Long enough for short heels
I'm 5'11" and all-legs. This dress was long enough for me to wear with a short heel. it was a bit tight around my rib cage, but i was able to zip it up.

Too tight around the thighs
I rented a six and it was too tight in the bodice and thighs. But I think and 8 wouldn't been too loose. It's a pretty dress but maybe not best on someone like me with a small bust, modest waist, and rounder thighs/hips

The color was much more on the grey side than the purple side. the fabric was static-y, so it didn't lay on my body very well. I have long legs and they just didn't feel flattering on me.

it's not the coat, it's me.
i feel like i didn't have the right style/vibe/edge to do this coat justice. also the sleeves felt a bit short and wide. would've liked it if there was a cuff within the sleeve opening to keep the cool air out more effectively.

Great color and shine
Had to go up to the 8 because the smaller size fit better everywhere by my waistline. The lace on the bodice was a little scratchy, but not too uncomfortable. Great dress for a winter wedding.

smart casual dress with flare
wore this to a rehearsal dinner. it is not as short as it looks on the model, and i am 5'11" with stupidly long legs so trust me on that one. loved the bow detail. occasionally the straps would fall off my shoulder because the bows were heavy.

one of a kind, fun, festive
Wore this to an evening semi-formal wedding. the fabric was lightweight in the skirt, though a little hotter around the lace bodice. the zipper in the back was difficult, i presume due to frequent wear and the lace fabric. overall i loved it. it was super comfortable and unique, without standing out in a flashy way.

Fun jumpsuit you don't have to unzip to pee in
I wore this for my friend's bachelorette party. It was a very comfortable material. I liked the neckline because I like my own shoulders, so it flattered an area that i'm proud of. I'm tall and have very long legs. I wore flats with this but even the long size was about 1/2 inch too short. So if your figure is like mine, don't expect to be able to wear heels. I was glad I didn't have to battle a zipper to get it on and off, but pulling off the shoulders to pee wasn't exactly easy or comfortable.

fun top for a concert and mom's night out
wore this top to a john mayer concert. i had a baby a few months ago and haven't lost all the weight yet and feel self conscious about my belly area. this made me feel pretty while taking my mind off how my waistband looked. it did seem to run big; the small was very loose, looser than i think it is supposed to be. I'd size down for your backup size.

if you're at least 5'11", you'll need kitten heels or flats. I wore the 6 long and though the dress is longer in the back than the front, i had to go out and buy kitten heels because it would've looked like a high-water dress with my stilettos. The shoulders were a little loose on me, but wearable. my arms weren't bothered by the sequins until the end of the evening, probably because i was sweaty from dancing. I got many compliments on it, so I'd definitely recommend it.

beautiful soft pink dress that was perfect for my friend's wedding
i probably could've worn the size 6, but it was a little tight around my waist where the banding is, so I went with the 8, which was just slightly too loose overall, but comfortable. the lace along the sleeves is very delicate, so don't gesticulate or dance too hard in it.

I got tons of compliments on this dress - I wish I owned it.
I normally wear a 6 because i have a hard time getting anything smaller over my hips. In this case I wore the 8 because the 6 didn't zip around my waist in the back. However the 8 was a little loose around the bust. Nothing too terrible but not the perfect fit around the bust. I'm pretty tall and it rode up a little short from time to time. But the sweetheart neckline was perfect (a fav of mine) and the amount of shimmer was just right for my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner. Hey RTR, if you need to get rid of this thing feel free to gift it to me.

loved this. it was comfy and breezy for an outdoor formal wedding
it ran true to size for me, but i can see how it could also fit small. the fabric is soft and stretchy. it gave a great egyptian look. i started the evening wearing shape wear that i later took off, but the dress was still forgiving. Tall girls, it is a little bit short but nothing too offensive.

Overall it did a nice job for the event. If you worry about your stomach, don't do this one.
The color isn't really purple, more of a violet or blue-ish purple. It runs a lot shorter than it looks on the model; the lace doesn't actually go that much farther than the liner. The separate lace panels come together right at the stomach, so if that's your problem area you may want to choose something else. Or get a good pair of spanx. But it was very comfortable the whole night.

i normally wear a 4, but the piping in the sides of the size 4 made it just too tight, so i wore the 6 for the night. So you'll probably want to go up with your back-up size.
