Best of both worlds. Will likely rent again. Considered buying but might try the next size before I decide

Front slit makes this more fun than professional
I love Back Halo bc they always fit. Tried this on and while the fit was perfect the front slit was extremely high. I wore it for about an hour while I got ready to see if the dress would relax or I would get over it, and ultimately took it off. I couldn't bring myself to wear it to the office. The distance between the top of the slit and where my hip creases is about 3 inches. Could be fun for a night out, but not for the office.

Based on feedback I sized down. I'm between 4&6. I ordered a 4. When I first put it on it was snug. But even before I made it to the office it had relaxed. By the end of the day it was downright comfortable.

Dress is a work out to get in and out of it. Put it on before make up and take make up off before removing it. Otherwise once it's on it hugs all the right places. Stays in place all day and does look tired by 7pm. Fun lines. Will definitely rent again

This was the perfect work to cocktail outfit. Wore all day and with a new pair of heels transitioned to a cocktail celebration for a Co worker. Held up, didn't wrinkle, shift or appear 'tired' at the end of the day. Seriously considering purchasing.

A 1930's style throw back
This dress nips and tucks in all the right places while still giving a 'loose' appearance. While standing. However when sitting the buttons do pull a bit. On this particular dress the eye hook that would likely keep this closed was missing. It was fun to wear for the day but likely wouldn't rent again. 5'6 145lbs, 36D, wore a size 4
