So pretty but more generous in the hips that flattering. I'd love to try in a smaller size.
This is a dress and the neoprene fabric is heavy in a good way and flattering. The bust fit ok, but I could have smuggled kittens into the party in the hips.

Superstar Barbie dress but too big for me
A lovely shade of pink. I wanted to wear this but there is just to much there. It looks like I'm borrowing someone else's dress, not wearing a fabulous evening gown. I think this may be a factor of the fabric (a heavy poly, matte finish). The seaming is great, the fit is just too generous. Length was perfect for a high heeled evening shoe.

Not a good fit for me but would help give curves
Soft sweater. My husband liked it but I was uncomfortable with the way it looked at my waist. I'd suggest this for anyone looking to show off curves, especially someone who is looking to create curves.

So close pretty print cute cut
Lovely fabric but I wanted more flow so need to go up a size to purchase. Very sheer - needs a liner tank for corporate. I just wanted it to be more floaty and that means sizing up on the bust.

Very pretty, but potentially revealing
Lovely dress. I previously wore the short green version for a cocktail event. Was glamming for Mardi Gras and went with this dazzling number. It is difficult to zip - be warned. I had to turn it around, zip, then spin it to put the straps on. The straps are way loose. While I don't have a long distance between my shoulder and underbust, this would have needed two inches taken in at the shoulder to really look properly empire. I appreciated the space for full breasts, but the cleavage reveal would not be appropriate for a corporate event. Be prepared for some sequin trauma under the arms, but it isn't awful. Very shimmery, very sexy and easy to wear once it's on. Not something I need to have in my closet, but I sure wouldn't mind to own and alter to perfection, because it's so close.

This was made to drape and look fantastic - just not on me
This jacket would look amazing on someone with a different weight distribution. Mine's all over, so this just added to the round dumpling effect - but it would look so great on someone with either an apple or pear shape. The color is vibrant and bright and gorgeous. I fit two sizes smaller than my usual with a nice sweater underneath. I didn't wear it out, because the cut didn't flatter.

Nice blazer - I wound up needing a smaller size, but this is cute
A little excess (I need the 16 instead of the 18) - but the fabric is nice and the lining is cute. I'm really trying to work more navy into my closet for a change. This blue is lighter than the almost black navy - might even call it a deep blue instead of a navy. Lining is cute. Quality seems high, and I enjoyed it.

Nice colors, nice material, don't love the cut
A boxy look overall. A shorter length means it hangs out there, instead of coming in towards the body. I'd recommend for someone with more of a rectangular shape - or a true hourglass who can draw it in at the waist. The fabric is nice, the colors are lovely - and it worked perfectly with the City Chic navy blazer with polka dot lining. Note the color is more cherry than burgundy (More Dr. Pepper can than cabernet or Cocacola can, and the dots are more ice than winter white (cool tone, great under LEDs).

Plenty of room for bust, not enough room for under-bust area.
There was generous room for 38Gs, in fact, it looks great. BUT! There wasn't enough room in the underbust area. I think the 20 would fit, but it was an odd fit (waist was ok). It was as if the design was intended for someone with a size 18 bust on a size 14 chest. Note the design is described as black and white, but the fabric actually read like a nice white cotton with a tan and black print. It's lovely, but not appropriate for a black and white dress party. If I rent Siriano again, it'll be a 20. The dress is well made, with high end linings and seam details.

Zipper issues (which RTR handled perfectly) but reviewing dress for clarification
NOTE: I could not wear this dress for the event bc the zipper arrived broken. Tried it on to see where I fit in the Siriano sizing. This size worked for me, though the under-bust area is tight. This dress was NOT a good look for me. It's a gorgeous heavy fabric - NAVY with printed colored flowers and a woven in metallic silver sparkle. The problem is the upper bust area on me looked like overalls without a shirt, this style would be much better on someone with less projection forward on the bustline. It would be lovely on someone with a pear or apple figure, with the full skirt (pockets ftw) providing gorgeous fullness, helped by a fully fashioned liner, and the top would line up appropriately as in the model above. Gorgeous expensive hand to the dress. Enjoy it!

Great ruby color, and a compliment-catching style with some va-va-voom
Husband called it a Jessica Rabbit dress. We went to a black, white and ruby red event and this was spot on for the color. It was fun to stand out in the red. The sequins shine, but don't really glitter. The dress did give some highlight to some problem areas, but control-wear underneath resolved it for the most part. The neckline/sleeve bit didn't sit the way it is imaged above, but it was pretty and made for very nice face framing head shots. I enjoyed wearing this and felt very very glamorous. Size was good, but I felt this formal a dress would benefit from more length. I'd be curious to see if a size up would sit better.

I'd definitely rent this again for the right event. The black sequins are super shiny, and catch the faintest bit of light. Unlike some sequinned items, this glides over curves without highlighting bad bumps. Love the cut, but be aware the low back means you will need a low-backed bra. The stars could be sea stars or just part of the night sky, so will fit a lot of themes. The widening at the base does not stand out as much for me as in the model images. If you want it to stand out more, you will need some support.

SO pretty, so comfortable.
As a short chick, I was worried about where this would hit on me, but it wound up looking great for an afternoon wedding. I feel like I could have made it more formal with more sparkly jewelry. I did wear it with a belt, which helped define the waist. If this were something I owned, I would definitely take in the waist, but the belt did the trick. A smaller size may have fit, but I loved being comfortable and able to move. Given that a lot of work people were at the wedding, having my curves a little covered (and NOTHING popping out) was a good thing. I would love this dress if it had long sleeves, but for now it's just a deep deep like.

