I wanted a yellow Belle inspired dress to wear to see the Beauty and the Beast musical and this fit the bill perfectly! It was the perfect princess dress with the right amount of fullness and was so easy to wear. The dress was in great condition with no snags in the lace. Paired with nude accessories and gold jewelry. I am petite so I did feel the dress could have been an inch or two shorter ideally to lengthen legs more. I'm normally a 0 and wore a 0 which was a little loose but still very wearable. Maybe if they made a 00 it would be better. Also I felt the dress was more marigold than yellow since the lace is two toned and some of it leans more towards orange than yellow but overall I am very happy with it and it fit the event perfectly.

The dress is very pretty but much more sparkly than it appears in photos! This would be perfect for New Years or a bachelorette but for a romantic birthday dinner at a steakhouse I felt like it was a bit much. I didn't particularly want to wear full on sequins but this was one of the only dresses on my wish list available last minute and since RTR gave me a free rental for my bday I had to choose something. The sizing was true to size if not a bit large. It was comfortably loose around the stomach and hip areas. It was too long for my taste so I hemmed it up with tape. Unfortunately this resulted in the sequins touching my legs which was very uncomfortable sitting down. The sleeves were not lined so my arms were itchy. Also my boyfriend thought the large exposed zipper in the back looked cheap. Overall it was a nice dress with an easy fit but not my favorite rental.

I was so excited to receive this dress and when it came and I tried it on I was definitely not disappointed! It is so fun to wear and is classic, timeless, girly, and sexy all in one! You can definitely feel the quality of the fabric and in the weight of the dress. It's heavy on the hanger but feels great on. As other reviewers have mentioned, it 's large and gappy in the bust. Make sure you have fashion tape on hand for this dress. I didn't, and did not have time to get any before wearing the dress. It's mostly fine standing up but as soon as I sat, the chest would gap open and my bra would show and constantly had to tug it up all though dinner. Nevertheless, it was still a fantastic dress and I felt so amazing wearing it, and a good change from the fitted body hugging silhouettes I usually go for. One of my favorites rentals thus far!

This dress surpassed my expectations! It fit me PERFECTLY in a 0, length was ideal, fit was ideal. Quality was superb and what one would expect from a Valentino dress. It looked just as the photos depict, actually even better on! The material is structured and the floral design adds an extra touch. I wore it for Valentine's Day dinner, and it was perfect for the occasion and stood out among the many other red and black dresses other women were wearing in the restaurant. All I needed to add was a statement necklace and sky high nude Louboutins and it was superb! One note, because of the structure of the fabric and the puffiness of the design, the bottom half of the dress did not touch my skin at all when I was standing up. So it felt a little strange, almost like I was naked on the bottom because I could not feel any fabric on my legs, but I definitely wasn't and this didn't affect the look or how much I liked the dress, just something to note.

Loved the deep vibrant color and flattering cut. Looks great in photos. Length was a perfect mid thigh. No complaints about this dress at all! Only thing I didn't like was that I had this and another order sent directly to my hotel during a week long trip and was surprised to find a $20 handling charge for receiving both boxes on my hotel bill. I've never had anything sent to a hotel before so I didn't think this was going to happen. Since RTR has specific instructions for mailing dresses to hotels on the site, surely they must know that hotels charge for this and they should have put a note up on the site. If you are thinking about having dresses sent to a hotel, call the hotel first or just have it shipped to your house and bring it with you. That's what I would have done had I known.

I rented this dress because of the unique pattern. I loved the fabric with twinkly lights but wish it came in a different cut. The dress fit well and it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but I just didn't feel like this cut did anything to flatter my body. I think it would have been better with cap sleeves. Strapless would have been nice as well. I wear sleeveless/strapless dresses all the time, but this one seemed to make my arms look larger than usual in every photo. I think it's the way the shoulders are cut. Wasn't in love with this one.

