Runs a little large
Not sure why RTR suggested a medium in this dress for me ... probably because all other sizes were already rented? I am a size 10 and a standard large. I have another Misa dress in same style in a large and it fits me better but the medium worked OK. Just FYI I thought the background color on this dress would be white or cream and it's beige. I was really surprised by the color when I first saw it. I don't think it looks as good in person as in photos. It's more dull and less vibrant.

Everyone is right ... they run real small
I'm a pretty standard size 30. I got these in 31 and they were very tight. I think going up 3 sizes would be needed.

I have a different style of Current Elliot jeans in a size 30. This pair I got in a 31 and they were smaller than the size 30 I own. Also they are not white. Have a yellowish tinge to them. Other than that nice shape and would have been flattering one size up in the waist.

Cut so low I couldn't wear
The neckline literally was cut to the bottom of my boobs. There was no way I could decently wear this. I couldn't pin it and I didn't want to wear a camisole in the summer heat so this item went unworn. Otherwise it fit well.

It was only as I was leaving this review that I realize I ordered a size larger than I usually wear. I must have done that based on reviews but I shouldn't as I'd say they are probably true to size or even run a little big. I'm a 30 and the 31s were hanging off me. Way too loose.

I got this in a 13 even though I am usually a 10 and it was still a bit tight in the chest. It was still wearable except the straps are so long that the bodice hangs low and I just don't find that attractive. So I didn't wear it. Colors are very vibrant.

See through top and runs big
There weren't many reviews for this so I took a chance. So 2 things to know a) the top is sheer. You can clearly see a nude bra beneath it b) it runs big. I'm a standard size 10 and the Large was big on me. I could easily have gone down to a Medium. I didn't wear it as I'm not interested in everyone at brunch being able to see my ta-tas and because it was too big it looked frumpy.

This looked comical on me. I think it was too big (I got XL but am usually L). The waist hit me too high and didn't hug me so it just kinda hung off me. Put it straight back in the bag.

Great quality skirt
I got this to match the shirt ... shirt didn't flatter my body type so did not end up wearing skirt either. Skirt was a bit long and frumpy on me and had plenty of room so probably could have sized down (elastic waist). Nice quality.

Great outfit just didn't flatter me
I took a chance on this as I've never tried to wear a shirred top before on my very full bust. It was not a success. However that wasn't the fault of the design so I'm giving this 5 stars even though I didn't wear it as it was great quality and very cute on the hanger.

Short and see through
I'm normally a large and this extra large fit OK everywhere except length. The skirt didn't come down to the tips of my fingers. If I were 15 years younger or 15lbs smaller then just maybe I'd have been ok with that but overall it just wasn't flattering so it went straight back in the bag. Also I could see my nude bra clearly through the material in the top. Skirt didn't appear to be see through though.

I wore another plaid dress from RTR that I loved but which was way too short for the office. This was similar and I hoped it would be as flattering just longer. It wasn't. It was boxy. Shapeless, which is hard to do with me as I have a curvy figure. It was a sensible dress that worked just fine but didn't make me feel attractive.

Beautiful color and style
I ordered this a part of my unlimited with no idea where I'd wear such a flouncy concoction. Eventually wore it out to dinner with friends. But it really made me look hefty, added lbs. I think this style would work better for a size 6 or smaller. Be aware this is really low cut. I had to wear a cami under it to make it decent.

Overall OK, love the pockets however they do stand away from your body at certain angles and create a bizarre profile...basically it was too big. Loose on the waist which I like but then way too much volume in the skirt. I wore it just once. Might try a size smaller.

Wow it was glittery
I thought this was going to be a gun metal grey kinda color with a subtle shimmer. Boy was I mistaken. It was blindingly dazzling. Way too much for the office. I didn't wear it.

What you might not be able to tell from the photos, and the description doesn't mention, is that this has a high waist line that was almost empire on my full busted frame. I am usually a solid size 10 but I'd say this seemed two sizes too small. Not for girls with curves up top. Shame because the material and pattern is lux

Short and sassy
I rented this for work but unfortunately it was crazy short. And I mean crazy short. I love a good short skirt but this didn't even skim my fingertips when I put my hands down by my sides and I'm only 5'5". Other than that it fit great and was super flattering.

