This was my first rent the runway experience and I tell everyone about it how!! I did rent this a couple years ago when I was about 20 pounds heavier. The way this dress fit was absolutely amazing!! The material was very thick and had a stretch to it that just snugged you in at all the right places. The liner and boning made it super comfortable to wear. I wore it to a black tie event in November so the thick fabric was perfect but would not recommend it for a hot summer event, o did wear pretty high heels as I am 5,3” but the length was great with heels. Would highly recommend renting this dress!!!

This fits beautifully on me and is super comfortable and flexible. Cannot wait to wear it for my next event! 

The fabric of this dress is heavy but with serious stretch. I would size down, especially if you want to accentuate the Va-Va-voom factor of the neckline.  My only consternation was figuring out how to keep my shapewear from showing in the front leg-slit - I wore the kind that come all the way down to just above the knee, and the left leg showed.  Ultimately I had to sacrifice my shapewear and cut them shorter on the left side. But I’d do it all over again.  Felt so confident in this dress - it shows off all the right curves.  I got tons of compliments all night!  Gorgeous dress.

This dress was perfect for my mom's nursing gala. It matched my boyfriend's navy blue tux perfectly. I believe it runs true to size bc I had extra room around my stomach area. I wore a 14 and typically wear a 12. The best way to describe this dress is simplistic elegance! 

I wish the fabric had a little more stretch… I didn’t feel super comfortable sitting/eating but loved the dress when standing! :)

This dress fit me perfectly! Received so many compliments when I wore it. I had some concerns about it not staying up on my arms but it didn’t move at all. I would absolutely rent this dress again! 

Wore this dress for a formal black tie event.  Dress fit perfectly - like a glove! Thick material that was flattering and perfect length for smaller heels (I'm already tall so didn't need to wear super high heels).  Neckline is very flattering, and straps stayed in place.  Inside rubbing was a nice touch for comfort and support. Would totally rent this dress again for a future wedding/event. 

Really loved this dress! It was comfortable and the fit was good! I could of worn the 4 but overall the 6 fit and wasn't too tight! Got many compliments! 

I wore this for a black tie wedding on New Year's Eve. The dress was super flattering and I got a ton of compliments!! It was the perfect balance of classy with the cut and color but sexy with the fit, slit, & neckline. As someone with a larger chest, it showed the perfect amount, I loved it!

Wore this for a masquerade charity ball on NYE where I got engaged. The dress was perfect. Comfy, didn't have to mess with it, thick material. Loved it. 

I did not like this dress.  The bottom fit ok but the top was way too big for me.  Felt like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.  The regular was also a little short for me-  I'm 5'9.  Did not feel this dress was flattering for my figure.  

I am 5'3 and weigh 156 pounds. I Rented a size 6 and it fit like a glove. The length of the dress was perfect with heels, the fabric is comfortable, yet elegant.

The dress was exactly as I envisioned and fit good although I needed a little more stretch. Size larger would’ve been too big. Nonetheless, it made my special day amazing, I looked sultry and elegant! 

Classic easy bridesmaid dress for black tie wedding. A bit warm for a wedding in Colorado in July but the slit made it breathable. I am 5'7 and the height was exactly right for a low 2-3 inch heel. Fun to dance in!

This dress was more amazing than I thought!! I read review upon review for the perfect dress, and especially on such short notice. Me being a 5'1 shorty, I was worried about it dragging since there were no petite sizes available, but considering that I wore 5 inch stiletto heels, it barely dragged on the floor. It was so elegant looking and I got compliment after compliment by all my friends, the off the shoulder effect and slit down the dress makes you feel sexy!! Coverage is amazing as well. 

I rented this dress for a formal photoshoot with my husband and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I was worried the dress was a little plain but it really comes to life on your body. It was classy and sexy without being over the top and the fit was very flattering. A 12 would have fit but I ordered the larger size so I'd be comfortable posing in photos. I'll probably rent it again for upcoming weddings! 

I loved this dress!  It fit very nicely and was extremely comfortable.  I am 5’3 and with heels the length was perfect!

I'm 5'4" and wore smaller sized heels, so it shouldn't drag too much for you. Dress is structured slightly but mostly stretchy throughout, so no difficulties sitting or awkwardness dancing. The torso and chest area was a little loose on me, but that could have been fixed with a strapless bra. If you want to forgo one though, the dress will still fit you great. Highly recommend!