I just loved the look of this red flared Herve with its strappy details and flared bottom. It looked exactly like it does in the photos. I did find that it ran smaller in the chest and rib cage compared with other dresses from this line. I have worn about 10 both from RTR and my own and have always taken XS or even XXS, S had always been too large, but I definitely feel I could have used a S in this dress. I was able to wear the XS, but it was extremely difficult to zip, became quite uncomfortable after a couple hours, and really compressed my chest down because it was so tight. Because I thought I knew my size in this brand, I did not choose the back up size, but I would definitely recommend you do in a size larger!

I liked some things about this dress and some I didn't. Pros: fit true to size and flattering, comfortable, soft thick material great for a chilly night in Vegas. Cons: sleeves were way too long but easily remedied by folding them in, not as short on me as it was on the model, hard to zip up where the satin banding is, zipper was very thick and would create an unattractive puckering at the side that I would have to pull down the dress to get rid of, mesh cutouts are very small and virtually unnoticeable to others, and none of the detailing shows up in photos. It looks like a plain black dress in photos, so if you want a dress that stands out in photos, this is not it. I could not get the banding or mesh to show up both without and with flash. Other than that, it was a cute dress.

I ordered the XS and S in this dress but at the last minute the S became unavailable. I was nervous about the XS since all the reviews said it runs small. Not only does it run small but there is no stretch in the fabric. It was the most difficult dress ever to put on and take off. It felt like wearing a straight jacket. I was able to get the dress on but it looked horrible in the chest area because my chest was squished. I wear many different brands (Herve, BCBG, Bebe, DVF, Alice and Olivia and more) and I am always a 0, XS, or sometimes XXS and the XS in this dress was too small. So yes, the dress does run small. Do not rent with a larger backup size. This should have been made in a stretchy material. I think half the problem is the difficulty of getting the dress on and off. Poor design. Very disappointed. I probably wouldn't wear anything from this line again.

I would love to own this dress, it's timeless, classic, and sexy. Fit was like a glove, once zipped it's very comfortable and holds everything in. I was able to wear a regular low cut plunge bra with it which I was worried about beforehand since I didn't know if the dress would be too low for a bra. Simple accessories are best, I tried it with a large statement necklace and it was just too much, went with a classic diamond necklace and single bangle and it was perfect. Let the dress speak for itself. Absolutely amazing dress and probably the favorite Herve dress I've worn out of 10 or so!

I didn't select this dress as my first choice but since the back up size in my original dress was not available, RTR was nice enough to let me select a different dress as a backup so I picked this. It doesn't look very attractive on the hanger but is stunning on. Fit was perfect and I loved that I could wear a regular bra with it since Herves tend to flatten everything. It's true to size, I usually wear XS in Herve and but the small still fit great, just wasn't as tight and didn't have as much of a bandage effect. I don't usually wear grey but this was a chance to go out of my box and it went great with some sparkly pumps I had been dying to wear. It was a very successful outfit and I felt amazing in the dress!

I was really happy with this dress, I wore it to the Moulin Rouge in Paris. The forest green color is perfect for fall and it was very flattering and fit perfect. I normally wear a 0. I was afraid it was going to be too long but it wasn't. It was longer on me than on the model, a few inches above the knee but it was sexy yet classy. The lining is about 5 inches shorter than the lace but it gave a sexy peekaboo effect I liked. The lining did ride up but that's not a new problem for me so it wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a standing full length picture.

I wore this dress one night during my birthday trip to Paris. It's a lot simpler that what I'd normally go for but I wanted something simple to showcase a statement necklace and this was perfect. I'd definitely recommend wearing bold accessories and really glamming up the hair and makeup as well as wearing tall heels as I think it would look way too plain and boring without eye catching accessories. The fit was a little strange, seemed very loose in the bottom half but maybe it's supposed to be that way. The arms and shoulders were tight but the 0 which is my true size still worked out. There are zippers on the sleeves which I didn't need to use at all. The beginning of the zipper was itchy and poked my skin on one arm throughout the night. I would have preferred no zippers on the sleeves at all. Other than that though, fun dress for a night but not my favorite ever.