Comfort and style. Modest neckline and curve-conscious dressing
Oh dear. I messed up. I thought, from the pictures, that this dress had shimmer. I wasn't sure if it was sparkles or glitter, but when I actually received the dress, there was NO SPARKLE. This is a lovely dress. In the style of a burnout velvet or a re-embroidered lace, the top layer is navy and black and shows open areas creating the pattern. NOT an applique. The bottom layer is a palest pink (lighter than ballet pink, more a white with a hint of pink glow) and is a lovely stretchy jersey. The dress fit my curves well, and I felt very comfortable at a family party. I was so sad that the dress didn't sparkle since the party was a Mardi Gras event and shine was what I was really going for. I wish the liner was shimmery, but since it is unremovable I couldn't even insert a bit of glam that way.

Sparkle plenty!
Worn for a Governor's ball to a night wear fomal wear can range from sequins to jeans (or sequined jeans), with some expected dancing. It was perfect. I loved that it was figure flattering without being too revealing. I chose to wear the larger size because I knew it was going to be a meal and dancing. Had it just been cocktails and standing about looking pretty I would have gone with the smaller size. Plus my strapless bra has the formed cups and they tend to be more up front and ah... the larger size offered some subtlety. I wore a low backed strapless bra to make sure nothing showed in the back, but I'm sure some could wear a regular bra if it was lower in back. I loved the length, but I prefer a longer length for dinner dresses. The fabric could be scratchy, but it's lined with high-end lining with a bit of stretch. Oh... classy linings are so nice. Seriously, I would love to have the lining fabric made into slips for ALL my dresses. It helped keep everything cool. Highly recommend this dress. Husband gave it the "you should buy that" rating along with the eyebrow waggle of appreciation.

Wound up wearing to TWO events - great piece
Was wearing a silver dress (Theia) that had enough glitz and glam, but I wanted to accessorize with something that would help bring out the blue tones to match my husband's jacket. This worked beautifully with the dress. The weight held up well against the dense fabric and the cool tones were a lovely accent. I also wound up wearing this for an additional event with a matte black knit. The dress is one I own, and the outer dress is made of a superfine knit. I wouldn't want to wear anything that was likely to pick it, so this smooth beading was wonderful. The length fit just right for me, not falling into the cleavage zone, or feeling like it was choking me. Got a number of compliments on the necklace and was delighted to share it was from RTR!

Gorgeous dress sent as sub by RTR, but a size too big
Gorgeous feel and a lovely gown but a size bigger than I needed. I usually have to go to an 18 to fit the bust but the Theia gowns haven't had that issue. This dress would have been a great fit for the business gala I attended if it had been the right size. I'll definitely rent this in the future. The hem is just right so the front shows off shoes and the back creates a train. Pockets are a great addition and the heavy satin means it flatters the figure (skimming over flaws). The navy and black combo is gorgeous and the modest neckline means no worry about over sharing. This could be enhanced by accenting it with a belt - I was going to use a wide elastic one. The construction is fantastic with great support for the hem and overall just really well made. The pressing was imperfect on the bust seams but that can be easily remedied.

Perfect fit and felt so glamorous.
Body skimming and figure flattering. So many compliments and more importantly I felt fantastic in it. The golden accents helped shape my figure, accenting where the waist goes in and creating a nice line down the back. The way the chest area is, it is flattering to a fuller bust without looking like a cleavage show. It felt very appropriate for a business event. I wore it with gold sandals, antiqued gold bracelets and some amethyst earrings. The gold tone is not yellowy like a standard 14k, or as rosy as a rose gold. The best match I found was multihued hammered gold or antique (blackened) gold. This would be a great Mardi Gras or Christmas dress, though the slight train would preclude much parading outdoors. I would buy this if I could. I loved it.

These glam (think old Hollywood) earrings really brought another level of shine to a sequin dress.
These earrings are big and they are not light. However, for someone who usually wears 1/2" hoops, the weight wasn't uncomfortable and they were really pretty. Unlike some cheaply made earrings, these looked rich and the details were finely finished. Appreciate the option.

I wanted to... but I just didn't fit
I loved this and thought it would be perfect for a dressy casual dinner party. The unfinished seams of the heavy weight fabric definitely added some panache to the floral fabric, but the 14W waist was a lot smaller for me than the supplied Carmen Marc Valvo measurements. Unfortunately the 16W wasn't available this weekend. I might re-rent when the 16W is available for the right event.

These felt comfortable and I certainly enjoyed them, but I would up not wearing them as I changed the dress to something black and white so these didn't really match. Clips but not heavy or uncomfortable.

I got two compliments from total strangers on the way from the hotel room to the hotel meeting room!
I did have to tack the neckline to make sure it didn't show my bra, but other than that the dress fit beautifully. I definitely liked the smaller size for the top - which is rare for me. The dress was really sparkly but I didn't feel like Christmas tinsel, I felt like a superstar. I was worried about the back, below the waistline as it was popping a little. I just had to pull the waistline down to my natural waist to make it smooth out. The fabric was in good condition, and I couldn't see any obvious issues but I did leave a bit of a green sequin trail. The hemline fit just above the middle of my knee. Very happy about choosing to rent the dress. My first RTR experience and it was great!
