This dress is beautiful but it's basically a leg bind. It's tight around the knees and has no slit so don't expect to walk anywhere fast or go up stairs. 

I really enjoy Black Halo. Fit is always great. This dress however is lacking any stretch and also doesn't have a slit in the skirt. So when I put it on it looked great. A few hours later at work however I discovered going to the restroom was difficult as it barely went over my hips!! The skirt tailors well around the knees and unless you have zero curve getting it over your hips is a dance. 

but it's not as structured as it seems and was a bit tight. I found it a bit boring and a bit uncomfortable

Black Halo always has the best form fitting dresses for that hourglass figure . Perfect for work or events formal but fitting 

The only thing i didn't like about it is that it shows your armpits.

Loved the length for work and the silhouette and sleeves. Had to go 2 sizes up to fit. 

This dress is GOREGOUS. Fabric is high quality - breathable, but thick enough to be structured.  It is well made and hugs every curve, making your silhouette pop, even though the neckline and length are still "conservative" enough for work.  I paired with a red shoes and the whole look was awesome - I turned heads and received many compliments.

I sized up two sizes from my regular 12 since I know Black Halo runs small, and so many people gave feedback that they couldn't walk in it or get it over their hips to pee.  lol.  Two sizes up I had none of those problems, but it was also a considerably less sexy dress.  I may try it in a 14 next and see if I like it better.  But I would rent this again for work.  Looks expensive.

I received a ton of compliments and garnered plenty of male attention in this dress. I am usually a 0 or 2 and definitely needed the 2 in this. The sleeves are fantastic. 

There's no slit though, so climbing stairs and getting into your car can be tough. 

Also, I found it almost impossible to pull up to use the restroom. I managed, but it did make me want to reduce my water intake to avoid having to deal with it!

It fit snugly, especially in the rib cage (I have a larger than average rib cage) but otherwise it was true to size and easy to wear.  The slit in the back was not very generous and therefore was difficult to climb stairs, etc.   Well made and good fabric.  

I'm petite but this dress fit fairly well. It was a little loose in the midsection. I would've given it 5 stars if it had a slit at the bottom, it was very hard to walk in!

Too big in the waist, small at top, yet perfect below the waist

It's a cute dress but it has no stretch and no slit, so you can't take normal strides in it. Also it was impossible for me to get it over my hips to use the bathroom, so I had to actually unzip and take it off! Not ideal in public. Also not ideal if you have any trouble with the zipper.