The fabric is stretch but snug in the right places. I am 5ft 51/2 inches and I wore about 4inch heels and the length was perfect. If I began to walk a little bit sometimes it would ride up but a quick shift and the dress would be put in place again. I recommend wearing this with sticky boobs, it helps give the top more shape. I would consider myself an athletic build and carry most of my extra weight in my lower stomach/thighs. That being said this dress did a fantastic job accentuating all of the right places. The fabric is durable and you don't feel suffocated at all. The dress is truly timeless, I received loads of complements. Highly recommend! 

Wore this dress to an awards ceremony. This was not my fist pick dress, but a back up. It fit better than the first pick dress. If you're short and curvy (like me) you will not regret renting this dress. The fabric is stretchy and form fitting and flatters all the curves. At the time I wore this dress, I was 165 lbs and 5'0". I generally wear a size 10 and the size 10R dress was perfect size and length. 

Fit was great and dress was comfy and beautiful! 

Great dress! I had my fears about wearing an over the shoulder dress and having a nip slip, but this stayed up wonderfully and I wasn't adjusting all night. It fit perfectly and was well suited to the black tie optional holiday gala I was attending.

Such an elegant dress. Felt like a princess! :) 

Loved everything about this dress. I ended up wearing the smaller size I got (I'm usually a 6-8 but the 4R fit perfectly) and even was able to wear it without a bra!! It's the perfect dress for a black tie wedding and it's super comfortable to dance in too! The only con is the annoying arm straps but they're easy to keep hidden. Wish I owned this dress!!

Loved this gown! Got compliments on it! Fit great! However, it was slightly too long even with tall heels (maybe just short people's problem). But overall a great wear for the event. Highly recommend!

This dress was fabulous! It definitely ran big and could've fit into the 0, but it was not available during my dates, but the 2 still was great. It was a heavier dress, but it was sooo comfy. It was pretty long even with shoes on, but I am also short. 

The dress fits true to form, advise to get the size you usually wear in a dress and get the backup size a size bigger because it gets tight in the back area when zipping. I would have given it 5-stars but a wire kept poking me in my right arm the whole evening so advise to check the dress carefully for any dress malfunctions you can tell customer service about to get a replacement in time before the event. Other than that, this dress is perfect for a wedding or special occasion!

I'm convinced this dress has the sisterhood of the traveling pants magical properties. 

As my first RTR rental, I can truly say I'm impressed. I received so many compliments throughout the night. This dress fits like a glove, but isn't suffocating. I was able to dance in it for hours with no issues. I would say the best part is that this dress is flattering to everyone. I had read countless reviews which all said the same thing. Please believe us and you won't regret it. The off-the-shoulder straps stayed put all night. Also, very important to note for us short women: this dress is not too long if you wear high heels. I wore 4 inch heels and it grazed the floor.  I only had to lift it up when going up/down the stairs. Overall, I'd say get the dress. You won't regret it!

I got so many compliments on this dress and it made me feel beautiful! I am glad I ordered a larger backup size because the smaller one made the slit really prominent and I was working the event. However that made the top a bit big, and the hanger straps were so short that I couldn't keep them tucked in all night. Overall I loved wearing this dress but you definitely want some tape or something for the straps. Also I'm 5'7" and it was perfect length to wear with flats.

I received so many compliments on this gown; while it is simple, the material is lovely and hides imperfections (I am a new mom with a mom tummy). I would highly recommend! 

I felt amazing in this dress! It was actually my backup, but once I tried it on, I was sold.  The material is a heavy polyester/spandex, which is good because it really hugged my curves but it was also very warm.  The only downside was that it has 6 hanger loops that I had to secure with tape because they kept popping out no matter how good I thought I had hidden them.  Shapewear was definitely needed, and the regular length with 3" heels was perfect for my 5'3" self.   I felt so pretty in this dress and received a ton of compliments.  It was my first experience with RTR and I will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved this dress and I received many compliments! I am 5'4" and 140 lbs and the 2R fit great with 3 inch heels. The waist was the only section that was slightly too big but it was manageable. Highly recommend!

I'm a true 14 and the 14R was perfect. It was stretchy and a nice thick fabric. Flattering leg slit. Flows nicely. Highly recommend

This dress was so flattering and I got a ton of compliments. Wore this to a New York Black Tie wedding and fit right in. Also the straps are nice and tight so I did not have to pull up my chest every two seconds when dancing (which for a big boobed girl is a miracle with anything off the shoulder).
