I am 32E 5'3" 129 lbs 40yo and wear 2-6. I rarely wear strapless like this because I look like a tank in them (Still have my ju jit tsu & boxing upper body from my 20s ) This dress however has the texture and structure to balance that, So take the risk if you avoid strapless!!! It's unbelievably beautiful! It did slip down a little but I'm V shaped on top so you know, physics... I could get into the 4R but spilled over the top a tad, if I was a B or C cup I would've worn it. It's truly stunning. I've RTR'd 20ish dresses and Always get incredible complimentary feedback on them but this one is definitely the standout in that reguard. Pushing a week later and I'm still hearing about it. First review.

Killer Diller! My 17th rental.
While I can't help but calling this my Intergalactic Space Nun dress, it's very mod and it's very flattering. I'm a 32 DDD, actual 132 lbs 5'3" curvy and muscular- this dress works for this body type! ! The fabric is a very well- lined crepe and it skims and drapes like a dream. I wore a NuBra (size E)- In the second photo- you can see a bit of the outline of the NuBra due to arm positioning- I used some fashion tape on the bra to anchor down the edges to my skin , but it was otherwise unnoticeable. I wore spanx-type super thin shorts- your panties or thong WILL show. The effect was like Pippa Middleton's rump in her sister Kate's royal wedding, if I do says so myself..... I fit in the 4R, but it was too snug- the back bunched up too much on my back fat/waist. The 6R was a tiny touch roomy, but I think this is best, not a single seam strained, Draped perfectly. SUPER COMFORTABLE. The hem just touched the floor in my 4 inch heels. this is one to wear your brightest shoes! It's creamy white VS brightest white and it won't take long before it looks too worn because crepe droops after a lot of wear. This was the most talked about dress at both parties (Company winter gala and Commodore's Ball) that night, stopped a lot of people in their tracks. Everyone- Please be honest about your actual weight, so many of my rentals have been so so so tight because I chose my size based on your weight, your review and your body type. I've had 25 dresses from RTR in all, and MAYBE 4 have been perfect fits. Pretty please get on the scale that day and be accurate for us all!

Perfect silhouette
Va! Voom! Curve hugger, comfortable, heavy construction and forgiving. This dress shows off what you got but you HAVE to accessorize with punchy stuff or the look falls flat. Hence the major hardwear necklace. I didn't need a bra since the bodice is very well built. I wore something spanx-like as a comfort measure (first day of period) but it's not necessary. It's long, the 4S wasn't available, I wore 2 1/2-3 inch heels and just picked up the skirt if I had to walk very far/stairs/outdoors. Unless you're quite tall, there's not much reason to wear KillMe heels- save that budget for jewelry or a flashy minaudiere . I was in Uggs at the end of the night, nobody saw them and I lasted all night. I'm a 32DD (not 34D, but it's as close a match the profile list had)-- a smaller bust or someone less muscular could squeeze into the 2R. It came in perfect condition, clean, odorless, no snags. Don't plan to dance hard in this dress--.There's enough room at the knees to walk and take stairs. Slow dance and or don't move your feet much or you'll step on the hem and fall-- there's no give at the knees to catch yourself! (swing dancer, lots of experience in this department) I'm still getting compliments a week later. I couldn't get the necklace I wanted at RTR, but found a perfect one for $40 at a ubiquitous discount retail chain that I liked better than anything. I've rented 3 cocktail dresses (sadly no pics to review) before, so I was pretty comfortable renting this one. Definitely doing it again. I wish I had an event to wear gowns to every weekend. sigh....
