Narrow hips
I threw this into my rental bag without thoroughly reading reviews. This runs small and tight through the hips. I couldn’t wear the size I rented.

Awful shoulders
I don't feel like the listing photos accurately depict the bizarre construction of the shoulders of this top. There is basically a random rectangle of fabric at the shoulder seam that creates a strange pucker. I hated it.

Stiff sweater
I usually wear a medium but got the small for less of an oversized fit. The torso fit fine but the arms were a tad too short. The sweater is a chunky knit and my biggest complaint was that the sweater was stiff. My forearms felt strangled. The oversized fit would have worked better if the drape of the knit was better.

Mother’s Day Brunch
Great dress for a casual Mother’s Day brunch. I paired it with a denim jacket (not pictured) for some warmth on a breezy day. I thought the shoulders were a bit long and the straps narrow. I used fashion tape to try and keep my bra straps from slipping out from underneath. Dress also has a skinny belt attached— just in case you’re like me and didn’t see it in the listing pics.

Las Vegas Birthday
My only complaint about this dress was the sleeve length. They stopped about two inches before my wrist and that felt awkward. Instead I tugged them up to more of a 3/4 length. Fit was great and dress was comfortable. Definitely followed other reviewers advice and used fashion tape on the low-cut top.

Fall Wedding Success!
I went to a fall wedding in Yosemite. It was a warm day but the temperatures dropped in the evening. The longer sleeves helped keep me warm enough but cool enough to keep dancing under the stars. The bridesmaids also wore a similar style lace dress so I felt well coordinated :) I fit in both the size 6 & 8, which is pretty typical because I'm toggle between sizes. I decided to wear the 8 so I could have more room for dancing. The size 6 was a little snugger in the bust and hips. I could have worn them both. Apologies for the terrible pic-- this was taken at midnight after a long night of dancing (so my hair is a mess!)

Great rehearsal dinner dress!
I usually wear a 6 or 8 size and when I rented this dress, the size 8 was the only available. I took a chance and it paid off. The dress fit me snugly around the shoulder area-- so when I went to hug people, I could feel the dress pulling. The seam of the dress sleeves is ventilated fabric (just about 1/4 inch) so they move a bit more freely without it looking obviously different. The length was great. It wasn't too snug anywhere else but still kept a good shape. I got lots of compliments and would have loved to keep the dress.

I typically wear a 6-8 dress depending on cut/style. After reading everyone else's reviews on how large this dress was, I ordered a 6 and a 4 as my backup. I wore the 6 which fit just right. I would have liked to try on an 8 just to see if the sizing was that different but I'm happy with how I looked in the 6. Enough room in the bust, not too short for a church wedding (I also wore nylons), and pockets! That was great for stuffing a few tissues and lipstick to take to the ceremony. I got a lot of compliments and would totally recommend this dress.

Great dress for evening party!
This dress fit great. I can understand why some women would complain about the sequins bothering their underarm-- it happened a little to me but once I got dancing, I forgot all about it. The colors are muted which was great. I didn't upstage anyone by being in a super shiny dress. I danced the night away in this dress and loved it!

I rented this to wear to my goddaughter's baptism as my backup dress and I'm so glad it fit!
My original planned dress (well, skirt) didn't fit in either size I rented. I was so relieved that this dress fit without a problem. I'd say it was a little tight across the bust but likely not noticeable to anyone but me. I wore a longer necklace too that covered the area in case of any pulling. The dress even has little snaps to loop around your bra straps to prevent slippage-- a great little detail.

I rented this skirt in a size 6 and 8 for a baptism. Neither of them fit.
I really liked the pattern and fabric of this skirt when it arrived. Unfortunately, I found this skirt to be exceptionally small. I'm usually in between a 6 and 8. I'd say I'm trending more in the size 8 area lately but wasn't able to wear either size. The size 8 did zip all the way but only if I wore it around the smallest part of my waist and it was uncomfortably tight. If I was going to rent this again, I probably would have tried a 12 just to make sure I could breath in this skirt,

Sylist Surprise a big hit!
I received these as the "Stylist Surprise" that I ordered with my first RTR rental. They were a big hit. They matched both dresses I rented so the bangles worked double time during my rental period. I got plenty of compliments.

I loved being able to dance the night away and know that I didn't need to worry about getting the dress dry cleaned before returning it. I also enjoyed the little fit kit that came in the box. It's these thoughtful details that will have me renting again.
This was my first rental from RTR and I was a little nervous. I wear a 6-8 so I got those as my two sizes. I fit into the 6 but I liked having a little extra breathing room in the 8-- it left room for dinner and dancing. Dress hit me just above the knee. The waist of the skirt was just below my ribcage. FYI: You'll need a racer back bra. I got loads of compliments and would definitely recommend this dress! I also got a "mystery accessory" and loved the bangles.

Go for the surprise!
I splurged for the Sylist Surprise while putting together my first RTR Rental. I was excited at what might arrive and was delighted with the bangles I received. They went well with both dresses I rented so they worked double time during my rental period. I like surprises and this is a fun one to invest in!

I timed my delivery to coincide with two events spread over 4 days and was so glad that the dresses arrived right on time-- otherwise I would have been scrambling for a dress at the last minute.
I wore this to a friend's luau-themed bachelorette party. I'm somewhere between a 6-8 these days and rented a 6R without a backup size. The dress came the day-of the event and (thank god!) fit like a glove. There's an exposed zipper in the back for those who might not like that look. The trouble with the dress was that even the regular length was a few inches too long for me and the bottom wasn't completely straight to use the hem tape. I wore 2" heels and that almost got the dress off the ground but once I got to the party I was barefoot and trailing the dress around on the floor. Be prepared to wear this with heels!