I had been eyeing this dress ever since it came out and it saved the day. I had actually purchased another dress to wear for my bday and it arrived defective and the replacement that was sent to me was also not right so I decided on this dress because I was running out of time and I could not have been happier. This dress fit me absolutely perfectly, looked amazing, and was incredibly comfortable. I could wear a regular bra with it and eat a big meal without feeling constricted and uncomfortable. It's incredibly flattering, and cute, fun, and sexy all at the same time. Yes it's short but it was perfect for me since I like short dresses and things are usually always long on me since I am petite. I highly recommend this dress and I will be renting the navy sleeved version when I have another occasion!

Just bought this from the clearance sale. It fit me perfect and easily in a 0 with room to breathe, I didn't find the bottom too tight at all and I have some hips and butt. The length is just perfect, it's not too short at all. If this dress was longer it would look frumpy due to the chest being all covered and the ruffles covering the shape of your body. It needs to be short to keep it fun and sexy. That being said, if you don't like mini dresses or are afraid of showing some leg, you should probably stay away from this dress! Another plus, the short length makes you look tall! I was a little disappointed with how the dress arrived to me. Was not packed in the black garment bag like the usual rentals and it had been moving around in the box and the ruffles were wrinkled. It's not possible to wear it out of the box without steaming first, unlike all the other dresses I have rented. Also the color is a much darker raspberry like pink, not the bright bubblegum pink shown in the photos. I like all pinks, but it was disappointing to see the dress was not the same shade as I pictured it. Overall it's a cute dress and for someone who goes out a lot, good to have in my closet and great for multi course dinners since it hides any tummy. Good alternative to my usual tight dresses, however I don't feel like it's wow enough and wouldn't wear it for any special occasion.

Loved this dress. Pink is my favorite color and I love anything ombre so this was a must rent, just had to wait for an occasion to wear it! Dress fit great, I wish the sleeve was not as thick and that it didn't cut across my neck so high, but that was a minor issue. The length hit me at mid thigh and was great. I've had issues with other HL dresses being too long but this was not. Have worn several other HL dresses and this one fit the loosest of all of them. Not sure if it ran big or just stretched out from so many people wearing it. Still fit, just not as skintight as others as worn in the same size. Did not receive any compliments unlike most of the other reviewers.

First of all, I am knocking off 2 stars on what would have been a 5 star dress since the actual dress does not have the unique open back detail as shown on the site, it is a regular halter and no mention was made of this anywhere on the site. I was quite surprised and disappointed to get the dress and it wasn't the same as shown. The back detail was what really caught my eye about this dress and I probably wouldn't have chosen it had it been shown with just the halter. I hate when designers come up with samples then the real version is "dumbed down" so to speak. That being said, the dress is very pretty, light and airy. Can be styled so many different ways from formal to casual. It runs a little small. I wear 0 or 2, 0 more often so ordered 2 since that was the smallest size. It fit great but tight at the waistband only. Didn't seem like a big deal when I put it on but got very uncomfortable after dinner and towards the end of the night. The rest of the dress would have been too big if I went up a size. The waistband makes my waist look super tiny and the placement is very elongating and gives a very long, lean silhouette. I am 5'3" and wore 5.5" heels and the bottom was touching the floor and I had to be careful not to step on it. Would not recommend for anyone shorter.

I wore this necklace for Valentine's Day. It's a very regal looking and sparkly statement necklace. My dress was not a gown but had a more casual silhouette with a boat neckline and this necklace really dressed it up and took it up a notch glamourwise. It seems most others have worn it with formal gowns but it also works with dresses that you could wear any weekend. It will make any outfit you wear it with a lot more formal and glamourous. Quality was good and it had substantial weight, not cheap feeling.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this dress at all and was unable to wear both sizes. I am normally a 0 or a 2 so I ordered a 4 and 6 due to most of the reviews saying it ran two sizes small. It does run small but not two sizes small. The 6 was soooo huge looking I didn't even try it on. The 4 fit but was still too large. I felt very frumpy in it. I wish I would have been able to try on the 2. I ordered this because the print looked so pretty but it looked much better in photos than in reality. The jewels look very vibrant in pictures but in real life the dress looked dull and faded to me. The 6 also arrived looking wrinkled. I didn't like the giant industrial size white plastic zipper, very tacky. An invisible zipper would be much better. And worse of all, my boyfriend commented that it looked like something grandma would wear. I know this isn't a "sexy" dress, but no girl wants to hear that. If you must wear this dress, wear it for a girls event, not to impress on a date. I have to send this back and get a credit, I'm just glad I got it "just because" and not for a special event. Next time, I will stick with my tried and true Herves, I know it will fit and no risk of looking like grandma there!

