Not as expected
First, the colors were much brighter than online photos. I was expecting light pastels and it ended up looking more rainbow/pride. The second problem was that the top part of the dress is VERY SHEER. If wearing in the sun, you can very clearly see your bra no matter the color. The belted waist is also very tight with no zipper or elastic so its hard to pull on over your head and then, once on, is restricting.

Disappointing material
Such a cute dress and even cuter in person, very lightweight and comfortable. HOWEVER the major downside is the material... it creases immediately as soon as you sit down and only gets worse. After lunch I had to wear it the rest of the afternoon and was so uncomfortable because it has creased so badly that it looked like I had ironed it that way. If you rent it wear it to an event where you are standing and you should be fine.

Classic, perfect black tie dress
Seriously loved this dress. I rented it for a black tie optional wedding thinking I was going on the boring/safe side because its so classic but I got compliments on it all night! The fabric is not too heavy but thick enough that it doesn't show underwear line. The only thing thats a little annoying are the hidden mini straps that go under the sleeves to hold them in place. I was having to worry about if they were showing. Overall would definitely rent again!
