I had wanted a chance to rent this dress for a while. Finally had an occasion and wasn’t as in love with it as I thought I would be. The fabric was a lot lighter than I expected and the color not particularly flattering to my complexion. I could tell from other reviews that it was either arriving wrinkles or wrinkled easily. So I knew I’d have to steam it. Fortunately seemed like it held up well over the evening. I did find the low slide would slip and expose my strapless bra. A safety pin would have been helpful. Ultimately it was a fine dress and I received a number of compliments. But I didn’t love it.

This is one of my fav RTR rentals and I have to thank all the reviews on this dress for ordering it. I don’t think I would have gotten it otherwise thinking that it would have been too much fabric for my 5’0 frame. Nope! The draping on this dress is perfection and the length worked very well for me. I wore it to a fall wedding and felt fabulous. 

Seems like a lot of fabric but works out well! Great color. 

I used sticky tape to keep the shoulder up. I weight 157 and the size 8 was better than the 10. It has a little stretch. I bit tight around the breast area. I'm a 36D

I was performing in a production of Romeo and Juliet playing Capulet and needed a structured but interesting dress to wear on stage. This one did not disappoint. It’s professional and sexy at the same time AND very figure flattering and comfy. I opted to keep it so I could wear it multiple times and I’m so glad I did. 

I opted to not had the shoulder drape. This was solved by simply pinning with a safety pin and it stayed in place for hours. 

Wore this for a fall wedding and received so many compliments! Very flattering and classy!

The fit was awkward and bulky. Looked great online but wasn’t my fave when actually on.

I had planned to wear this dress 2 nights in a row. The first night I wore it looked beautiful. Non-stop compliments And the fit just right. The color was perfect on my skin tone. The 2nd night the zipper completely broke. I couldn’t get the zipper back on track. 

Absolutely stunning. I didn’t get a picture of myself alone in the dress but it’s really lovely. Gorgeous color and fit. I really didn’t believe other reviewers who says they didn’t need Bra, but it actually did look fine without one. I’ll keep an eye in this one to see if it goes on sale

I wore this to a gala fundraiser.  The dress got a lot of compliments, the only downside was that it wrinkled quickly and once it was wrinkled it didn’t look as nice as it did originally. Overall a great dress!

I wore this dress to our church marriage retreat and received numerous compliments!  I felt beautiful in it, and it was a HIT!!!  Get the DRESS!!! 

The dress felt a little greek toga like on my petite frame so I added a gold belt to help give more structure to the draping. Dress was a show stopper, a wedding staffer told me I was her favorite dress at the wedding and she’d been eyeing it all night and a fellow guest said I “oozed luxury” (LOL!!!)

The dress for great, the fabric was nice and heavy but still easy to move around it.  Received so many compliments on it as well.   Highly recommend this as a rental!! 

I was getting compliments from strangers in the street as we were walking in! It was a very tasteful bit of shoulder. Loved loved loved. 

Loved wearing this to a fall wedding. The color was perfect, the cut super unique, and the material flattering and comfortable! I was worried it might be a little ~too~ untraditional, but I got several compliments throughout the night. Like others noted, the sleeve didn’t stay up on me but I didn’t really mind and easily could’ve used some fashion tape. I’d rent again for the right occasion!

Fits true to size. Bodice is nice and snug without being uncomfortably tight. Ate a nice dinner in this before attending a premiere, and got compliments in both places. Would absolutely wear this again. 

I wanted to love this dress. I was worried about the color for a May wedding, but given it was outdoors and woodsy- the color ended up being perfect. I have been renting from RTR for ten years now. This dress was one of my least favorites. I wasn't crazy about it. I didn't like where the belt was tied at. I did appreciate the style of the sleeves - which drew me to this dress.  It's one of those rentals where if you're heavier, it's a chance. I'm 5’2”, maybe if I was taller I would have felt ok

I actually wasn't a huge fan of this when I first tried it on, but the replacement options I ordered didn't fit so I ended up going with it anyway. I'm glad I did. It's a fun, interesting, comfortable dress. I felt really elegant and pretty in it. 

This is probably the most compliments I have gotten on a dress from RTR. I loved the color and fabrics were thick for a put together look. Only concern was my dress I rented, the zipper came undone a couple of times and you could easily see my side including my undergarments. I suggest wearing a slip and checking periodically 

I loved this dress and got so many compliments on it! I'm 5'1" and it hit mid calf. I was so comfortable all night and felt great in it! The color was perfect for an October wedding. I highly recommend this dress!!

This dress was very comfortable and I got lots of compliments! It is loose and drapes nicely over your mid section if that's an area you are uncomfortable with, this dress is great for! Loved it!

This dress was a true winner! It looked perfect at an event among floor-length gowns and the color was a beautiful rust red. I absolutely would rent this again! 

I wore the dress with both shoulders covered which seemed to work just as well as the off-the-shoulder option and had fun draping. It's definitely more of a burnt orange and ran on the small side. 

I decided to wear the off shoulder sleeve on the top of my shoulder, and I fixed in place with fashion tape. It stayed put all night and I much preferred the look of the dress this way, at least on my body!

This is a unique cut but swallows up your figure; I feel it looks more clunky than elegant. 

Calling all green eyed girls! This dress is a smash hit for all of us out there with auburn hair & green eyes. I feel like it would look great on anyone though but sometimes I struggle with the right look and this was a smash hit. I'll be saving up to buy this dress. Loooved it & fit was true. 

I wore this dress for a day out at the vineyard to celebrate my birthday and it's one of my top rated rentals. I received a lot of compliments on it and there are no cons. 
I ordered a 2r and 4r, which both fit pretty well. But because of the weather, I choose the one that fit closer to the body.  The color was amazing on my skin tone which really made it a plus and great choice. Would definitely rent again.

This was the perfect dress for a friend’s indoor/outdoor wedding. I received so many compliments on the fit of the dress - it was unlike anything I’d ever worn or seen! The asymmetric cut highlighted all the right areas, and concealed all the areas I wanted to cover up. I will absolutely rent this dress again!

Initially rented for a wedding, but the dress was not formal enough for the event, so I wore it to a derby day party instead. The dress is unique and interesting, but there's a lot of fabric which makes it unflattering and slightly bulky.