To be honest, I wasn't in love with this dress when I first tried it on. It was way too long for both my preference and my petite build, and I didn't really like the rounded U neck tank neckline, I thought it was a bit athletic feeling. However when I actually wore the dress and put it together with hair, makeup, shoes, and accesories, I liked it much better and thought the look came together really well. This is more of a subtle, understated Herve rather than all out sexy. It worked well for the Ferrari cocktail party I was attending. Obviously I wanted to look good and have the best dress there, but since it wasn't a super fancy event, I didn't want to go all out glam or look like I was trying too hard. This dress was perfect for it, still sexy and interesting without being over the top. I would recommend this for events like these, for events like my birthday or NYE, this would be too understated for my taste. I used tape to shorten the dress two bands length, and it made a huge difference in how the dress looked on me. I thought it fit very true to size, I usually wear XS in Herve, and this fit the same as the others I've worn. I felt great in it and got many compliments throughout the night!

I took a chance on ordering this dress since I don't like it on the model at all and don't think it was styled correctly. The necklace and shoes are too clunky, hairstyle is matronly, red lipstick is distracting, and the model's skin is too pale for this dress. I'm glad there were pictures posted by actual renters which helped make my decision because most of the real photos look better than site photos in my opinion. This was actually my first rental and my first Herve Leger dress. I did rent another Herve for my add on which also fit great. I am hooked now and will definitely rent more Herves as well as purchase one. I loved this dress and felt amazing in it all night. The dress was the perfect length for me, hitting mid thigh. The XS fit like a glove which was perfect because the S was not available as a backup. It was a little difficult to zip up by yourself but I am thinking that is normal for Herve dresses. Once on it fit perfectly and stayed put for the most part. It never rode up and I only had to adjust the top a couple times the whole night. The colors are muted, not super bright, but is beautiful on and looks like the ocean. I love anything ombre and this dress was no exception. The colors look a lot better when photographed with a flash. Without a flash the blues just don't photograph well. The dress itself felt a little soft, not thick and stiff like it should feel, so this dress was probably worn a lot, but this did not affect the look of the dress or the bandage effect. Wearing an Herve dress will make any night more memorable!

I usually wear 0 or 2 and I got this dress in a XS and S. Both seem to fit well but I went with the XS since it had more of a bandage effect and the S was way too long. Because of the banded design it is easy to tape up if you wanted it shorter, but I ended up not doing this because the tape provided with my order was not enough to tape up the whole hem and I didn't have a chance to run out and buy tape before I wore it. It was longer than I normally prefer but still above the knees so it was fine. I loved the bright colors of the dress. Really fun to wear and it was actually comfortable and didn't move the entire time I wore it. I do recommend shapewear with this particular dress no matter what size you are due to the design. It shows the midsection very easily. You don't need much accessorizing with this dress,it speaks for itself. I kept it simple with sky high black pumps with black crystals on them, a simple black clutch, a diamond necklace, and fuchsia lipstick the color of the dress. I loved this dress and might consider renting the blue and purple version of this!

I rented this necklace to wear with the blue ombre Herve Leger Riptide dress and it is a very nice match. Goes great with the dress colors and strapless neckline although it is not blue like it looks in the photos. The stones are gunmetal and clear colored. The size was as I expected. It felt very light for something that size and I'm not familiar with the designer but I definitely wouldn't have paid $115 for it. I think it's about a $30-$40 piece. In fact, I was going to buy a similar necklace from another site a few weeks ago for about $35 but it sold out before I could buy it. It also got caught on my hair throughout the night. I just rented this because I didn't have a necklace to go with the Herve dress I rented, this was available and easier than going to the stores to look for something. Overall, I was satisfied since the necklace looked great on, matched my dress, and I received complements, however I did feel it was a little cheap.
