I got multiple comments on this gem at work and I loved it too! The cut is a little odd in the waist. In the pics it looked fitted in the middle, but it is kind of just baggy like a JCrew crew neck sweater circa 2005. So it is loose in the middle but tighter at the bottom. Probably better for an apple shape over hourglass. But the flowers are so cute I might still rent again.

I love the style and feel of this. It's really soft. The faux fur looks incredible. My only complaint is that the material on the inside sheds. NBD if you wear something black underneath, but not the best item to pair with a white silk blouse.

I rented both the S and XS and neither worked. They fit completely fine, but the material of the zipper was stronger than the fabric of the dress so it bunched up a lot. Just the zipper part though. Imagine the side of the dress looking like a squigly line but the rest completely normal. I feel like I would've maybe needed an XXS to hold the zipper down, which is definitely not what size I am. Maybe it's just not meant for the hourglass shape? But the dress itself was also kind of boring in real life. The mesh part is really small and the detailing just doesn't stand out that much. The actual metal zipper stuck out a lot. Fortunately my back up was an Herve Leger dress that killlllled it.

Sorry the dorm selfie doesn't capture the full glory of this dress. I had actually ordered this as my back up, but it was too awesome to resist. This was the first time I'd tried on an Herve Leger dress, and I was completely blown away. It had a really secure fit (tight but completely comfortable). I have a bodacious bod and the bottom didn't ride up at all. I also didn't have to wear a bra. Always a plus. Finally got the attention of the grad student I've been creeping on so I'd say it was a great success.
