This dress hugs all the curves and everything was just right.  Wish I had worn a lower cut bra.  Spanx smoothed the way.

No need to hem it and you can wear a full bra.  Fit perfectly in all the right places.  The back of the dress was also breathtaking.  Great dress.  I would purchase it if I attend formal events often.

Pretty but runs short in length, my boobs were a little too out there and the gold looked like it has been worn out way too much I didn't end up wearing 

Loved the fit and thought the back was very flattering because it a gold strip of fabric down the entire length of dress. Slight fraying on front of gold part but wasnt too noticeable. Reason I didnt wear it was that it showed too much cleavage for a work event. 

I wore this for a Mardi Gras Ball.  It was perfect. The fabric moved easily so I could dance in it. The top showcased my features without being trashy. It was beautiful.

I'm 5'2 and 145lb, curvy with 34e bra size.  The 10P size was absolutely perfect with a 3inch heel.  The cut out in the front does reveal cleavage, but I thought it was tasteful, and I liked that you could wear a regular bra under.  If you're "well endowed",  your cleavage will look absolutely beautiful in this dress, because of the cut and fit - just enough to be fabulous and show off what you've got.  You may want to be prepared though because you will attract attention- positive attention but attention nonetheless, so depends on what your goals are for the evening.  I thought that the midline of the dress and where the gold wraps around was very flattering for the little bit of mummy tummy that I'm still carrying around.  Basically a gorgeous fit to create an hourglass shape.  

Not only is this dress beautiful, but it also fits the body so well! The slightly cinched waist complements all shapes and sizes. I felt so beautiful in this dress and received compliments all evening! 

My only critique is the length. I wore a 10P but the dress wasn't floor length as I expected, creating a slightly awkward length. Overall, this dress was comfortable & and so gorgeous!

I loved this dress!! Wore it for a formal wedding & felt great.  The length was perfect for me (I'm 5'2.5") and even a little short with heels. The top gold panel was a little loose (I have narrow shoulders) and the waist definitely felt fitted after dinner -- but overall it was an absolutely beautiful dress and I highly recommend it!! 

GORGEOUS! That's what sums up this dress. Perfect fit, wears beautifully, and the design on the back is just the icing on the cake. I got tons of compliments all night long! This was a petite and I normally would get long but it wasn't available. It still was the perfect length!  It's THEE dress if you're looking for classy and elegant! RTW never disappoints! 

I wore this for my senior prom, and it was SO perfect! The dress is perfect for 4 inch heels (as long as there isn't a platform) and the dress was incredibly comfortable. The fabric wasn't too tight, but also hugged my curves so well!! I felt amazing in that dress, and I got so many compliments!!!
The only con I could think of is that when the dress comes it might be a little wrinkled. Also because these dresses are used multiple times, its natural that on the gold fabric there were one or two tiny strands coming off. But it was SO worth it!! I felt like a princess.

The dress was comfy and gorgeous.  I generally wear a 4P or 6P and the 6P was a tiny bit big, so I think it's fair to say it is sized correctly.  I wore 4 1/2 inch heels and it was still a little bit long, but I am just shy of 5'2".   It definitely shows some cleavage, which was kind of fun for this elegant evening event.  I wore a normal bra and undies, so nothing special needed (unless your size is a little snug and then I might suggest Spanx, but no need if it fits right).  The gold stripe down the back showed off the curves but also helped make me look taller and thinner, which was awesome.  This review isn't letting me put in my stats, so I will do that here.  I am 5 ft 1-1/2 in, 120#, 34B, a bit curvy!  Beautiful dress and I would highly recommend it.  

Fit like a glove, perfect.  :)  Comfortable and able to wear a normal bra.

I love the knowledge of the folks on the phone with regards to style, the dresses, and how to choose the proper size. I loved this dress although it wasn't my first choice (long story) but it worked out well. My daughter is wearing a RTR dress in this photo too!

Loved this dress! It was a second option once my first choice fell through but it was even better! Such a flattering cut and even though it was snug, it was very comfortable. I wish that the long would have been available because even in flats it was a little too short. 

The fit was fairly true to size. I didn't wear a bra and was quite voluptuous in this dress, so larger breasted women may size up just in case. I am 5'3" and ordered a petite--the length was perfect for flats, but I couldn't wear heels. If you are shorter don't go with the petite if you want to wear heels. I have a wider waist and rib cage for my body type, but there was a little stretch to the material. It's fitted, but the material is thick and I wouldn't describe it as skin-tight like a lot of the formal RTR dresses available for formal events. Good option for women who gain their weight in their top half rather than their legs and butt (although I think it would be fine if you do have a larger rear end). Not many of those kinds of dresses out there for us but this one is a good one! Got compliments all night on this classic style black dress...the gold detail made it stand out for sure. 

This dress fit like a glove. It works well for large chested girls like myself. Didn't even need to wear a bra! The gown does have a little stretch too and is a nice figure friendly fabric. 

The fit was great, the length was perfect for me. I'm 5'2 and the regular length hit the top of my shoe. If you are taller and/or want to wear a tall heal, I would suggest getting the longer length.

I loved everything about this dress. It fit true to size, was not too short, and I was able to wear a regular bra with it. Many of the reviews of the petite size made me nervous the dress would be too short with heels. I am 5'3" and was able to wear 3 inch heels perfectly. The regular length would've been too long. I received compliments all night. 