This looked great on the hanger and I thought it would look great on me. Alas not. Another reviewer said she felt like a sausage in it and I couldn't get that analogy out of my head all day lol. I think this would look great on someone slimmer.

Tons of compliments
Of all the outfits I've worn from RTR I think this got the most compliments. Probably because it's so different from what I'd usually wear, or anyone else I know really. I felt pretty good in this. It was comfy.

Big, baggy and very unflattering
The top half was OK, quite cute but I was swimming in the skirt which was huge compared to the top. And it hit at a really matronly point on my leg. I didn't even wear it but sent it straight back.

Made me feel mannish
With the little bow and flouncy skirt this dress should be super feminine on. It made me feel anything but feminine due to the cut. Yeah I know it's drop waist but something about the way this was constructed made it bulge in places it shouldn't and made me look like an apple. I don't mind looking boyish but I do mind being given bulges I don't have that made me look like I have a big mid section. I did wear this to work as I wanted something different but it didn't make me feel good about myself.

Who is this made for?
Didn't wear this. Top fit OK but the bottom was massive. Drowned me. I'm pretty in proportion even though I'm a little top heavy. The '"waist" doesn't hit at the waist but an awkward inch or so higher which just made me look boxy. All in all just a terrible fit. Oh and the cleavage factor is high. No hiding it in this baby if you're blessed with ample cleavage. Shame it didn't work out as it has pockets.

The first time I wore this dress I wasn't sure about it. I kept fussing with the skirt, pulling it down because it felt short. The elastic on the sleeves left marks on my arm too, and it was too low cut. 2nd time I wore it I started to appreciate it more. It's casual yet hip.

Tight and I felt self-conscious
This was a super comfortable dress. However it shows every lump and bump. I am very top heavy and felt super self conscious in how it clung. It made me wish I owned stand for the tummy area too. I didn't like that the hem rolled up (knit) and the ruffles. They weren't as perky as they should have been. It's a classy dress and would look great on a bit slimmer girl.

Not flattering at all....
I didn't wear this. It just wasn't flattering. Emphasized my boobs and lack of defined waist. Just made me look heavier than I really am....maybe because the hem hit at a frumpy length.....I felt very middle aged in this (which I am but don't necessarily want to look it).

Maybe I've packed on a ton of weight without realizing but I couldn't get into this size 8. I went back and looked at photos of women with similar weight/height and they looked great. Couldn't squeeze my 36DDs into this.

Nice top but runs big. I'm 36DD and I could have gone with the small I think. It was very voluminous in the rib cage area. It's also very warm! As it's lace I thought it'd be perfect for summer, even though it's black. But maybe because it has layers it's very toasty. I will definitely get this top again in the winter and a size smaller.

I rented this for my vacation but didn't end up wearing it as it seemed a lot of bother with the zip. I just threw on an off the shoulder top that was loose instead. But this was a pretty top and fit really well. Definitely needed a size 10 for my bust. So if you're a DD be aware that it's snug. Shame it came to me with an ink stain on the front ....

Loved everything about this dress
From the lush knit, to the perfect length there was nothing not to love about this dress. Extremely flattering and I received many compliments. I'm a size 8 and I wore the large. I would have liked a little more room across the tummy and around the bra line in the back but other than that it was perfection. Will definitely rent again.

Pretty but a bit boxy
I am a sucker for this style blouse with a yoke and frills even though I'm aware that it's not the most flattering style for a busty gal. Overall fit me well but, as often is the case, because it fit me across the bust it hung very loose on my frame. Luckily I was able to tuck it in which helped. I didn't find it to be see-through which I had been concerned about.

So comfy!
I like my jeans loose and the size 30 was perfect for giving me the look and feel I wanted. Got a lot of compliments on the vibrancy of the color. I'd say the waist runs a little small so bear this in mind if, like me, you're a bit of an apple shape.
