“You look like sexy obiwan kenobi “
I really wanted to wear this to an evening event but the top of the dress has some issues. The draping material on the shoulder is really floppy and low slung… making my armpit crease really visible. Others may feel comfortable with this but I wasn’t. I checked other review pics and same thing. So alas didn’t wear.

Show stopping and modest at the same time
I (woman in my 50s) this to an evening event where my kid was giving a speech. Several people — including young men — commented on the dress. It’s playful, 80s and new at the same time. I wore it to work earlier in the day with leggings. I wish I could purchase this but it’s so eye catching it couldn’t be a wardrobe staple.

The print wasn’t for me
The fabric plus the print plus the cut just had a kind of babydoll vibe that I didn’t feel I could carry off as a 54 year old.

The drape on this is sturdy enough to be sculptural but not hard
Puff sleeves were a nice touch. I wore this to a big lecture and got several comments. It has a nice flow to it. Sedate colors but great fabric.

The bust is not just low cut — it’s cavernous
I was unable to wear this because the top is not just low cut (as others have indicated). There is so much fabric that unless you have a very ample chest thr fabric will just droop off.

Spectacular drape and comfy too
I wore this to a daytime wedding and could not have been more pleased with this last minute rental. I wanted a 10, but when it wasn't available I took the 8. It was so comfortable to dance and sit and eat. The drape is spectacular, goddesslike even for someone in their 50s. My mother in law even texted me AND called my hubby to say how much she liked this dress.

Nice, heavy fabric with sophisticated ruffles at neck
Alas, this dress/top can only be worn without anything on top of it due to the structural integrity of the neck ruffle, which was more like a halter-style in terms of the closeness to my neck than in photo. Also, fabric is a black denim, with fading - photo here is not super accurate. It's sophisticated in style, but casual in fabric. So, will re-rent when the weather warms up.