Pros:
-I LOVED this dress. The cutout in the front gave me the illusion of the perfect amount of cleavage and the gold necklace made a necklace unnecessary. I just paired it with gold and black earrings and a bracelet. 
-The gold accent down the back was awesome. A nice additional detail to an already amazing silhouette. 
-I could wear a regular bra with this!! No strapless or razorback required.
-AMAZING FIT. I usually have problems with things being too tight around my bottom/hips while being too loose around my chest but this dress fit like a glove wasn't too tight or too loose. It hugged all the right places.
-Thick fabric with lining is always a plus while also not feeling heavy.

Cons:
This dress fell just short of touching the ground when I was barefoot. I knew this might be an issue from the reviews but at the time they only had 6R available. At 5'6" I thought it was a little silly that a 6R was too short as I have never bought a "long" item in my life. I would have preferred a 6L. I had to run out last minute and get a pair of flats but lucked out with a pair of black leather flats with a gold accent that worked perfectly. And ultimately the rest of the dress is so amazing no one was even looking at the length. 

I was nervous to wear this dress because the main eye catcher is the breast area but it was truly beautiful! My husband loved it as did all my friends. A definite looker! The petite length fit me perfectly at 5'3" and it ran true to size. Extremely comfortable! 

This dress was gorgeous! I got complements all night! The butt area was a little tight, and the bust was a little loose(I'm a 40DDD), but I made do. I wore this to a masquerade ball gala and it was a hit! 

Favorite dress ever! Only wished I would have rented the long! I am 5' 6 1/2". It was short on me. Gold stripe up the back made this dress eye catching from all angles! Love! Love! Love!

The only thing that I was self conscious about was my arms, and the arms were a little tight on me. I also feel like this dress was a tad short but it worked out in the end! Definitely loved that I chose this dress and will be renting again soon! Also loved the bracelet that I rented. Fabulous night with the perfect dress. My boyfriend said it made me look slimmer and absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Loved it. Heavier dress so didn't have to wear Spanx. Wore staples bra. Long gold line goes down the back of the dress and could tell it was a head turning detail. Wonderful. 

I loved this dress and got many compliments at the 2016 South Carolina Special Olympics Give to Gain Gala.  It is conservative with a "peek-a-boo" feature.  I am 5' 5", 143 ibs, and the 8R ran a bit short but fit great! 

Great dress. Comfortable and beautiful. Great combination. I wore with 5 inch heels and it was the perfect length.

I felt so beautiful in this dress. The 12R was fine with spanx, but the 14 (which were all sold out) would've been a little more comfortable, especially at the arm holes. Wore it to a formal 40th birthday party and got rave compliments all night! 

This is a great dress.  I wore it to a formal wedding and received several compliments from other guests.  The gold accents are very flattering to your curves and your waist.  I was able to wear a normal bra, and also wore spanx under to ensure smooth lines.  The petite length was perfect for me at 5'3" with 2 inch heels.  It's very comfortable to dance and sit in.  My only tiny complaint was that it tended to shift around my body throughout the night, so I had to adjust it back around.  I would definitely rent this dress again, even though it was my second choice after my first choice was unavailable.  

This is beautiful formal dress!  I got so many compliments all night long. It's sophisticated and sexy. The cutout makes it dramatic, but it's not too revealing(but there will be cleavage). It's a heavier material, so not necessary to wear spanx underneath. Loved this dress!

Dress definitely fit true to size. I am about 5'5" and i was surprised how short it was since I am not that tall. I could still get away with wearing heals but anyone taller than 5'5" should get the dress in a long. It was slightly tight under the arms but comfortable all night. I received so many compliments and felt great all night. I also want to give a shout out to the amazing customer service at RTR. The day before my event, I received an email that my backup size was unavailable. So after emailing back and forth a few times, they ended up sending me my original dress in my original size, another dress in my original size, PLUS another dress in my backup size. I was extremely pleased with how they handled the situation and will be renting again soon!

I felt awesome in this comfortable, beautiful dress. So much nicer than what I would have bought for myself. I got tons of compliments!! Back is gorgeous too. 

Loved the dress, it fit great and made my busy look bigger than it is! Only issue was the length even with 4" heels I was dragging it and holding it up all night.

When two other dresses I ordered came and were too small and too long, I was nervous when RTR sent me these as my last resort. But it was a match made in heaven! I'm a short girl with curves and this dress made me feel classy and sophisticated yet sexy. The back is gorgeous, the gold lining goes all the way down with a.l slight train. I have a small chest too but with a good strapless bra this was incredibly flattering with the little slit in the dress. Would highly recommend it!! 

A bit tight in the rib cage but the fabric has some give in it. Wearing the right undergarments helped. I wore a one piece body slip with bra. 

This dress was a huge it at the wedding I wore it to.  It was a really comfortable fabric but was a bit tight in the arm holes.  Also, I typically never have an issue with petite sizing as I have really short legs and petite length is what I generally need but this was SHORT! I wore flats though which worked out in the end. 

It fit beautifully, it showed all of my curves and fit my body perfectly. 
Pros: the fit is tight but not uncomfortable, nice bright gold colors, and the chest peep hole is nice and flashy but the dress is still very classy. 
Cons: The gold fabric was a little itchy on my chest and underarms but after about half an hour of wearing the dress, I did not feel a thing! I was totally comfortable for the night. 
I recommend this dress to anyone who is looking for a classy yet flashy dress. I got many great comments from people at prom. Everyone loved the dress and so did I.

This dress is great. The only thing is it is VERY fitted and my body is kinda weird so I often times felt a little stuffed into the dress in certain places and then big in the top. But, I got so many compliments and the photos turned out great! 

This dress is stunning and so unique. I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments, I highly recommend it. The fit was perfect and true to size.
